Ants in the room all the time. Good location for Féria but not siteseeing
Good location for Féria (10-15 minute walk) but too far from old town (about a 25-30 minute walk each way or need to take the bus since there is no Uber or Bolt in town and no taxis at hotel.) I chose the hotel because it was in between Féria and old town, but closer to Féria since I planned on going there everyday and only going once into old town. However, Féria was not what I thought it was going to be. It was very clicky and for local people, not really for tourists. I was only able to eat at a restaurant once on Saturday afternoon before the opening that night. After that all the restaurants had reserved signs on all the tables all the time. The horse events had open bench seating in the sun for less than 100 people and the shaded seats were reserved. I ended up walking to both old town and Féria every day - definitely got my steps in. Horse drawn carriage rides from old town to Féria are 50€ per ride so you need 4-6 people to justify the cost. Direct (air conditioned) bus from old town to Féria was less than 2€. Hotel in a safe and quiet residential area and a 10 minute drive from the train station if you can find a taxi (very few at train station and none at hotel.) Mini fridge in room with reasonably priced water, soda and beer. Large and diverse breakfast buffet from 7:00 until 10:30 but coffee/expresso machine always had a line of people and it was not that good. Staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Cold pool with outdoor restaurant and bar. Pool towels by pool (get towel card from front desk.) Great sushi restaurant (Miss Sushi) 10 minute walk away towards Féria. Little mini-market 2 blocks away but hidden on a back street. Room had a cute little patio with table and chairs with the sun during the day (there is no shade on the patio) plus ants and mosquitoes. Make sure you go inside the Alcazar - it was wonderful.
Ants in the room all the time even with them spraying every day. All the cleaning staff carry ant spray in their carts, which says something. I was a single and they gave me a room with two twin beds. One morning I woke up and the other bed was covered in ants. Except for the ants, the room was very clean and the cleaning staff did a great job. Pool was very cold in May when it was 95F/35C outside and you wanted to get into the pool, but could not get in because it was like ice water. Very difficult to get a taxi at hotel. It took the staff 10 minutes of calling nonstop before the taxi company even answered and then the taxi took 20 minutes to get to the hotel. Yes it was Féria week, but it was a Tuesday at 2pm not the busiest time for taxis. I had allowed one hour to get to the train station which was 10 minutes away and I made it there with 4 minutes to catch my train. Very unfriendly taxi drivers. No Uber or Bolt in town and no buses from hotel to train station. It was also initially difficult to get a taxi from the train station to the hotel. Definitely not enough taxis in town.

A really good hotel for a short stay in Jerez.
Sherry Park Hotel is a lovely hotel and perfect if you wanted to stay a bit out of the centre of Jerez. It’s a 15 minute walk into the centre and all on the flat. And it is very close to the equestrian centre. the breakfast was excellent and the staff really helpful. The pool and gardens were a really place to relax after a good days walking round the city. The rooms were really well equipped and comfortable and clean. Also the hotel has free parking which is a huge bonus in Spain. Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing.
