Best birthday ever!!!

We have such a fun time, the nicest staff and great service all around! Beautiful stay

The staff were incredible!! So so nice and helpful. Everything was so clean and very well kept.

Not very much lighting in the bedroom. Rooms were darkly lit, but so clean and lots of space. Loved the room, just wish it had more lighting.

Gostei de tudo! Limpeza impecável de cada detalhe do hotel, acomodação espaçosa e confortável, comidas e bebidas muuuito boas e sem limites, festas e apresentações muito bem organizadas e divertidas, piscinas espaçosas e limpas. Super recomendo!!!

Só achei a descarga do banheiro um pouquinho fraca hahaha, mas nada que desmereça o restante.

Traumhaftes Meer - tolles Hotel

Wenn man das Hotel betritt, sieht man gleich auf einen Pool und das Meer - Absolut traumhaft. Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick mit dem Meeresrauschen einfach herrlich. Das Essen war gut mit viel Auswahl. Animation gab es genug und dennoch gab es einen zweiten Pool, bei dem es ruhig war. Auch das Personal war auf zack und man konnte gar nicht durstig werden. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und hatten einen Tiefgaragenparkplatz, der immer zugänglich war, was toll war für frühe Ausflüge bzw. die Fahrt zum Flughafen. Der Strand und das Meer waren absolut sauber, keine Algen. Genug Liegen vorhanden sowohl am Strand, als auch am Pool. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Beim Check-In wurden wir anfangs ignoriert und allgemein war der Empfang eher lieblos - trotz Sektempfang. Das kennen wir von anderen Hotels anders. Von den 800 € Guthaben, die booking.com erwähnt hat, wurde gar nichts gesagt. Da wir aber bereits in Bewertungen gelesen haben, dass da nichts sinnvolles dabei war, haben wir nicht nachgefragt. Den sehr strengen (Putzmittel?)Geruch im Hotel und auch im Zimmer fanden wir sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und kennen wir von anderen Hotels in Mexiko nicht so. Das ist allerdings jammern auf hohem Niveau und hat unserer Zufriedenheit keinen Abbruch getan.

Don’t stay at RIU in Cancun

The property was clean and close to airport

The staff were absolutely not hospitable. We got moved to a sister RIU property once we arrived. They told us it was an upgrade which it was not. There were a lot of rules and you were ignored if you didn’t have money in your hand to order. There was not really any food available during hours when you would expect it to be free flowing at an All inclusive. The only thing available for the majority of the day is hamburgers and hot dogs. Two days when we went down to the pool there were no chairs ( someone eventually got them for us) I couldn’t reccomend any RIU property less and will never stay at one of their locations again. I’ve been to the Hyatt in Cancun and had a great time.

Cool Location Food Not so Good

It was in a great location and very clean. The staff was helpful and spoke English. There was always staff around to help. Different pool areas and close access to beach was very nice.

The food. I did not like the food at all. Most of the restaurants at night had a 1.5 -2 hour wait and if you came down around 7 that meant you would not eat because most places closed by 9 or 10. So you basically had to get there by 6 especially the nicer restaurants like the steak house or Japanese restaurants. The drinks are very watered down and barely have alcohol in them.

The facility was wonderful. The staff was friendly and and extremely helpful. Our time was brief and it was our first time at an All-inclusive facility, we totally enjoyed ourselves and will be doing an all inclusive again.

Maravilhoso, vale a pena cada segundo

Tudo maravilhoso, desde a chegada no check in até a flexibilidade que eles dão na saida. All inclusive completo de verdade e com comidas premium muito saborosas. Restaurantes muito bons e com boa diversidade de opções, sem precisar fazer reservas para os restaurantes de especialidades. Equipe e serviço de bar extremamente simpáticos e não ficam pedindo gorjetas para um bom atendimento. Quarto espaçoso e bem arejado. Foi uma experiência incrível, mas precisam melhorar a manutenção dos quartos.

Excelente localização, pé na areia com uma praia particular. Serviço "All inclusive" realmente completo e a vontade. Estrutura do hotel excelente, duas piscinas enormes, entretenimento, vários restaurantes, bares, teatro, café, etc.

A decepção foi no primeiro quarto que ficamos: fiz a reserva com vista para o mar, mas para ver o mar tinha que esticar o pescoço. Ar-condicionado com problema, torneira do banheiro com pouca água, ducha do banho com pouca água além de muito quente, cheiro de mofo no andar e no quarto. Devido ao problema no ar-condicionado nos mudaram de quarto no terceiro dia de hospedagem. Neste novo quarto, aí sim tudo ficou dentro das expectativas: linda vista do mar, torneira e ducha com bastante fluxo de água e sem cheiro de mofo.

Nice beach and location, sub standard food and little outdated property.

The best part was the beach and the location

Food in buffet area was sub standard. There was no options for people from Indian/ South Asia. If you add couple of dishes will make a difference. There was no change in menu for our entire stay, not a big deal but few changes here and there should work. Pizza was ok but could have been made better. Property is little outdated as compared to the Riu next door. Need some work. But you get what you pay for.

Worry-free all inclusive stay on the beach.

Wonderful water views, right on the beach and fairly good selection to eat on the property. Rooms were clean and hotel staff friendly.

The rooms could use all the overhaul a bit outdated. The balcony walls were to high to enjoy the views while seated. The main swimming pool had some corners with accumulated dirt. The restaurant seating was nebulous spite posting on the outside of the restaurant that the second seating would start at 9:30pm Some restaurants would not seat you at 9:15pm even though they had availability.

Good stay, staff is great and nice food options

This is my second time staying at the hotel. The food is always good and wide variety of options. It makes the stay that much better. The staff is always helpful, attentive and always very nice.

The facilities are good, but some areas need updating - I.e rooms, gyms. The amenities are good and there is always something to do. Some of the fixtures within the rooms are dated, or weathered or don’t work. I also noticed that some of the staff had tattered uniforms, leading me to believe the hotel doesn’t take care of its employees. It’s unfortunate because a hotel charging this much should invest in its employees. They do great work and I hope they are compensated fairly.

RIU Palace Las Americas Adults Only- Great for Beach and Party

I selected RIU Palace Las Americas Adults Only because of their clean beach after a long research of the Caribbean cost this summer. As you know Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean sea experience serious Sargasso's contamination of the sea waters and the beaches. The beach/water was in perfect condition during my stay the first week of July 2023 and I enjoyed to the fullest. They have also 2 big infinity/party pools and one smaller and more private pool on their premises in great conditions as well. If you are party person you will like this hotel and their full stocked with alcohol dispensers rooms as well. I did not stay all the time in the hotel so my main experience was related to the beach when I was there. I love the beach waiter who was bringing fresh drinks non stop. Great guy. :)

The main shower head was not working in my room but honestly this time decided to tell them on my leaving instead of wasting my time trying to fix room issues. I had a fan above the bed and it can get really cold in the room and I don't like blowing in my head as well. I did not figure out how to stop the fan when the electricity was on and I forgot to ask them as well. I just wanted tranquiller vacation this time so I ignored small issues on purpose.
