Very clean and comfy classic house in a great location! Nice kitchen, well equipped. Certainly would stay again next time we are in the area. Hosts easy to reach and respond via text.

We had the first big cold snap of the year our first night and the thermostat was still set very low. The 1930's house had a one-pipe steam heating system that took about an hour running to just to get the radiators warm. House was down to 60 degrees by the time the radiators kicked in. I thought maybe something was wrong with the heating but it turns out this is common for this type of steam heat starting up from cold. Once the radiators get warm they get HOT quickly! After the initial setting the heat was fine the rest of the trip. The host was easy to contact via text message and checked the thermostat remotely to make sure things were comfortable for the rest of the stay.

Location is great, as it’s in a nice neighborhood and centrally located. The house was neat and well stocked, and the owners and management were helpful and very responsive!

could have used some extra folding chairs for meals for 8, heat was not as adjustable as would like & lack of comfortable bed on 1st floor. parking was somewhat limited but we lucked out as no one else was on property

The simpleness and comfortableness of the home. I like that the home has wood floors throughout and no carpet (only a rug in the living room). Pretty much everything was made available to use inside the home like towels, basic toiletries (you will need to bring your own shampoo if you stay longer), kitchenware, and laundry.

The keyless entry lock. Upon arrival, we had trouble entering the home using the keyless entry lock. After what felt like a long time (especially after driving 7 hours), we finally got in. We had trouble again that night coming back and the following day after a trek. We followed the instructions exactly what was sent with success after 10 minutes of trying to gain entry. It should never have taken this long to gain entry. It should be immediate. I texted the host(s) and the suggestions on what to do didn't help us to gain entry into the home. My companions and I finally decided to try to change the batteries of the keyless entry, then it worked perfectly. It was truly a frustrating situation to be in.

We had an absolutely great time! The only problem was with the lock getting in. We had some trouble on the first day and ended up just leaving the back door unlocked because the front door kept getting stuck.
