Helpful staff, modern hotel

Room - glass front to bathroom meant my early start disturbed my partner Pool - black tiles around pool (crazy idea!) meant it was like walking on a frying pan and I burnt my feet Breakfast - cold eggs and bacon (yuk!)

The hotel is nice and staff was friendly

Our bedroom was facing the garbage bins.

Hotel well located for travelling around by car - it was on the outskirts of Aix. Great pool - essential for cooling down in the heat!

Needed to get a bus into the Centre-Ville. In the heat, it was too far to walk.

Friendly staff, lovely pool area, great bar and comfy beds.

Some of the housekeeping was sloppy, and it took 3 requests to get a light bulb changed.

Great location close to Aix (a walk or short taxi ride) with lovely pool area, comfy beds and air-con. What really made our stay exceptional though was the staff, so friendly and helpful - thank you everyone :-)

The rooms are a little bit on the small side but not really an issue when you're at the pool all day or out exploring.

Very good location - just a few minutes away from the motorway and about 25 minutes walk to get into the centre of the old town. Comfortable room. Nice pool area and sun terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Quiet hotel, easy to get to.

Room was described as a Prestige Double Room but wasn't particularly big or well equipped. No safe, no mini fridge, which in many hotels would now be in a standard room. Despite being in a cul de sac where only people coming onto it's grounds would be hotel guests, bin outside the front was over-flowing which created an unsightly first impression.

The room was clean even though at first impression it seemed to be rundown.

Location is really far from the city center, and on Sundays the usual busses are not available. It is near the highway.

As always in this hotel! Everything at the highest level! I highly recommend!

Two days and nights at this hotel, before New Year's. It's a great choice if you're traveling by car. We liked: 1. Service When booking the room, I made a special request. The hotel responded positively right away. I also requested a quiet room. They gave us one at the end of the corridor, far from the elevators, perfectly silent. The personnel is very kind and polite. 2. Free parking Easy to arrive, easy to park. When you want to visit the center of Aix it's an easy drive and there are underground car parks on every corner of the historic city center. 3. Comfortable room Ok, the hotel's interiors are not wonderful - but they don't promise you that. It seems that all French hotel chains use the same suppliers of budget furniture, so I don't expect a designer experience. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the large bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and natural light through windows that you could open to get some fresh air. You could adjust the room temperature independently. 4. Cardio gym (a bonus surprise) If you're a runner the gym is a nice bonus. I didn't notice it until the second day so only used it once. The area is not nice for running or walking so the treadmill is a better option. The gym has no weight training machines or free weights. We're not big breakfast people so did not try the buffet breakfast (was not included). We had a relaxing stay, will book this hotel again if we return to the area.

The only essential thing that was missing in the room was the safe.

easy access. Good carpark. Nice walk or stroll into town centre. Bus stop close by. Excellent shower. Hot & cold drinks available at the bar all day. Very friendly & approachable staff. Tree view (even though in a suburb). Windows when closed blocked the autoroute noise. Lifts. Room is on the small side but the measurement is stated when booking so no problem, still enough storage space, just less floor space.

No electric sockets next to bed. No tea/coffee facility in the room, not a complaint, more of a suggestion.
