You won’t want to leave this place!

This place was paradise! New bungalows with very nice features and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful water around you. They have paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling gear. It was well equipped. The owner greeted us when we arrived. You can feel the passion he has for this place. Drew also runs the restaurant and the food is outstanding! The dishes are well thought out, creative and the flavors do not disappoint. Some of the items he uses on his dishes are from his farm! It’s absolutely amazing.

Exceptional

Drew & Tamara together with their team are doing a great job , creating on Isla Solarte a timeless bubble full of different impressions & possibilities ....sleeping over the water in a comfy way , eating a excellent breakfast , having a gourmet dinner, chatting with the owners about the local life , walking trough the tropical forest , snorkel after sea stars or head for a coffee & some shopping to Bocas Town, and last but not least have some surf lessons :)....

Exceptional

Facilities were amazing and the food was great (breakfast and dinner) and creative with local ingredients. However, most importantly the owners / hosts Drew and Tamara are awesome. They have truly created a super personal and beautiful accommodation which we really enjoyed. They also helped out with tours, transportation etc and were generally flexible.

INCREDIBLE service, clean, relaxing, attention to detail

- Location was great - quick 5 minute boat taxi ride. Quiet and peaceful!! - Drew and Tamara were incredibly accommodating!! - working around my food allergies to make sure I was comfortable - super clean!! - warm and friendly staff!! - fantastic accommodations!! - 5 stars

would've been great if there was Air Conditioning (but I knew that there wasn't in advance) and Drew was SO accommodating! He brought me 2 standing fans to make sure I was comfortable. After I booked he offered to fully refund me my money if I thought the lack of AC was going to be an issue. It wasn't.

Fantastic Bungalow with wonderful people and welcome.

Amazing location and the owners communication from enquiring about Sol Bungalows to staying in them was excellent and very informative. I was doing a tour of Panama with my 12 year old daughter and my older daughter and her partner so I was looking for a special place to stay and Sol Bungalows had it all. Drew and Tamara are exceptional hosts and have thought of everything to make your stay at Sol Bungalows an experience that you will enjoy and remember as they know the area and have great knowledge of what to do while in the area. The paddle boards, kayak and snorkels were great to make the most of the location even when it rains. Tamara can offer a massage during your stay which I would highly recommend. We had breakfast each morning during our stay and dinner which was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Fantastic few nights and the accommodation was amazing with a lovely welcome drink on the deck when we arrived so Thank you Drew, Tamara and staff for a lovely stay.

Nicest stay in all of Panama

I did a lot of research before choosing Sol Bungalows and came in with really high expectations.. those expectations were quickly exceeded across the board. I’m not kidding!! Easily the best food we’ve had on the entire trip. The breakfast was incredible… you need to try the smoothie bowls. I’d also highly recommend the dinner option and cocktails. The accommodations are brand new and offer 5 star luxury right on the water. The location is perfect, extremely safe, and only 5 min boat taxi from everything. We stayed 3 nights but wish we stayed a few more given how much there is to do nearby. You can even paddle to the Blue Coconut for a few drinks! Drew and Tamara took care of every detail during our stay and even organized a last minute shuttle service to Boquete on the last day when ours fell through. We’re extremely grateful for the hospitality and hope to come back again one day!!

Hidden Gem in the heart of Bocas!

My husband and I stayed at the bungalows last month and already can’t wait to return. The bungalows itself were amazing with so much TLC, unlike anything you’ll find in Bocas! The owners are beyond lovely and you can tell how many small touches they put into Sol. The food was exceptional. Absolute must recommend if staying in Bocas

Pure magic at Sol Bungalows! An incredible stay for our family of four.

One of the most amazing places we've stayed EVER! Drew and Tamara have thought out every single detail to ensure their guests have an unforgettable stay. The bungalows have paddle-boards, kayaks, snorkel masks and life vests (even kid-sized). Our family of four loved exploring the surrounding water and spotted coral, fish, rays, squid, and even a nurse shark. The design of the bungalows is amazing - the decor, the underwater viewing window, the outdoor shower, the padded lounge chairs, hammock, turkish towels...I could go on forever. We ate every dinner at Sol because the food and drinks were amazing, the best we had in Panama. Great variety of breakfast options, creative dinner menus, and most ingredients sourced locally. Drew and Tamara were incredible hosts, arranging day trips and transportation for us, cooking special meals just for our kids, and delivering french press coffee at our door each morning. This is the kind of place travel dreams are made of! We can't wait to return.

Don't look anywhere else! The overwater bungalow and location are the best in the islands.

The overwater bungalows are spacious and amazing! Every detail here has been well planned and thought of. Welcome drinks and a parting gift, water taxis and tours arranged for you. The breakfast and dinner is amazing! The veggies and fruit comes from their local garden or someone's nearby. Coffee can be delivered to your bungalow early at request. The rooms came with snorkel gear, floats for the water, towels for the beach and umbrellas. The bed and pillows were soft and comfy. There are ceiling fans and screen windows and doors for airflow. The staff and hosts are fantastic!

Everything we experienced was exceptional.

Fabulous relaxing trip in Bocas

The bungalow was beautiful and well-appointed. Breakfast was fabulous. The dinner was also great. The best part was the hosts and the staff. The owners are definitely vested in the community and giving back, which was amazing to see! Loved this property and would highly recommend it!

Hidden gem in Carenero ...Bocas del Toro

Hidden gem. A new venture in hospitality on Bocas del Toro. Breath-taking views, total relaxation over turquoise waters. Excellent food mixing local ingredients and haute cuisine techniques. Extreme care on details, ecofriendly toilet amenities. A perfect place for romance, for a escapade with friends or to be relaxed with your family! Last but not least...overwater bungalows are creating their own reef in an area of transition near to mangroves. A good project well managed from heart by vibrant souls trying to support local communities and promote respect to local environment. Chapeau!!!

There is a little bit of boats traffic in front of bungalows...meaning...sometimes it is a little bit challenging to swimming away bungalows...

Drew, Tamara, and their staff have made Sol Bungalows one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in!

Everything was awesome! The food, location, staff, and cleanliness. No better place to stay in all of Bocas hands down! You will fall in love as soon as you get there.

Not one thing! Honestly there was nothing that I didn’t like.

Sol Bungalows = The Best

Breakfast Sandwich is hands down the BEST I've EVER had. The chinmichurri is also the BEST I've EVER had. The dinners are awesome. Yuca balls, Mahi Mahi Ceviche, Seared Tuna with risotto, Pumpkin soup (Believe me it's not what you think),& Jack Fruit with Quinoa. The place hands down exceeded all expectations. We will be back! This was a bucket list thing to stay at an overwater bungalow and Tamara and Drew knocked this one out of the park. I recommend anyone who is reading this to go and check it out for yourself.
