I was going to go to my concert first as I was late but was told by the owner of this property I should meet him. Met him at 9.50ish 25mins away from my concert.

First it was the check in process but I let it go. I was called after driving 2.5hrs to come meet the landlord, my intention was to go straight to my concert which I was running late for because of the traffic then had to add 40mins to meet him and go back. Not ideal but I said well it’s his property 🤷🏽‍♀️waited ten minutes then First room I was shown no 25 Room 2, another guy was also waiting also with me out side to see it. Landlord arrived then said he upgraded me to a one bed. I asked to see this one first as it looked like a new extension at the back of the house. As soon as he opened the door I felt like I was walking into a giant “ASHTRAY”. The cigarette smoke hit our faces as we walked in. I walked back and said no. Took me to the front of the house no27. Opened the door explained other guests were there but it looks as if people actually live there like a shared accommodation. From the door it was filthy, a huge settee blocked the passage. And there were 3-4 prams parked in one Conner, carpet minging, we went up the steep steps….same thing when we walked in but to a lesser extent cigarette smoke. It was a tiny one bed. I was late for my concert I said ok. I tried to get into the tiny shower ….mat was so slimy moved it to the side the shower base was worse. Because of the open water whole base flooded a little…discoloured water 🤢🤮was quickly filling up turned it off. Tried to brush my teeth. Drains smell filled the whole house when I opened the water. Ok tried to open the windows and curtains to at least let cigarette smoke out….one side of the curtain pole was off the wall just hanging😳 no wardrobes …a broken cloth rail in the kitchen 🤷🏽‍♀️. I just sat down booked myself into the holiday in at Luton airport and just walked out. I extended an hour and a half lateness to my concert for a dilapidated apartment. Not intending to sound mean but it’s the kind of place I would accept when I am homeless, have no money, no choice and desperate. Not worth a penny

Was very nice and clean and comfortable aswell as quiet and close to town and all amenities

Not really applicable; although they did leave a small box of mixed cereals

Bed and settee very uncomfortable. Wardrobe was unsafe. Lack of tea towel and anything really to cook with. I'm quite tall and the shower cubicle was angled which made it difficult to stand straight. Also the woodwork in the bathroom looks damp around where the pipes are

Small amounts of rubbish under the bed and in the bed was brown tape in a number of places

Everything was okay and the location was good aswell
