we had friends staying near by, it was great we could have a separate living area for the teens to hang in

The location was good, only a short walk to Smith's Beach and YCW. It is close to the GP track, and a short drive into Cowes, San Remo ... in fact, you can get almost anywhere in 15 minutes. It would possibly be a good house for young people or families in summer.

The property was not clean. One of the main doors couldn't be locked so we had to call the agent who had someone come out and fix it; however, the key still didn't turn in the lock. The bungalow at the rear was nice but the fridge was rusted and needs to be replaced or removed. The BBQ and surrounding area were dirty. The shower in the main house flooded as the water did not go down the plug hole easily. Also, the main living/kitchen area was quite small for a house that potentially could sleep up to 11 people. It was a squeeze for even 6 people to eat at the kitchen table.
