About this cabin rental

Nestled in Fayetteville, this lovely cabin for $828 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. After an adventurous day of rafting, hiking, climbing or skiing, we have a spacious, open home where you can relax in the woods! The New River Gorge Preserve is a private, gated community tucked in the forest, full of trails and overlooks, just minutes from downtown Fayetteville. Our home was completed in the summer of 2020 and has 3500 square feet with an open floor plan to accommodate large groups or families. A matching tree house with rock-climbing wall and swing sit in backyard. A fire pit with string lights sits on the side of the house. I do my best to make sure there is always fire wood. A huge wrap-around porch is the perfect place to relax, eat or use it as a race track on rainy days (like my kids do). A new electric vehicle (EV) charging station allows you to have a full charge for your drive home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all kitchen utensils, appliances, a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Coffee and (10) k-cups supplied. Each bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispensers. A closet near the dining room includes: a high chair, booster seat, hiking carrier, pack n play, sound machine, blow-up mattress, baby gate and bed bumpers. Bedroom #1: queen bed on 1st floor with en suite full bathroom Bedroom #2: master with king bed and en suite full bathroom and jacuzzi Bedroom #2.5: bunk bed in master closet Bedroom #3: “Jack” has queen bed and connecting full bathroom with Jill Bedroom #4: “Jill” has two bunk beds (4 single beds) Office: lounge chair folds out to a small bed for someone 5’ 7” or shorter. Also, perfect spot for a pack n play.

This was the perfect property for our growing family. The location was beautiful and the inside of the house was just as beautiful as the outside. We did the bridge walk and went on a few hikes. Pretty views were endless!

Very spacious, there were 8 in total that stayed here. We had 1 toddler and he was easy to keep track of due to the open floor plan. The kitchen area was fantastic it had the cook top on the island so that we could all talk and interact while we were fixing meals. The owner of the property must be a photographer as there were many pictures hanging on the walls of scenery in the area that were just breathtaking. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here.

We had a wonderful stay in this new, beautiful, spacious cabin home in a nice neighborhood very convenient to town. Pictures are accurate and beds are comfortable. Open floor plan with large kitchen and 2-story great room gives the house a bright roomy feel while still woodsy. Three bedrooms are upstairs and one bedroom is on the main floor. Fire pit was really nice with a stock of cut wood on site. We didn't have kids with us but it is fully stocked for adults and families also. We would recommend this place to others and come back again ourselves.

Wow! We've rented a lot of homes over the years, and this was truly one of the best. We had plenty of room for three families with small children ranging in age from 3 to 11. The kids loved all the bunk beds, the treehouse, the large TV for watching movies, and the toys that were provided. The house was incredibly clean, the kitchen well-appointed, and the beds comfortable. While the neighborhood feels secluded, it's close to everything and only took about 10 minutes to reach a trailhead to the New River Gorge National Park. Communication with the host and the check-in/out process were easy. 10/10 would definitely rent this house again!

We met our friends here for our spring break. The property is incredibly kid friendly- the hosts have everything you need for your family. The house was immaculate and the kitchen well appointed. We met the neighbors, too, and they were very friendly (which is nice when you have rambunctious kids). The playhouse was so fun and we loved making s’mores every night. This is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. And the location was PERFECTION! You feel like you’re in the mountains and yet you’re close to everything you would want to do in New River Gorge!

This was a warm and welcoming house for our family’s Thanksgiving gathering. It was spotlessly clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Paper goods, trash bags, cleaning supplies and firewood were all available in generous quantities. The house is spacious, and we loved the family room with the large screen TV for movie nights. A short hike in the neighborhood takes you to a lovely overlook of the New River Gorge and its bridge. Julie is very quick to respond to any questions. We definitely hope to be back!

Loved everything about this property! Cool stuff for the entire family, huge porch with a great swing, tree house, firepit, stocked kitchen. Watched the sun rise over the Gorge right from the overlook in the neighborhood. I'd definitely stay again.

This was our first time renting a house and we were a little nervous. We could not have asked for a better house to make a first impression. Quiet neighborhood of upscale homes set back from each other yet close to all the trails and attractions. House was big, clean and well maintained. Our host was friendly and responsive whenever we had a question. We absolutely recommend staying here.

Clean, convenient, roomy, comfortable, and cozy! We had 8 adults. The house was perfect. Gorgeous location. House has everything you need. Beds are extremely comfortable. It was the perfect house for our family. Loved the outdoor fire pit, and neighborhood. Close to the NEW RIVER NP attractions, restaurants, shopping, and fun.

We stayed here with another family and enjoyed the cabin immensely. The location was perfect. The owner was easy to communicate with and the property was perfect for families. This was our first time in Fayetteville - the cabin had books with information on hikes and local attractions. We booked an adventure with “Adventures on the Gorge” which was five minutes up the road and they were great. We certainly lucked out with this property because of how close it was to all area attractions and how nice and spacious it was for our families.

Everyone in the family loved this trip. The house was beautiful. Fantastic place to relax inside the grand living room or outside on the wrap around porch. Personally, I loved the quiet and private location. Only a few minutes from Fayetteville and it’s world class hiking and rock climbing. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for up 13 guests. Although when we stayed we had a smaller group. WiFi was fast and the kitchen fully equipped. We even managed to put together a successful thanksgiving meal.
