I always enjoy my stay in this hotel. The front desk workers are super friendly. Amira in the restaurant was super friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast .not to forget Mohamed the housekeeping room attendant was doing his job properly.
Big thanks to everyone who works there

The location, the breakfast buffet and the Egyptian restaurant in the hotel
Very outdated furniture, only one bedside table, the TV reception was at times poor, no toiletries were provided and the room was very basic. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like 3 stars. Very expensive for what it was

Booked 6 nights here whilst travelling solo to Cairo from Australia 🇦🇺. I was extremely happy with my stay at the Safir Hotel Cairo for the following reasons;
1. Ambience - From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere in the lobby and the overall vibe is one that reflects a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Cairo’s streets that’s almost synonyms with scenes from the classic Casablanca. At times i would just sit in the cafe downstairs or the piano room in the foyer to just unwind and take in the surroundings.
2. Location - Safir is conveniently located to all the things I needed that were within in walking distance - Orange, Dokki Metro, McDonalds, Banks, Cilantro Cafe, Supermarket etc. Worked out really well for someone like myself who needed to explore.
3. Breakfast - The breakfast buffet was outstanding and so were the team that took care of it. From the chefs in the background to the staff out from (Ahmed Nasr, Marina dressed in the Santa suit etc really made sure we got everything we needed)
4. Staff - The front reception team were so helpful. Christine, Merna and Marina in Guest Relations went above and beyond. In fact, each specific group of people (i.e security, bell boys, breakfast etc) really made you feel like you were coming home each time I came back from my walkabouts and thoroughly enjoyed the banter and laughs I would have with them each day.
I was satisfied with the room and the hotel overall provided the balance between comfort and value for money. Even used the dry cleaning service here which was so efficient. Definitely would stay here again on my next trip to Cairo.

The hotel is amazing, located in a good point close to Zamalek. The breakfast was superb, really wide variety of cold and hot section. Room on 11th floor with balcony, very spacious, everyday cleaning. All the staff so polite and wiling to help! Thank you for the amazing staying!

Good buffet for the breakfast
Poor quality for the price. The hotel is old and need a serious renovation.
It is on a very noisy street.
Our rooms were old. We needed 45 minutes to get our 2 rooms. The first one, the door was blocked. The 2nd one, the window was not closing. Instead of having 2 rooms near each other as requested at booking and one week in advance, we had one room on the 8th floor and the other one on the 4th floor.
Carpets, curtains, walls etc ... are quite dirty. The bathrooms are out of age.
We didn't like at all this hotel. It was far behind our other hotels in Egypt.

Ashraf, the deputy manager was amazing, great service and attitude. Also, the 2 ladies at the reception were friendly and precise.
The young concierge still has to learn what his job is about. Not friendly nor competent
