When enjoying your stay at Sunset Getaway, the whole family can walk or ride our bikes to the end of the block and you're at Sunset Beach Park. Sunset Beach rest on the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Or just relax the day away, when you lay by the pool or have a cool drink under the palm tree. There's plenty of beach/pools toys and the whole family can join in a bean bag toss and pool volleyball. Rather stretch out and see the countryside? Take our bikes and visit the riding trails and beaches at nearby Howard park (1.5 miles away) or ride to our world famous Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks about 3.5 miles away and enjoy a piece of history and the local culture. You are 25 miles from Tampa International Airport, 90 minutes to the theme parks in Orlando, 45 minutes from Busch Gardens and only 28 minutes from the beautiful Clearwater Beaches. For golf lovers, the world famous Innisbrook Golf Course is only about 2.5 miles away.

This house has it ALL! We all said “Wow!”when we walked in the door. This house is SO clean and the pool and beach accessories were perfect. No detail was left undone- from well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels to bicycles and games for the family. Thanks for contributing to such a memorable family vacation!

We have stayed at lots of homes and this one was hands down the most clean and well stocked. Very relaxing out by the pool and beautiful. Nice neighborhood and great location. Tarpon Springs is a nice town with lots of options for great food and fun. Pack your bags and rent this home, you won't be disappointed.

House was very clean and kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Garage was loaded with pool toys and beach items. Walking distance to beach. My wife and I, two daughters, son in laws, grandchildren and two dogs had a great time in this house. No need to look anywhere else, book this house. Steve and Joyce were great hosts and very easy to communicate with. Look forward to visiting again.

This house had everything we were looking for and then some! The inside was beautifully decorated, comfy, warm and welcoming. Outside was a huge bonus!! From the fantastic and gorgeous pool area to the outdoor grilling area, it was more than we could have imagined. The garage was filled with everything you could ever need for a day at Sunset Beach. We are definitely planning on returning to this gem in the future!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Just over the top, this place has everything you can think of! Our family had such a great time that everyone was crazy cause they didn’t want to go home. The house felt like home!

Softball tournament
Property was great, Steve was responsive. Had a TON more of the disposables (paper towels, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper) than any other place we’ve stayed.

Nice place
The home is very nice and well-stocked for all needs. Master BR is last room to get ac so it’s quite uncomfortable. We had to use fans to survive the heat. Owner had a portable ac delivered, but no way to hook it up properly in the window, so it was useless. They have a very generous restaurant gift card for the inconvenience which was appreciated.
The area is okay. It’s a bay, not the ocean. I should have examined the map more closely. We would have stayed in Clearwater or further south had we realized.

Birthday Reunion
Spent a wonderful, relaxing birthday with family to celebrate first trip since COVID. Property was very clean, comfortable, well stocked and just a quick three block walk to Sunset Beach. Perfect vacation and hope to book this house in the future.

Relaxing and beautiful property
Sunset getaway was just what we wanted in a vacation. The beautiful home was in a quiet neighborhood near the beach with our own private heated pool. The home was thoughtfully prepared for visitors and it was like being in a spa resort of our own for the week! We loved being able to bring our pets as well and it was a beautiful area to walk around and fantastic restaurants close by.

Stayed in Tarpon Springs for basketball tournament in Tampa. Great rental. House was immaculate. Owners were awesome. Gave us a gift certificate to dinner when there was problem with dryer. I’d definitely stay again.

What a fabulous vacation!!
We love Steve and Joyce!! They are amazing hosts… They had all the amenities you could think of available at the house!!! The house is well laid out… Completely modernized… and What a fabulous pool!!! The house is located a block and a half from Sunset Beach… And spent many evenings watching the sunset!!We vacationed for three weeks… Did lots of cycling, dog walks, hiking in local parks and ate lots of Greek food!! And… We already booked next year!!

This property is very clean, very well maintained, family friendly, pet friendly, excellent neighborhood, well equipped for keeping the family busy with pool, bikes, games, etc.. On the beach, in the water, everything you need provided. Best family vacation ever. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

The property has everything that you would expect plus more! From sunscreen to coffee to coolers and beach chairs! Steve and Joyce know exactly what guests want and they delivered! We enjoyed the home and swimming ! The property was super clean & beautiful!

50 Family Celebration
Our family all came together from Texas, Colorado and Florida to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The house could not have been more perfect, it gave us plenty of room to spread out, left us wanting for nothing in terms of pool and beach accessories and games for us to enjoy our stay. First of all, Steve & Joy thought of EVERYTHING for this home. I can’t even begin to describe how thoughtful they were with stocking this home. Fully stocked kitchen, hairdryer, linens, welcome basket, beach toys galore, pool floats/toys, tons of linens and the list goes on and on. We loved the bikes they provided. And there were lots of them.. all different sizes. Having a pool onsite was amazing! Sunsets at sunset beach were absolutely breathtaking! The only downside to the sunset beach was that it was pretty much an inlet with sand. We had to drive to Clearwater for an actual “beach” experience. But we didn’t mind at all. Steve and Joyce were extremely responsive and helpful with anything we needed. My family has stayed at plenty of vacation homes and we have never had one quite this perfect! If we ever come back to Tarpon Springs we will definitely stay here again (or any of their properties)! Thanks for having us!!

Amazing property and great pool. The place was very clean and had a lot of things nearby to visit such as the small beach right nearby the house. The property also has plenty of bikes for our large family to ride to the beach. Overall great experience and great vacation.
