We loved our stay at the Beach House! Denise the property owner was great with communication from the time of booking to the time we left, very responsive! The house was much larger than we were expecting but loved how it was a quite oasis away from all the action. Beach and pier is a short car ride away. We stayed a week and would def stay again.

This property is brand new with split heating/cooling system which was welcome with the hot weather. Commodious fridge, tvs in every room. Location to Portland is excellent as well as to Pine Point Beach and Ferry Beach. Close to large grocery store. Lots of outlets and easy wifi. Owner was very responsive and hospitable. Great experience.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Denise and Bernard’s beach house. Everything about this house is a dream - it is clean, bright, spacious, and so impressively well stocked with just about everything. The house is also nestled in a nice quiet neighborhood while being centrally located to beautiful beaches all along the southern coast and even to Portland if you are in the mood for some city vibes. Not to mention, easy access to grocery and restaurants. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation in Maine. Many thanks to Denise and Bernard for being exceptional hosts!

We loved our stay at the Beach House! The property owners were great with communication from the time of booking to the time we left, very responsive! The house was much larger than we were expecting and it was the perfect size for two families of four. As side from the queen beds in every room it was a nice touch to have fold down couches for the kids to sleep on! The kitchen had all the essentials including cups and plates for children which we found very helpful during meal time! We enjoyed the sun on the front porch as well as the large deck out back! You can't find a better home this close to all the amenities OOB has to offer, with a pool and across the street from the trolley stop! Thank you again for such a wonderful week!

After a long trek from Western PA we arrived at Denise and Bernard’s beautiful house. Everything from the outside to the inside suited our family of four. We have rented multiple houses on VRBO before for summer vacation. At each previous house we needed to bring linens or towels or dish soap or whatever. Not for this house. Everything you needed was provided, was fresh, clean, and thoughtful. In the haste of our departure I forgot my toothbrush. In the linen closet of the master bath was a basket full of items one might forget, including toothbrushes. Communicating with Denise and Bernard was simple via the VRBO inbox chat. Both are responsive, helpful, and timely with their reply. The community was quiet and a short drive (1 mile) to our favorite beach, Ocean Park. The quiet of the community, the convenience to all attractions and the beach, the community pool, and the beautiful home are truly a perfect place for a family vacation intended to reconnect the family unit. And if rain should spoil a beach day there are plenty of books and games already in the house. And each room has its own television with Roku access to the homeowners accounts for Disney Plus and the like. Too late for a short and simple review. If Maine is ever in our summer vacation travels again we will surely stay at this house. Short drives to all of southern coastal Maine’s towns (Portland, Freeport, Kennebunkport, Kittery). Thank you Denise and Bernard for helping reconnect our busy family. We have made many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.

We spent a relaxing two weeks at the property. The home was well maintained and stocked for our stay. We really enjoyed the access to the pool. Neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. We would rent again.

The house is beautiful and had beach toys and toys for the girls as well as the owners left bubbles for each of them. Super thoughtful. Pool in complex and old orchard beach amenities a short drive away! Definitely would stay here again if in the area!

The house was very nice and the owners said we may see a little construction going on but never to the extreme of what we dealt with. We drove 9 hours to arrive there on Saturday and we’re woke up on Sunday at 7:30 am to the construction workers putting a roof on diagonally to the house we rented. Construction also went on at the 2 houses next door to us all week. We could never put my grandson down for a nap because of the noise. One day at nap time a forklift spent 2 hours placing the front steps on the house right next door. You looked out the front window at a huge pile of dirt that they would burn something in and with a bulldozer move the dirt around. Everyday we had to wait for construction vehicles to move to get in and out of the development. It rained a couple times and there is a serious drainage problem in front of the house and we had to take our shoes off to get thru 3 inches of water to get to our parked cars and pack up to go home. Also I imagine the building contributed to a ant problem inside the house. We killed many large ants. I feel the owners had no right renting the property now with the development in such upheaval. Very disappointing. I have several pictures I would like to send Vrbo and the owners to pack up this review Barbara

This family trip was to celebrate a milestone birthday and we couldn't have asked for more! When we opened the front door, I was amazed to see that the Denise and Bernard had put up a "Happy Birthday" sign and there was a birthday hat, horns and sparkling cider on the island. What a lovely gesture! The weather was perfect, the beach house was perfect and the hosts were perfect. The only thing that would have made it better was if the pool had been completed. However, Denise and Bernard went above and beyond to accommodate for the inconvenience and left us some gift certificates and goodies. We would definitely stay love to stay here again!

Denise and Bernard have been meticulous in providing everything one might need (first-aid kits, any/all kitchen/entertaining ware you might need, and even books and games for all ages). The house is bright and beautiful and I really loved pointing out all the pops of teal to my husband, who evidently didn’t notice. For any runners out there, I got in several 3-7 mile runs from the house and always managed to hit the beach, no matter which direction I chose. My family of four has spent the week of July 4th in Maine every year since my 9 year old son was born. We missed last year because of the pandemic and we were so, so thrilled to be back. It was our first lengthy trip in Southern Maine and, as MA residents who can easily venture back for shorter trips, we are super excited to add the favorite spots we’ve discovered to our repertoire!!
