Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the owner of the vehicle. - Fireworks, wood firepits, and charcoal barbecues are strictly prohibited. - During inclement winter weather either 4WD and snow tires, or 2WD and chains are required to access this unit. All guests must move all vehicles within 24 hours of a snowstorm. The Tramway Market is a very short drive away and is open every day for your essential food, beverage, and firewood needs. The Tahoe Treetop Escape is located a few miles from South Lake Tahoe and all the activities the area offers. There are countless shopping and dining options in the South Lake Tahoe area open year-round, including restaurants that offer outdoor seating with firepits and live music. Check out the Tahoe South website for a list of this summer’s outdoor concerts and other activities. And of course, multiple sand beaches on the crystal-clear Lake Tahoe are nearby as well. A stop on its route is conveniently located right next to the parking area, so all you need to do is check the schedule for Tahoe Transportation District Route 22 to confirm your departure and be on your way! Things to Know Between the parking lot and the entry to the property, you will need to use approximately 25 stairs. The US Forest Service encourages, but does not require, any wood you wish to burn in the wood-burning stove to be purchased locally. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
