Bedrooms and their location attention to detail

Very slow service at breakfast due to staff shortages. Toilet in bedroom en suite was not flushing properly which was embarrassing, the toilet also had not been cleaned properly.

How accommodating a young bar man Danny was, he was very chatty and his cocktails were amazing. Our room was out of this world with the view and everything was on our doorstep.

Floor staff was a little slow to seat us down.

Reception and Bar staff were wonderful.. Bed in room 11 was excellent

Very disappointed on many levels, primarily total lack of response from management after a lengthy formal complaint. Shower= pathetic (no water pressure and faulty attachments) Toilet=scary (felt like it was going to break off the wall) View from room=overlooked by whole terrace (strained to see the sea view) Bedroom Window rusty fittings and very dilapidated Breakfast= Options not explained plus we were kept waiting on arrival and felt ignored. Room not serviced between nights and no "Service Room Please" notice to hang on door All these matters were raised on departure and reception sent email to management.. after two follow up emails to chase up a response we have still not heard from them. I would avoid this hotel at all costs i'm afraid, for the money charged (especially for the luxury double). The phrase Style over substance comes to mind.. oh and by the way, 2nd mornings breakfast was refunded as they are now no longer serving breakfasts Mon Tue and Wed!!!!

This is beautifully located right on the water and the restaurant has an amazing patio with plenty of seats/space. Very relaxing set up. Staff were all friendly and helpful plus the food was delicious. You can walk to the beach with 2 mins of the front door. Room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a break away for a weekend.

Cleanliness, and location

Sewage smell in the room,discussed it with receptionist.was told housekeeping would address it or get a fan !not dealt with.shame beautiful restaurant veranda views food all wonderful

Poor accommodation and accessibility for families with stroller. Room was up two flights of stairs with no elevator. Room was also soooooo warm and no fans available. Overpriced for accommodation

Netflix did not work on tv. When I told the staff they didn’t seem to care. Breakfast was ok. Room was ok.

The location was perfect and it felt like we were abroad. It was fabulous, gorgeous breakfast as well !

I paid extra for a large family room with a seaview. I requested a quiet room as I was holidaying with my Mother. The room faced onto a back yard I would not describe it as a sea view room. There was some kind of boiler or heater outside the room that came on and off all during the day and night.

The restaurant/ outside area of “On the Waterfront” over looking the beach and ocean is stunning and really makes the accommodation. The food is good and the wait staff in the restaurant absolutely amazing! The rooms are nicely appointed.

The bathrooms were quite dated / lacking given the price of the accommodation. Some nice toiletries / shampoo and conditioner etc would be standard for a room costing nearly EUR 200 and not public toilet style toilet roll dispensers and very budget bars of soaps / all in one body wash etc. Adding this would really lift the feel / value of the place.

Literally the worst hotel stay ever . It's like they built a nice terrace to attract customers but have no idea how or interest in running it properly or treating their paying customers with respect. Where do I start...? They do not customise breakfast. My family has some autistic members who really dislike certain foods ...beans mushroom egg...but it was not possible to customise breakfast to have it without these. The waiter was quite rude about it. 45 mins after ordering they had to come back and take our order again and it was still wrong when it came. We were there for over 2 hours. We were over 3 hours at dinner also. It seemed the staff weren't trained at all. We were totally forgotten about repeatedly. One waiter even rolled his eye when we asked for desert menus. The bar staff were openly fighting with eachother. The bar bathrooms were a disgrace at dinner time. I told the staff but it wasn't cleaned over an hour later. The rooms are extremely noisy, I could hear the people's conversation next door. The curtains were so thin they might as well have not been there. It was literally the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel.

Location is fantastic, with exceptional views.

The hotel has no working wifi in the bedrooms and shouldn't advertise that it does. Staff were overwhelmed and didn't seem to know what was going on. Manager was not proactive in meeting problems - we had to do all the running and hanging around waiting for a response. Service in the restaurant very poor, food averages, toilets were dirty with no working hand driers or paper in the dispenser. Was so frustrated with the service we checked out after one night although we had booked for two, and stayed in a much better hotel across the road which turned out to have a lower nightly rate

Such lovely staff and a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back!

Staff very hospitable from the moment we got there till the moment we left. Superb decking area for food n drinks and service was exceptional
