Located in Rockport, this lovely house for $442 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This delightful, sunny cottage is on a quiet side street in the heart of Rockport. A lively perennial garden graces the front of the home, along with a cobblestone patio that offers both sun and shade. The downstairs offers an open floor plan, with high ceilings and a nicely outfitted kitchen, living room, and dining area. There is even a stacked washer and dryer tucked into the utility closet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a full bath with a tiled walk-in shower. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and the second bedroom contains two single beds. Leave the car in the driveway and walk to Front Beach, Bear Skin Neck, and more. The house is perfectly situated in the picturesque village of Rockport with its boutiques, art galleries, world-class concert hall, and a multitude of restaurants. A choice of two great beaches are also within a 10-minute walk from the house. It's all there! No smoking. MAIN LEVEL Living/Dining: The open floor plan features a comfortable living area with a sectional sleeper sofa (double bed) and additional seating. The dining area has a table that seats up to 4. Kitchen: The contemporary kitchen has a stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher, plenty of counter space for meal prep and amble cupboards for storage. The laundry unit is tucked in the utility closet, and there is a separate cubby space for additional storage. SECOND FLOOR Master Bedroom: This room has a Queen bed, a dresser, and a built-in shelving unit. Bedroom 1: This room has two twin beds. Bathroom: The full bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower. EXTERIOR The front yard has a lovely cobblestone patio and walkway surrounded by beautiful perennial gardens. Enjoy dining or simply relaxing outdoors on the patio furniture. PARKING There is parking for two cars in the driveway.

Super cute/classic new england on the outside yet modern and updated on the inside - the best of both worlds. We loved our stay for myself, husband and 7 year old daughter. Bring less than you think you need clothing wise because the on site washer dryer work very well - there is also an iron and copious shelves/storage. No closet but plenty of hooks upstairs and downstairs so that wasn't an issue. Very nice patio in front for sitting out at night. The street itself is lovely - mostly residential homes and quiet. Our favorite feature was how close we were to downtown and the restaurants and shops - literally walk to the end of the street and take a right and there you are - you don't need to drive anywhere which was great. A 10 min walk max to Front Beach which is the perfect beach for little ones especially. We love this place and plan to return every year.

The house was super cute. It was very cozy for two adults or a small family. The house was very neat, clean, and well-appointed. Everything you need was provided. The location was superb as downtown is only a 5-minute walk as is the ocean. Off-street parking for two cars is a plus. We needed both the heat and A/C which both worked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

This was the cutest beach bungalow. Absolutely charming with everything we needed for our girls’ getaway trip. Quiet neighborhood, that was picture perfect. Rockport is very relaxing and a beautiful New England beach town.

Reviewer Comments: weather was great House was clean and well furnished w/towels.sheets.pots/pans,utensils We were not able to get the BBQ Grill to work.a fellow came and he said they would return with a full tank of gas but y then it was time to go home and we do not know if he came with new gas we could not get the thing to turn on for gas And we had a couple of bad days with TV but fellow came and showed my daughter how to re boot if it happened again.. This i8s the second year we have stayed there and wish to go back again nex year if all goes well The only reeommendation we would like to see a screen door at least out to the front seating/eating area Feel with glass door closed we are shut in and air circulation is not the best just through the windows hope you all fared well in the storm how lucky we were to be there the week we picked thanks

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! Only .5 miles from here to the tip of Bearskin Neck and also to Front Beach. House was perfect for my family. Clean & cozy. Only one AC, but it kept the house comfortable. There was artwork inside from local artists (different from the pictures online) which we enjoyed and we bought a matching smaller print to remember our trip. There is a hose outside which was perfect for washing the sand off our beach stuff. The kids loved looking at the butterflies and bees in the garden, and they even found a snail. They loved the bedroom with the twin beds. We received a bag from the rental company with dish soap for hand washing dishes, a new sponge, and laundry soap. I wish they had included dishwasher soap as well. There were some coffee filters in the cabinet to use for the coffee maker. We loved getting breakfast at Helmut's Strudel and eating at Roy Moore's Fish Shack (awesome warm lobster rolls). We enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommend the Ladybug House.

Everything was A 1 in terms of amenities and the owner thought of everything. It was comfortable and very private. I liked that it was so close to Old Garden Beach. I felt like the home was mine. My only criticism was not ONE window air conditioner was not enough to keep the house cool. We had it running 24/7 at 60 degrees to try to get some relief. Maybe the house needs ceiling fans, esp. downstairs or portable fans or another air conditioner. Of course, there is always central. So as a result of a wonderful stay, I have booked for 2 weeks next August. It is worth every penny to be able to go back and enjoy the house and Rockport which is my first love.

Due to the pandemic, we wanted to vacation but not have many worries of overcrowded hotels. Without a doubt, the Ladybug house offers location, a charming neighborhood, perfect cottage like stay and every amenity you can chose from there. The home is beautiful! Perfect for couples, a small family or an individual stay. We had every meal out on the front patio which offers views of perennial garden. The kids loved the room with twin beds and a beautiful breeze came through the house each night. In short, this home gave us many great vacation memories and thank you AVH for the welcome bag. We are planning our next stay and would choose the home again in a second.
