Great location to walk to downtown Fayetteville and only minutes from New River Gorge activities. Space was more than big enough for our family of 4. Communication was great and house was very clean and welcoming.

It is one of my favorite homes to stay in. Great vibe, very comfortable, fantastic location for all there is to do in and around New River Gorge.

Cozy Cottage was a perfect weekend getaway! My family and I loved hiking the New River Gorge. Cozy Cottage was such a great location within walking distance from shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Our host was incredibly helpful with everything and went above and beyond. We would definitely highly recommend!

Nice house. We needed supplies while we were there and the host responded immediately to take care of us. Located on a fairly busy street, but very quiet in the house. We had a great stay.

Super convenient to all that you need, enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning. location is quiet. Very well equipped, bed was comfortable all in all the house has a neat "vibe" to it, would recommend to friends family and anyone else. Thanks Wendy!!

The cottage is spacious, comfortable, well appointed and in a great location to enjoy everything New River Gorge has to offer. It's a short walk to downtown Fayetteville for dining and a short drive to everything else

We enjoyed the area, came back to a beautiful place...cooked great meals in a kitchen that had everything we needed. The fire pit was certainly a nonus. Parking and instructions to home was right on. Very convenient to all the attractions. The home suppied everything we could ask for. Comfortable bed, living area, TV and plenty of family fun games.

We enjoyed the convenient location with easy access to New River Gorge National Park. The house was comfortable, cozy and well stocked and the little downtown area was easily accessible offering a few local restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the cooly decorated, front porch. Hosts were super communicative and helpful.

House was great and so cute. Had everything you’d need and more. Absolutely perfect location to everything around. Hosts went above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend more!

We had 6 people going white water rafting for the weekend, and stayed here. It was was fantastic, clean and lots to enjoy in the house. We will definitely stay here again!

The location was great! Close to everything. VRBO was clean and provided everything we needed. Fun decor. We spent mornings on the awesome deck with our coffee and evenings there with our adult beverages.

We loved staying at the Cozy Cottage. It is in a great location to all sorts of outdoor activites and near downtown Fayetteville. It has so many cute, personal touches and is very comfortable. The host, Wendy, is friendly and easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay here again when I come bcak to the area

Pre-arrival instructions were very helpful, especially detail about the fact that the driveway entrance is on a different street than the home's address. The house was spotless and the decor and extra touches made for a wonderful stay. I would just recommend that the house description provide a little more info and accuracy for the converted attic bedroom. The ceiling in the entire attic is no more than 5 feet high. As with any attic, it is much warmer up there than the rest of the house and while we didn't need to use it...no one in our party would have been happy to sleep up there with the warm weather we had. Also description says it has 3 twins, but there is actually a very nice queen size bed up there that would have been appealing if not for the heat. Lastly you have to walk through the bedroom with the one single bed to get into the attic. But overall still a 5-star rated house for me.

We had a great time with 5 guests here. Fayetteville is the perfect spot to climb, hike, and explore the outdoors and the Cozy Cottage gave us great access to all the major spots. Conveniently located walking distance from downtown Fayetteville, we were able to walk to dinner. We would all highly recommend as a place to stay.

My family and friends stayed for the Rim to River 100 mile race weekend. This is the perfect location! The house met all our needs. Multiple sleeping arrangements and everything we needed was there. The location is great! Close to nearby attractions/restaurants and right in town within walking distance of shopping. The home was comfortable and cozy. We loved Yardzee and spent evenings together playing games/cards after our busy days. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a place that was close to downtown Fayetteville, hiking and the whitewater location, this was the perfect place! The cottage was so cozy for the 6 of us that stayed to celebrate two 50th birthdays we enjoyed being able to walk to the restaurants that were close by. We were very lucky to be there during the town’s Fourth of July celebration. There was live music, food, a parade and even frog jumping contest. During our stay we also did an all day whitewater trip, so amazing! We were about 10 minutes away from where we had to check in( we used Ace adventure- they were great). Our last day before we left we hiked Fern Creek trail… there were breathtaking views of the gauley below and the bridge. We loved all the special touches in the cottage - plenty of towels, laundry- we need it! Wendy was also very responsive as well when we reached out! We also loved sitting on the front porch and even used the on-site fire pit! Great place, we will be back again!
