Because of the bedding hygiene, it was overall a bad experience.

The location was great.

The bedsheets had several small hairs in them, some stains and smelled like the were not washed. We booked the apartment for 3 people and were surprised when we arrived because the bedding and towel were missing for the 3rd person who was going to sleep on the sofa. The towels also smelled weird and had stains. We contacted the host regarding this but they never responded. We requested the 3rd towel but they didn’t respond to it. In the apartment description it says that they are protecting the environment by not ironing the bedsheets, but the bedsheets were obviously dirty, not just wrinkled. We have photos of the hair we found in the bedsheets.

Wi-Fi does not work and staff made no efforts to help. Kitchen equips minimal. strong smell of cheap room perfume Couch bed is very dirty.

the apartment perfectly located near the port, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

it was fabulously located for what we needed. Very easy to find. Very well equipped. Even had a shared washing machine. we were able to unload and then park our motor bike legally very close by.

once inside, access to apartments is via metal stairs or a lift. the upstairs guests came home late and made a lot of noise getting up the metal stairs and then rearranging furniture.

nice clean appartment, recommended, will come again

I was looking for a central location in Algeciras for a few days and just by looking at the name of this property, you would think it fits the bill, and it does. It is placed very close to a square on the high side of Algeciras, but still every close to the sea front. In close proximity there are supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and even a free municipal parking (down next to the sea front, some 200m away). About the free parking, it is actually completely free, but there are some guys roaming the place and being helpful by pointing out where there may be a free spot - they were helpful and they expect a tip, 1euro seemed to be enough each time. The apartment is clean, has a good view and has a well equipped kitchen. The bed and sofa are nice and comfortable, overall we had a very good experience the two days we've been here and would come again.

Getting in the property was slightly harder than it should be, but now that I've seen this system it'll be easier next time. Basically the first step is getting the keys from a safe locked with a bicycle-like code. Then with the keys, you follow some instruction on the door to put the key in and pull/push on the handle in a few ways to get the door open. Now I am quite positive I know what clockwise and anti-clockwise means, and the sign on the door is exactly the opposite of what opened the door for us. If you follow the instruction the lock stays locked, doing the opposite opens it. Then you need a good push in the door to get it open (which again makes it counter-intuitive the door is actually unlocked). The door handle is wobbly, probably due to every visitor trying to follow the unlocking instructions and failing, then pulling on the thing. I would advise the property to review the instruction on the door and maybe change or refurbish the handle and hinge to the door.

Perfect location, comfy bed, good price!

This is a lovely apartment, perfectly located in the centre of Algeciras right on Plaza Alta. Communication from the host was excellent with easy to follow directions and check in instructions. The apartment is small, but well equipped (apart from only having one cup). Shower gel, toilet roll, and washing up liquid provided. No kettle, but able to boil water on the stove. Smart TV so we were able to log in to our own Netflix account which was great. The bed was very comfortable!

There was only one cup for tea / coffee

Great place, but certainly ask for necessities prior to arrival.

The apartment was centrally located near plenty of restaurants and stores.

The owners knew the wifi connection was out and didn’t warn me ahead of time, so I wasn’t able to book elsewhere and unable to do my work, and no compensation was offered.

Great location but not noisy! Lots of space and light. Good and quick communication with host. We were able to check in an hour earlier. Great shower and extra items like an iron and kitchen items. Beautiful view to the church in front of the window.

On the first look the appartment looks tidy because the interior is nice but it urgently needs a deep clean and items replaced. The sofa, the towels and sheets were stained and had hair on it, and there was old dirt in all corners. We felt like we didn't even want to take our shoes off and we are usually not super picky. The dishes were not clean either and we even had a used mug in the cupboard. Every piece of furniture has some damage to it. The bed is extremly soft (maybe worn out?). I would've easily given the place a 9 or above given that it's very pretty and in a great location but it definitely lacked care.

Best location in the city

The best location possible, right in the city center with shops and bars around. The host was always kind and explained quite well how to get into the property. The place was clean and tidy and had pretty much all we needed. The size is fine for two people, but would be too tight if you are a family with one or two children.

The worse thing was the bed, which is probably the most uncomfortable one I have ever been in a hotel or apartment. We were two people on it and we were falling right in the middle under our own weight. Same with the pillows as they are thin like a piece of paper. Also it's located in such small space that there is no room for a side table so you will have to leave your phone or glasses on the floor. Also the wardrobe is tiny and there is no other space to put your clothes or hang your towels to dry.

Nice apartment right next to the square

Location, value, it was very clean and everything was provided.

The sofa was small for two people, but we managed. Also, needs one more extra blanket in the cupboard.

Hosts were very helpful, willing to solve any problems that occurred.

The description says "The air-conditioned apartment is composed of 1 separate bedroom, a living room,..." in reality it is only one room with a bed and a coach. The coach however does not suit for 2 people (at most for 2 small children) so a self-inflate mattress was brought and used. A nice apartment but at most for 2-3 people.
