About this cottage rental

Situated in Oakland, this attractive cottage for $312 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. If you and your family enjoy relaxing by the fire next to the water watching the fish jumping the eagles soaring and wonderful sunsets this is the place for you. You can enjoy fishing from the dock or one of the boats for some of the ponds many fish. There is a public boat launch in the cove and we have a boat mooring at the camp. We allow more than four guests overnight for a fee of $40 per person per night up to six people total in the camp. We allow a maximum of two dogs with a fee of $35 per night per dog. We will charge a fee of $100 if pets are not paid for up front the regular pet fee. East pond his part of the Belgrade lakes chain and has a maximum depth of 27 feet it is 1,717 acres large and has 13.9 mi of shoreline for fishing and exploring. The camp will be closed from mid October to April 1st

The picture you show was the owners 1st property and we could not access the property with my elderly family. When I called the owner, he offered me a second option of another property. That is the property I rated. It was very kind of the owner to accomodate us. It was a lit more driving than we intended but the accommodstions were much better for us.

The main bed was horribly uncomfortable. It seemed like a very old mattress. The location and views of the lake were fantastic.

Stay here if you want great views, loons, eagles, and great fire pit at waters edge. No one els e on the pond! Great swimming for our dog too!

This was a weekend getaway for us and our dog. We absolutely loved it. The location is perfect. The house was the perfect setup and size for us. The lake frontage was amazing and the lake was perfectly clear and the water was a great temperature. The deck had a gate which was perfect for our dog but would work so well for keeping little ones in sight. We are already planning on coming back next summer for a longer stay!

We spent three very enjoyable nights at this cabin right on the water. It was very well equipped and we were out on the lake every day with the canoe and kayaks. Heard loons every night and enjoyed the peaceful lake views. We will definitely be back.

My husband, my daughter, family doggie, and I had a great time. The lake is beautiful with clean warm water. Gorgeous view from the leaving room and deck. Enjoyed front seats for the fireworks on the 4th! Would be nice to have a more stable table on the deck (the folding one is very flimsy). My family loved kayaking but only one kayak was in a good shape. Suggest switching places for toilet and washing machine. This will eliminate complains about toilet. Overall we enjoyed our stay and lobster rolls aplenty!

The property was located on the East Pond with beautiful views of the lake. It was a spectacular week with the autumn leaves at peak. The cabin was a bit rustic. We weren't expecting the bathroom facilities to be so small and a bit of an inconvenience getting in and out of and the mattress was very old and uncomfortable. The host provided us with everything we needed for our stay.

Wonderful setting!! Beautiful views! My only complaints are : where is heating? ? I was cold most of the time. And the toilet closet. Dreadful. Inspite of this we had a wonderful time.

Stayed here while my daughter competed in the Downeast Medal Trials in Skowhegan, only 20 minutes away on quiet roads. Lovely 3, season, old school rental with amazing lake views. Beautiful outdoor spaces to relax by the lake & have nightly campfires. Wifi great & stocked with all the little things you need, but don't want to pack for the kitchen.

This place is amazing for a summer get away!!!! Steps from the pond (which feels more like a lake because it’s so big) with a beautiful view. Perfect place to reset and relax. I will 100% be coming again next year - my family or 4 loved this place. Grocery store is just 10 mins away. Everything you need for cooking is in the house. Beds are comfy too!!!! Loved it thank You Jason!

Very clean and well stocked, owner very helpful and easy to reach with question. Beautiful location on the pond, enjoyed use of canoe and sitting by the pond. The only issue, mattresses not too comfortable. Enjoyed our stay

The lake is beautiful and this particular spot is very nice. Great swimming. Lots of warmwater fish. The camp itself is very rough. Lots of spiders and ants. Lots of dead bugs in windows. Bedding is ancient. Bathroom is really too small.

We absolutely loved our stay! The dock, fire pit, canoe, grill, and view made the experience so lovely. We had some cloudy days, which was great, but caught an epic sunset on our last night and we were totally blown away. We will definitely come back! We can't wait.

We enjoyed our three night stay at this camp. Dry firewood provided for camp fires, little sandy area for swimming, dock to keep our boat ready for fishing and the sun sets to the right across the pond. Bass, white perch and sunfish were fun to catch. Our two dogs loved the stay and swimming. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating.
