Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are really worth a visit. The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about a 15-minute drive from the apartment (6 km). It is also possible to take a bus from Catania Central station that leads to the airport in approximately 20 minutes.
