The place is clean and comfortable. Excellent beds and a spacious kitchen. Small things made it not quite perfect. I commented about these to the owner before this post, but his response was to put the issues in the review. The listing says laundry is available. There is a washing machine but the hanger is broken so it sounds like an aircraft engine during the spin cycles. Couldn't stand it so got my clothes wet and full of soap, but didn't finish out of consideration for everyone else in the building. Either fix the machine or take that feature out of the listing. Deadbolt does not line up so cannot be used. Felt less safe with only the flimsy door lock. Needs more ways to plug things in. One floor lamp in the living room doesn't even have an outlet. Everyone wants to recharge a phone, computer, whatever. As an older house (with great character) it is hard to have more outlets. But there has to be a way to provide extension cords that are safe that offer more options. There is only a couch and one office chair to sit on in the living room. Three people were happy, really only two because the office chair wasn't comfortable for long term sitting. The rest of us were not comfortable. Add side chairs. The rest is housekeeping things: only one K-cup so only one of us was happy in the morning because she got the only coffee. Would prefer a large coffee maker to make a full pot to share. Or refillable K-cup option so we could use our own coffee. Nest system that controls the heat/air is programmed to condition down to 60 degrees during the night. Either re program or leave instructions to override. At 2 am, when freezing, I wasn't ready to go online to figure it out. It really is a nice place. Yes, the street is busy, but the rooms at the back of the house didn't hear the noise. And the person in the front room ran a fan and was fine. The beds are super comfortable. The water pressure was good, water hot, and the soap and shampoo options were handy and good quality. I just was really out of luck with the washing machine issue. I actually ran out of clean clothes by the end of my vacation because I had planned this as the stop to take care of laundry.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a front door that was chipped, weeds around the entire front yard. Upon entering the home, at first glance it looked nice and well-kept. But when my oldest son who is all of 140 pounds sat in the chair, it tipped sideways. I read on a prior review that it was broken and has been for a while. My husband decided to go outside in the backyard and just sit and enjoy. Cannot. The backyard was extremely unkept and not usable . We tried to tell the owner, he said we were the only people that I’ve complained about this. I don’t see how that is so. I would not recommend this to anyone traveling. Tried to work this out amicably with the owner, we thought we should receive some compensation. He refused. The description of this place did not match our experience. I’m telling all of those visiting the Denver/Littleton area to look for different places to stay.

I’ll start with the pros: -Property is well updated. -King size memory foam beds are VERY comfortable in all bedrooms. -property manager was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. -Television was nice, Disney+, Netflix and internet tv included which was very nice for giving the kids some down time -good size kitchen, nicely updated Safety issues: -No smoke detectors in the entire house. -The deadbolt to the front door did not work. -only a simple doorknob lock separating you and the downstairs tenants -The front yard is a very busy Main Street. Traffic all hours of the day. Cons: -Upon our arrival, we got there, the indoor rug had a literal pile of dirt under it. Initially made me question how deep cleaned the rest of the unit was. -Not a lot of sitting room in living room. There was one 3 seater couch and one (broken) arm chair. However, the property manager stated that they were going to order a new chair after we told them so hopefully that will be replaced by the time someone else books -The Nest Thermostat changed during our stay by itself, once to 78 degrees and once to 60 degrees. The thermostat for the upstairs unit is also the thermostat for the the unit downstairs. We were contacted during our stay to accommodate the downstairs tenants. -The street out front is extremely busy and loud. You could hear traffic all throughout the day and night. -There is a backyard, but it is unusable, just a gravel yard. -We were contacted by the downstairs tenants due to our children being too loud so we felt that we did not have the freedom to let our kids play freely. Hopefully, these issues are taken care of for your stay!
