Welcome to the Sunflower House! On top of 20-foot posts, sits this beautiful 3 bed, 2 full bath beach house featuring an open concept living space with an incredible panoramic view of the Gulf. No need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs, the house has a private elevator. Soak up the picturesque ocean views from the living room that features vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and walkout access to a deck with unobstructed views of the turquoise water and coastline. Many outdoor seating and dining options are available as well. The walkout deck features seating. The lower deck that features dining and bar top tables along with a propane grill for barbequing allowing friends and family to spend time together making lifetime memories. The primary bedroom includes a king-sized bed with ensuite bathroom that includes dual sinks, Jacuzzi tub, and a luxurious shower. The second bedroom is spacious and features a queen bed with bench seating along with ceiling fan. The third bedroom is uniquely designed to sleep four or more guests. This room has a full/full bunk bed with twin trundle bed along with a standalone twin bed. This house is easily able to accommodate eight adults plus two children. The house is equipped with all modern amenities which includes: Wi-Fi, large screen televisions in every room, sleek black appliances in the kitchen with double oven, with on-site laundry featuring a full-size washer and dryer. A private walkway to the beach is secluded by shady sea grapes. On cool nights gather by the fire pit and in the day, let your worries wash away by the beach. Swing in the sunshine or stay in the shade swaying in the oversized hammock enjoying a cool breeze. Our private long driveway allows plenty of guest parking and room to bring your boat, jet skis, kayaks and more. Set back off a two-lane road, this quiet piece of paradise has access to three beautiful public beaches and is conveniently located near restaurants, pubs, shopping centers, and mini markets. The house is within minutes of Stump Pass Park where you can trek through exploring tropical trails which lead to the beach. Firewood, kayaks, and bike rentals are readily available at local shops. The surrounding areas feature unlimited outdoor activities such as golfing, boating, fishing, jet skiing, and much more.

We stayed 5 nights over the week of July 4th and had a great time watching fireworks on the beach and enjoying a relaxing vacation. The Sunflower house was the perfect house to stay in as it came with all the beach necessities and more. It was equipped with everything you would need for a week at the beach.

The property is excellent, boasting spectacular views from the den and kitchen. The house is extremely well stocked with kitchenware, linens, and all beach items you might need. There are several shaded outdoor areas downstairs including a large dining area and grill and an upper deck with comfortable, padded furniture where you can sit and enjoy the breeze and scenery. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and hope to return.

Lovely house worked perfect for our family of 7. Easy access to the beach. Cean house, beautiful decor with all the amenities. Walking distance to restaurants and a few stores. Will definitely consider staying here again.

What an amazing property! The check in instructions were so easy and once we got in the house had everything we needed! The kitchen had was fully stocked and we had everything we needed to enjoy the beach! The views of the sunset from the balcony and living room were breathtaking!

The pics in the listing doesn’t do it justice. The panoramic view of the ocean from the living room makes the entire trip!
My husband and I took our young adult daughter and a few of her friends here for her birthday. They absolutely loved it. The room with all the beds made it nice for them to all sleep in the same room. Check-in was a breeze, and checking out was just as easy. Our family cannot wait to come back to the Sunflower house. It was everything we wanted and so much more!!

The home's location just lends itself to the fun had by the family. This is our second stay and it was as good as the first time. Mary and Debbie are helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

That’s about it. My family and I aren’t sure how this listing has garnered a 4.9/5 rating: it’s your typical herd ‘em in, herd ‘em out cash cow rental owned by some hands-off millionaire and overseen by a local property manager. The pictures in the listing are a bit deceiving as the house isn’t as large as we expected. The living room furniture is visibly dirty. The upstairs patio furniture is pitiful and needs replaced as the chairs are very rusted and the umbrella is broken. The beach chairs are also rusted and disgusting, stained with mold and suntan lotion oil. We experienced several issues with broken appliances during our stay: The dryer worked for the first day but then wouldn’t start for the rest of our stay leaving us to hang our stuff out to dry on the upstairs patio. The washer water level adjustment knob doesn't work. And you have to unplug and plug back in the microwave to use it because it doesn't register when the door is closed, so it thinks it's still open and won't continue heating. So the washer, dryer and microwave all need replaced. The water runs occasionally on both toilets. The shower curtain in the master bath is moldy and hangs 6” too low. Oh, and don’t run any hot water before bed or you’ll have a hell of a time falling asleep: the pipes throughout the house make loud ticking, popping, and cracking sounds after the hot water gets running. The beach is beautiful and great for shelling, the mattresses were comfortable and Mary responded quickly to all of my text messages, but the bottom line is for almost $500/night, we were extremely disappointed and unfortunately have no plans to return.

Fortieth Anniversary Staycation
Beautiful, comfortable beachfront house with incredible views. The beach is great, lots of big shells! Well equipped, comfy beds, lots of indoor seating. The only disappointment was the seating on the balcony. Instead of outdoor table and chairs as pictured in VRBO, there was a mismatched collection of patio chairs and pads, not in the best of shape, and no umbrella or shade structure out there. Not a deal breaker, but would have been a great feature.

Beautiful house and location
This was our first time to Manasota Key, and we didn’t know what to expect. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect! We had a little trouble with the door code but the property manager Debbie was very quick to respond and very helpful. This property is great and I would highly recommend it again

Beautiful Beach House
My family and I LOVED our stay at the Sunflower. The house was clean and well organized. Having the beach just steps away was very convenient. The beach wasn’t crowded at all and we enjoyed playing beach games each day. We also had gorgeous weather all week. The owners/managers were very helpful and quick to respond if we had questions. Thanks for a great week! We will definitely be back!

Relaxation and Restfulness Right on the Beach
The Sunflower is a great place to spend a few relaxing days as the sound of the waves hitting the shore really sets the tone. Then, looking out over the shoreline trees, you look out over the endless horizon for miles. The property itself is well-maintained with interesting architectural details, particularly in the main room. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped and easy to cook in, which our group did for most of our meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the renovated master bath in particular was great. Additionally, we noticed and appreciated little touches like USB-enabled outlets in the bedrooms.
Proximity to the beach couldn't be easier, consisting of a quick stroll under the canopy and walk down to the water. The closeness of a nearby park -- about a 5 - 7 minute stroll down the beach -- afforded access to daily morning yoga as well as a sunset meditation. And even more immediately engaging was the obsessive search for shark teeth on the beach! Access to restaurants and grocery stores was an easy drive across the bridge which makes life convenient but also keeps civilization a little bit at bay, which is a good thing on vacation.
Finally, Gina and Debbie were very responsive to all questions, both critical and mundane.
I would highly recommend that anyone looking to get some time away in a relaxing location consider staying at the Sunflower!

Great House on the Beach with Amazing Sunsets
The Sunflower is a wonderful house right on the beach. The sunsets are amazing, and the house is very nice. Large bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Open kitchen with spacious great room and large dining area. Lots of room for everyone in my family, and so easy to get to the beach. A very lovely place to stay!

Best Beach Week Ever!!!
My family has stayed in numerous beach houses all over Florida but this was by far the best one yet. The house was perfect in every way....clean and comfortable... and the access to the beach itself was so convenient . We can hopefully return next year.

Great sibling vacation
We had a wonderful siblings vacation at the Sunflower property! The property is more beautiful than the online photos. It was perfect layout for everyone to be together when desired and to be alone as needed. We really appreciated the elevator and used it regularly. The sandy, hilly path to the ocean was rough for one of us, but we were able to access the wooden path next door. We enjoyed frequent walks on the beach, beautiful sunsets and close access to tasty food! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
