Self-catering home from home. Easy access to Brixham on foot and not far from other beaches and locations which were within a few minutes drive. The outdoor space was a plus for the children and we enjoyed the availabilility of a bar-b-que on site. Our little Princess did not want to leave so there were a few tears!!!!!

House had everything you needed. Was light and airy and clean.
Angus was happy for us to have an extra hour to get everything ready on the day of departure which was a great help.
The location was further away from town than we had hoped. Not walking distance with a 4 year old. Parking was not always easy with two cars. Driveway appeared bigger in the photos. Worst part were the beds. Mattresses were uncomfortable - could feel springs especially on the side of king size mattress.

Lovely sized house, comfy beds, lovely open plan living and a short walk down the hill to Brixham. Great local contact as well.
The kitchen just needed a few more bits and a new frying pan but great apart from that

nice and clean. good location
Mattresses on all beds very uncomfortable, we had aching backs by the end of the four nights.not good when you go away for a relaxing break!! it was mentioned in the comments book, so why dont you change them?! its not like they are expensive considering the price of the accommodation. so we wont be going back or recommending this accommodation to anyone.

The beds were in need of upgrading, everything else was perfect

Quiet area although very hilly to walk back from the harbour but it was a very hilly resort and if we had stayed nearer the harbour it would have been noisy.
The bunk bottom mattress was not very comfortable

The property was furnished to a high standard throughout, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre/harbour provided that you can cope with steps or steep hills. A good base for exploring the area.
More details on parking and the key safe would have been useful and a DVD player downstairs would have been very useful in the evenings.

Lovely decorated, beautiful house, Angus very helpful when I needed help working the hob!
All was absolutely lovely except the 4 poster bed and the main sofa. Both had seen better days and could do with replacing! Also we had only been left about 6 squares of loo paper, thought it was included.

Everything! Comfy beds, beautiful house, clean rooms, everything else you could need. We will definitely be returning
Could have done with a hoover and additional cleaning facilities

Beautifully refurbished property which had everything we needed. We were a couple of towels short but the helpful and friendly host quickly sorted it out. Ideal home to explore the area from. It's a 10 minute walk down to the harbour, we didn't mind the steps on the way back but it's worth considering if you aren't fond of hills!
The only couple of niggles were that the bunk bed mattresses aren't great, you can really feel the springs through them. I think mattress topper or better quality mattress would be good. Also basic instructions on how to work the boiler would be useful in the welcome pack, I was worried i'd turn it up too much or break it by pressing random buttons.
