We stayed here for a week when we went to Winnipeg for my niece's curling tournament. My sister and I loved having our own bedrooms, loved the full kitchen, loved loved loved the free underground warm parking, and found the place cozy and welcoming. We would go back in a heartbeat. So nice to be able to get up and have coffee and breakfast before leaving for the day.

During our first night of 3 nights we found a bed beg on the pillow in the living room. We messaged the host and he was apologetic but would not agree to giving us a refund of our money on our stay and said he “would let Vrbo decide how to handle it.” Vrbo told us it would be a closed case if he just refunded us. We moved to the glass house down the road which we have stayed in several time previously and it was immaculately clean with great communication with the host.
This listing has bleach stains all over the carpet, hair inside the utensils drawer with the back of the utensil drawer filled with food crumbs, the microwave tray is broken so they replaced it with a plate that doesn’t rotate, the bathtub won’t drain, and the bathroom ceiling fan is covered in think grey dust. We had to walk to dollarama to purchase a dish scrubber after checking in because the one provided was covered in what looked like pet hair.
The final straw was the bedbug. All photos were sent to the host and his response was “well I have photos to show the place was clean” It’s filthy! We own a short term rental in Canmore, Alberta and cleanliness is top priority.
Highly highly do not recommend renting this property!

The apartment was dirty and unkempt. The building was the same. The downtown area of Winnipeg immediately outside the building was very dangerous at any time of day or night. Very dissapointing as I was born and raised in Winnipeg. The apartment had a number of items damaged already and I am currently being accused of damaging a bed . Really feels like I'm being taken advantage of. It is not in the best interests of VRBO to continue to promote this property.

We very much enjoyed our stay.
The first couple days we had trouble with parking due to a very large vehicle in the adjoining spot. After the second day the vehicle wasn’t there anymore so parking worked out better.
There were a few damaged items in the suite but nothing major.

Clean, very tight parking but first time ever doing this was a great experience. I’ll be doing this again and so will my friend.

Perfect location if you want to be in the heart of the city, and want to explore the history of the area. Parking is tight a smaller sedan reccommended but its indoors so great for the Wpg winters. It is close to many attractions.

Neg: Intrusive management. Wanted to know how old I was & what the purpose of my stay was. Understandably wouldn’t give me, but als refused to give me the intersection.
Sparsely equipped with old pots & pans (Teflon gone) No extras such a second box of Kleenex or salt & pepper. Ratty worn out towels (2 sets for 1 person.) Only 1 chest of drawers, in the bedroom furthest away from the bathroom. No mattress cover. *Very cramped parking spot. Best to back in, otherwise it takes a lot of manoeuvring & you’ll have a good chance of damaging your car. (I found out the hard way).
Would I stay here again? Yes, but would bring a few ingredients for cooking & made be a trip to Value Village for a pot & frypan.

Definitely one of the better places to stay downtown overall. Seamless check-in process, easy and fast communication and conveniently stocked with with all the little things to make ur stay just that more comfortable ( that a lot of short-term rentals usually overlook)
