This was a nice spacious cabin that had a warm cozy atmosphere. King Bed was very comfy (always a plus when traveling) and we truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday in the cabin.

Loved all the bear and wildlife items throughout the home. The king size bed is the largest king size bed I have ever slept in. It was huge and very comfortable. They even included steps so us elderly folks could get in to it. Our host was very responsive and friendly, I highly recommend this home. Large yard also

The Cabin is well located with easy access to eateries and necessities. The Property Manager is EXTREMELY helpful and PROFESSIONAL! My partner as well as I are germaphobes, and it was pleasant to see the place was in top cleanliness condition. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking for a nice quiet stay in the mountains and its not too far from a few hiking trails with beautiful views!!

This cabin is exactly as advertised, extremely clean, nicely furnished not overly decorated, so there was room for us to relax without bumping into art. The kitchen was nicely appointed, everything we needed. The owner was terrific.
Full size washer & dryer was a plus, the bedrooms are roomy and beds comfortable

House was clean and very well maintained. Convenient to everything.
Jane was very helpful when we had questions. We will stay again.

Beautiful cabin in a nice location. Nice creek right next to the cabin. Very clean. The only negative is a kennel nearby and dogs barking a good part of the stay.

The cabin was very nice. I would have liked to have had at least one walking trail.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in your cabin. It is in a great location and central to all sorts of places to visit. I highly recommend and we are already planning our next trip!

That gated community located in a different area would be five star. The neighbors across the main roadway had barking dogs, racing cars and motorcycles all times of the day and early evening, that was the only negative I can give you other than that a wonderful cabin and stay

The Cabin was exactly as advertised. The Creek sounds added to the ambiance and gave us a place to explore. My wife fell in love with the area and the cabin in particular. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to look for our own little piece of heaven.

When you live in Florida, Spring Break is for other people. So we took our grandson to the mountains. Who needs a beach when you have a mountain stream outside your cabin? It was cold and that's a break from Florida! It snowed - the first time our 12 year old grandson saw snow falling. The cabin was welcoming warm, and cozy. There was room to spread out, and we relaxed by the fire after a day of traffic in the park. I'd recommend this cabin to anyone with kids who love to play outside and for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Rushing Bear cabin is a very cozy and relaxing place to stay. Very convenient to the main road, it’s about a mile up the mountain. The gas fireplace was wonderful to have as the temperature was still cold at night. The stream runs next to the cabin and it’s the perfect sound for relaxing while sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. It was a wonderful getaway from the daily city life hubbub. It made for a relaxing Spring Break for this teacher!

This cabin was amazing, so happy I treated myself to this. Location was perfect for our adventures in the Smokey mountain park. Perfect ending each day with the fireplace. Cute little mountain creek out back. Perfectly decorated for its location. Beds are super comfortable with nice warm bedding for the cool nights. Breakfast is a must at Joey's Pancake house down the street. Will definitely return here. ❤️

We stayed 6 days. Cabin is located in a gated community. Although most homes seemed empty, and very close to each other, we felt safe and snuggled in. Cabin is very cozy. It has electric fire place which we used everyday. The deck is gorgeous with excellent outside space. The only criticism I have is there was no TV in upstairs area/bedroom and the
television in master was very small and hard to see where it was located. Also there is no trash service. We had to take our bags of trash to a recycling place to dispose of it. Luckily it was just my husband and I and we didn't have to go everyday, but for a larger group, I can see that being an issue, I didn't like having bags of trash in my car. Having said that I would totally stay here again. Jane was very quick to respond and the Cabin was wonderful!

This cabin was great for our weekend in the Smokies. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was in a great location, easily accessible to all the Smokies have to offer. The peacefulness of the creek was an added bonus. We will definitely consider this location for future trips.

It's very comfortable to be there.

Very relaxing stay in a cozy cabin.. everything looked just like the pictures, but it is a small community of cabins that aren’t too close to each other, but close enough if you wanted a huge amount of open space then it’s probably not the place for you. The internet went out our first night, and Jane was immediately on the phone with Spectrum getting it fixed. She replied to any messages right away. Very clean property and our dogs enjoyed splashing around in the creek.

This cabin was nestled in a gated neighborhood. Easy drive to town for a great breakfast or dinner. Located so very close to travel options in other towns. Definitely would pick this cabin again for a gun getaway weekend.

The only think that could have made it better is if it had snowed.

My family and I enjoyed the cabin. It was very clean and cozy. The fire place was amazing as we are from Florida and aren't used to cold weather. Spacious cabin for it size. The kids loved the loft area and being able to wander down by the creek. The king sized bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Cabin is in a gated neighborhood but it is very private and beautiful mountain view from every window. Offers perfect amount of space to come together in the living and dining room, well stocked kitchen for cooking while still being part of the activities and 2 cozy bedrooms. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen or firepit, but hope to go back and stay longer so we can enjoy all the amenities. Very clean, with nice mountain decor throughout. Property manager made sure we had everything we needed (gate code, key box code and general fyi's) before we arrived and was readily available. Highly recommend!

Great house and location for our annual NC winter trip. Nice enough to enjoy fire pit and great space and 2 bathrooms huge plus!! Clean and well maintained sleeps at least 5 in beds and was very easy to get to,

Everything was nice and clean, cabin was very easy to find and in a great location everything from eating and shopping was just minutes away. The only thing I have to complain about would be the outside firepit area could use some cleaning up and reworking. The wood is rotting on the ground, the stone steps have lots of algae growing which makes them slickand makes it dangerous to walk around not to mention hard to get 3 chairs around the firepit. Needs more lighting around the outside firepit very dark at night but aside from that we enjoyed the fires and the outdoor time.

1. Barking dogs all day and all night - a kennel across the street. We were not able to enjoy the creek and the deck due to issue with the dogs. The dogs are so loud you can hear them in the house. Reported to property management and was told to call the police. The management contact stated when we reported the issue that barking issue is an on going fight.
2. Images on the website shows items that belong to the hoa. A little misleading. Cabin was very nice and adequate for our stay.
3. Houses are close together, which are not seen in the photos. Of course we visited when all of the trees had no leave.
4. Issues with trash, wood pit not clean and dog poop not picked up. Property management did finally clean up the place about two days before we left. They did try to come earlier but there was issues with the maintenance teams vehicle. The house was very clean inside besides the fews issues outside.
5. Positive- we had visitors from the local elk herd several times in the morning. Wifi was great - we had several family members that required this feature for work. No issues during the storms as well. The drive in and out was great and convenient to the Main Street.
Once the barking is fixed the cabin would be great place to stay and would received higher ratings. The property management was very prompt at responding to all of the issues even when they were out of the country- this impressed us.

It is a wonderful cabin in a terrific location. The cabin is nicely furnished and very clean. It is very close to many restaurants, sightseeing activities and the Blue Ridge Parkway..
We had one issue we needed the owner’s help with and Jane was very responsive. She is the type of owner you want to rent from.

Beautiful Cabin for our Vacation in Maggie Valley
We stayed in this beautiful cabin for 3 nights while in the Maggie Valley area. It is an easy short distance into town, which is exactly what we wanted. There is a creek running thru the property that made for wonderful background noise! We would stay here again and everything was as described and the landlord was very responsive to my questions.
