The space Charming 6 bedroom cabin that mixes *magic* (gold accents, leather, velvet, massage chairs, cozy blankets, bold colors) and homey comfort ( cotton bedding, inherited furniture pieces, painted paneling, mismatched dishware). Lots of extra amenities including fire pit, hammocks, massage chairs, foosball table, arcade game, directTV, coffee/ hot chocolate/tea, bar ice maker, and special toys just for kids. Like it's literary namesake, the Burrow is on several levels. The parking is a steep looped drive that comes down from the street in one direction (4wd recommended in the winter). About 20 feet over, the top level of the house is down a short flight of stairs from the street. The upstairs has the kitchen and dining table with seating for 10+, a living room with fireplace/cozy seating/desk area, and three bedrooms (one plush king, one firm king, and two medium twins). Down the stairs you will find a game room with foosball table, comfy couch, two massage chairs, and wet bar area with espresso maker. The game room leads into the den with large convertible sectional, plenty of cozy throw pillows and blankets, directTV, and wii with games. Down the hall are a hall bathroom, and 3 more bedrooms (queen, queen with ensuite, and bunked twin beds.) We have beds for 12, but will sleep up to 16 (two couches plus one giant sectional in the den that can sleep 2-4, or like 8 kids) . All Bedrooms all have clean bedding, a mix of down alternative and feather down pillows, closet space, and room darkening or blackout curtains. Bed options: Upstairs Front King bed- very soft plush hybrid mattress Upstairs back king bed- firm hybrid mattress Upstairs twin beds- medium firm hybrid mattresses Downstairs hall queen bed- medium memory foam mattress Downstairs ensuite queen bed- medium pillowtop hybrid mattress Downstairs twin bunks- medium hybrid mattresses Downstairs sectional- the ottomans fit into the sofa to create a big flat "bed" area roughly the size of two queen beds pushed together. (When we use the cabin and have a big group we throw 8-10 kids on there and put on a movie.) Couch in the game room- pretty soft & comfy sofa for 1 Upstairs couch- comfy sofa for 1 Pack n Play We provide extra pillows and cozy blankets for snuggling, fresh clean towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, creamer, and sugar plus some basics for cooking like spices and random packaged foods we have left up there as emergency blizzard food (mostly for us but youre welcome to use anything). Wraparound deck. Propane BBQ grill for guest use. Downstairs there is a covered patio with faux living wall privacy screen, patio seating, a hammock, propane fire pit with Adirondack chairs, and a tie out run for dogs is out back. Double lot (parking loop takes up most of the second one). You can see your neighbors but home feels very private due to being set down below the street. Convenient location close to town. Steep driveway with parking for several vehicles. 4WD or chains recommended, or ask us where to park if you are worried about your car's abilities! We ARE strict about no parties- it's a quiet residential area so no loud music outside, especially at night as we have had complaints/police calls. We have noise monitors in each living room. These DO NOT record- they just send an alert if there is sustained loud noise like a party- normal kids yelling won't set it off (trust me my kids are loud too!) We also have one exterior noise- activated camera facing the front stairs to monitor arrivals/keep tabs on the house.

We loved our stay at the Burrow. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and had everything we needed to cook and grill. Kids loved it too, they weren't ready to leave!

The house was very welcoming and spacious.we had a big group and it accommodated us. The inside was clean and beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed. I will suggest that the outside of the property will need to tending to. Trash was all over and clutter under the steps front and back. But all in all we would recommend and would love to come back!

The house is the perfect size for a group of 10. The bedrooms are nicely furnished with comfortable bedding. The televisions worked, the kitchen is very well stocked, and the large table was great for our large group. It is pet friendly and the owners provide an outdoor dog run and water bowls. Hot tub is very clean. The outdoor area has a lot of trash around the house, the grass is overgrown, and the back sliding door sticks. Also the upstairs deck has several broken, cracked, or rotted boards. The upstairs shower did not have a shower-head. It was under the sink and we put it on ourselves. Also, the sliding shower door continuously fell off the tracks. We eventually had to wedge it with a plastic fork so we could use the upstairs shower. The shower door in the downstairs restroom hangs off the tracking. The hot and cold water on the washer is reversed. There is no air conditioner downstairs and the owner note said to open the windows at night. But most of the downstairs windows would not open and the glass of one window in a downstairs bedroom is badly cracked. During our stay, two contractors came to the house to assess the decking for an estimate. We were not notified by the owner that anyone would be coming to the house during our stay. It was not an inconvenience but would have liked to know they were legitimate contractors. It is close to town and overall was a good experience. With a few updates and more maintenance attention, it could be a 5-star stay

This property was a little "run down". Some suggestions: all the door knobs, cabinet knobs, toilet paper holders, and other fixtures need to be tightened. The window in the "twin bed" room was broken. All of the curtain rods were falling down (again-they needed to be tightened into the walls) and we had to hang them up several times. The dumpster across the street was overflowing with trash and some had blown into the yard and the porch of the house. We saw the city trash people drive by twice but it was never picked up. Needless to say we had to haul the trash to the next dumpster, which was very inconvenient (especially with snow). I had planned on sweeping and vacuuming the floors before we left, but I could not find a broom, dustpan, or vacuum anywhere! Overall, we had a nice time with our family and the house served its purpose of accommodating us all.

The Burrows had the room we needed for our family vacation. Only suggestion would be to add wash cloths and kitchen hot pads to the inventory. The deer came up every evening to spend time with us:

This property was perfect to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. Plenty of room. Enjoyed the layout especially the two living areas. Be aware there is some uphill walking from the parking area to the front door. House host was very responsive to any questions I had.
