Excellent location if you don't have transport. All attractions are within walking distance or easy to use public transport.

Excellent location. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal. The beds were hard. Very tight parking space.

The day I made the booking I emailed the property regarding checkin and how would I be able to access the unit and parking as we were arriving between 7-8pm. she responded by saying she would email me on the day of arrival with the information, but never did. We booked for 2 nights - Friday and Saturday. We arrived at the property at 7.45pm and had not received an email or any instructions on how / where to check in. We called the number twice and there was no answer. We left a voice mail. I walked up to the main gate and spoke to a night receptionist who said she had no record of our booking and that there were some units privately owned / managed and our booking must be with one of them. We tried calling the number a third time and no answer. I sent a text message - no response. I then called Booking.com, who also tried calling the person and also no answer. By now it was 8.20pm and the lady from booking.com said if it’s been 30 minutes and there was no answer we would have to seek alternative accommodation. We went to the Novotel and was able to get a room for $462 for the night. By now it was 8.30pm, 45 minutes after we had arrived, so thinking we were going to be without accommodation we paid the charge. 8.38pm the owner called to say the key was in the safe. I said we don’t know the PIN number to the safe as we never received an email or any information. She said she would call me back and hung up. 10-15 minutes later I received an email with the PIN number to the safe which had the key to the parking lot and room. When we arrived Saturday morning (9.30am) there were people in the neighbouring units smoking pot. The owner expected us to clean the flat before we left and take the garbage with us. She also demanded I leave my credit card details on a piece of paper in a communal safe which I refused.

The access is abit crappy. Doors are hard to open, and no lift to help pram access to top.

Not even basic amenities provided like toilet paper, tissue paper, etc. Only 1 bin liner, no extra bags to put rubbish. No advise where to throw garbage as email mentioned take rubbish along with you. Couch was very old, seat coming off whole time. Washing machine was dirty, so no point of using it. Hair everywhere, cleaning could have been much better.

The location was good to walk around Surfers so very handy for that. The unit was comfortable and clean with enough room. When the unit was shut up surprisingly quiet and no traffic or other noise.

Was hard to get the key, it was supposed to be in lock box in an envelope. However key was loose and buried under other envelopes so took time to find. I did not like that there was no laundry detergent, one tiny squeeze of dishwashing and a FIFTH of a roll of toilet paper with no extras at all. Could have left at least ONE full roll of loo paper. I understand that people should buy their own if staying a while but need to have enough to start with!!! There was absolutely nothing in the cupboards to be able to cook our pizza on in the stove. A distinct lack of any pots and pans at all considering there is a kitchen. Some people don't want to eat out all the time and want to save money and cook for themselves especially when you book a place with a kitchen. The pool was OK would have been better except the bottom had a heap of sand on it and one person sat in the spa for over an hour with it off so when we wanted to use it we could not. Parking is tight but the entry in is SUPER tight so people travelling need to know that. OK if you had a yaris or other small compact car but our 4wd even though a compact one, was very hard to get around the corner from the parking, past the column.

Hard to find

It is only a 4 minute walk to the beach, 6 minutes to Cavill Ave and Woolworths. There is so much to do, and there is no need to get in your car at all. We stayed 4 days and didn't drive anywhere, just walked!!
