Enjoy your spacious villa overlooking the Pacific with easy access to the beach, Balboa Island, Fashion Island, and Knott's Berry Farm. Resort provides fun activities including tennis and basketball, an onsite putting green, three outdoor pools and a modern fitness center. Rent a bike and explore Newport Coast, BBQ some lunch and enjoy a picnic with the family, schedule time for a relaxing massage at the luxurious spa, or enjoy an alfresco meal at La Vista Pool Bar & Grill. This two bedroom villa sleeps eight and features a king bed in the primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (separate walk-in shower and jetted tub). The guest bedroom features a queen bed, and a sleeper sofa for extra two guests. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination unit and single vanity. The villa equips a full kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, drip-style coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, and cookware. Off the kitchen is a washer & dryer for your convenience. The living room features cable tv, a sleeper sofa and a separate dining area for six guests. The property has complimentary wireless internet for guests inside units and in public spaces. Resort assigns the unit number at check-in. Pictures of units are representative and decor may vary. Complimentary, onsite parking. This is a Cashless Resort, and credit cards are the only acceptable form of payment. No mid-stay housekeeping is included. You may add it on at check-in for a nominal fee. Please note, not all buildings have elevators, and stairs may be needed to access the villa. We have stayed at this property several years and love the location and big villas. However, this year the master shower had big clumps of hair at the drain & a plastic ,I’d for a disposable razor on the floor that was stepped on and hurt. Also found a open safety pin on the bedroom floor. I reported it and they did a full clean the next day but not a good way to start our stay. My only other complaint is they only have towel service by the pool on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You have to drag your wet towels to your villa then call for towel replacement. This is ridiculous and should be changed. The food by the pool was very good and plentiful .

Good location. Nice staff. Super appartement. Should have had a few more restaurants inside the resort. Only one restaurant (by the pool) and the food was not great at all.

We emailed two times at least two weeks before our stay for upstairs villa with ocean view. Every villa has an ocean view and I know nothing is guaranteed but really??? We got back villa, bottom floor with view of canyon. Person at check in said they never received our request therefore we go the worst villa I’ve ever stayed in. Have been going there for years! We could hear every footstep above us and sounded like they were playing football every single night. Constant pounding with running literally for hours at night. We asked if we could get another room and we’re told they couldn’t move us because they “didn’t do that”. Really??? Obviously the resort didn’t get our request weeks beforehand so communication is definitely lacking. We’ll stay at Marriott Newport in the future but don’t think we’ll go through VRBO.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures, they do not do this property justice! The grounds are meticulously, kept, and there are a ton of amenities that you do not see in the photos. There are quite a few pools, basketball court, fire pits, volleyball, game room, fitness activities, etc. There’s a shuttle that runs to the beach daily and it is much closer than it appears! The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Bring your family and plan to spend a few days at the property, taking advantage of of the activities.

I almost don’t want to say how amazing it is so that this gem of a place stays hidden but it was the perfect place for my family of 6. We had plenty of room, there was so much to do, the staff was amazing. Highly recommend.
