Nestled in Yarmouth, this attractive house for $452 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This historic cozy cottage perched on a cliff overlooking a 9 hole golf course has been in my family for 100 years. It has been a true sanctuary of relaxation and peace my whole life. I believe it to be a bit selfish if I were to keep this place to myself. A beautiful quaint cottage on an island. Washer and dryer. Plenty of beach towels to enjoy everything the island has to offer. Walking distance to the only grocery store on the island and the local watering hole.

The house was nice. We were asked to wash towels and sheets before we left. However, there were dirty towels in the washing machine. Before we left we washed all the towels, but did not have time to dry them or wash and dry the sheets due to the other laundry we had to do from the previous guests. There was dog food and water left out from previous renters, as well. We think that it was not prepared for our stay. People should be told that it is a steep walk up a hill to access the house. The house was not locked and we never received a code, so needed to keep it unlocked throughout our stay and upon our departure. Overall, the location was great and the house was very cute and quaint. A positive experience.

The cottage was perfect for my brothers and I who were spending the weekend on Chebeague. We were attending a wedding at the Inn and the cottage was a quick walk. Before view of and access to the golf course. Justin was so helpful with logistics and quick to communication. The house had a lot of the initial ammentities you need while staying on the island. Not to mention, the neighbors and community were very welcoming. Would recommend for sure.

With its rustic charm and its close proximity to the golf course and beaches, staying at Golfer’s Island will be a no-brainer the next time I come to Chebeague Island. The host was gracious enough to accommodate a last-minute rental extension, and my only regret is not staying for longer. Thanks so much!

We stayed for a wedding at the Inn and some golf, and the experience was amazing. Chebeague is beautiful and relaxing, and this property is a perfect spot for easy access to the Inn and Golf. The host was incredibly welcome and responsive, and can't wait to come back!

Charming cottage for a small family to enjoy Chebeague. It was perfect for us as Justin welcomes dogs and we are on a tennis kick and this is right across from the courts. And the inn is within walking distance for evening sunset cocktails.

I rented Justin’s house for family member attending my daughter’s wedding. Truthfully, I never saw the inside of the house. However, my family was very happy — especially with proximity to wedding festivities at the Inn. Justin was always very responsive, too.

This is a quaint cottage with all the essentials for a pleasant stay overlooking the golf course with views of the ocean. The cottage was neat and clean and would be great for individuals, couples and families. Justin was responsive to all my questions. The cottage is located close to the ferry dock.

Loved the whole experience, place was exactly as listed. Every view out the windows was beautiful, one down side though, the lack of transportation. The inn has a shuttle but if your not staying there, they won't go out of their way to pick up or drop you off at the ferry. Other than that, solid 5 stars.

My husband and I needed a few days away from home to relax and unwind but didn't want to travel very far. This place was just the ticket! Our stay was lovely. The cabin is incredibly cozy and charming & location was wonderful. Directly across from the golf course for those of you who play golf (we do!) about a 10-minute walk from the ferry and a 5-minute walk to the Inn for meals/drinks. Justin was a wonderful host! Extremely accommodating and responsive; thank you so much for everything! We can't wait to come back and stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Justin was a wonderful host. The house is absolutely perfect for a small family. Location on the island is wonderful. Justin was responsive to any needs/concerns and I would definitely stay here again. We love this island and look forward to visiting annually. We are happy to have a new house to rent that we know will meet our needs!

We enjoyed our stay on the island and will consider coming back next year. The cottage is well equipped with pots, pans, etc. if you plan to prepare a few meals during your stay. We left our car on the mainland and did not really miss it, since the cottage is located within walking distance to the market and the beach. There are two bicycles at the cottage - next time we'll take kids' bikes with us so that we can explore further areas of the island. Overall a great experience, wonderful time on the beach, and an altogether unique and quiet vacation.

Loved the old cottage charm! Directly across the street from the golf course, walking distance to sandy beaches and local restaurants. A quiet and peaceful escape! (Do recommend bringing groceries or having them delivered if you have a family...the market has limited groceries)

The cottage is adorable and welcoming . I loved the latches on the doors and the beautiful view from the living room window. The area is very peaceful and the houses have beautiful gardens. Walking is the way to get around (unless you can or remember how to ride a bike). This was fine apart from being a cruel reminder of how out of shape I am. Be aware that the small convenience store closes early, it’s expensive and carries only bare essentials. The cafe/bar/ ice cream stand has limited hours. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. There’s enough dishes, cups, mugs, and wine glasses for an army or two. Justin was very pleasant and attentive to my questions.

This is a small, charming cottage, nicely equipped. New washer/dryer that we struggled to figure out. Talked with Justin, he was going to leave more detailed instructions for future renters. Also to note, my party consisted of my husband and me, my sister and a friend, all over 50, most 60+. We did know that the 2 of the bedrooms were twin size, and size was ok. However, while the mattresses were great for younger folks, they weren't quite as comfy as us "older" folks would have preferred. Nevertheless, we had a great stay, and would stay there again.

Our family wanted a get away without the hustle of the OOB/Wells/Ogunquit beaches in mid July. Chebeague was absolutely AMAZING. Felt like you had every beach to yourself. The cabin was a perfect size for our group. Make sure you take the correct ferry!!!!

We have been coming to Chebeague for almost a decade, and luckily stumbled upon this cottage located a quarter mile from the ferry, and a half mile from The Slow Bell, local market, library, and beaches. The cottage has gorgeous views over the golf course, a great seating area with fire pit, and is well kept and clean. Justin took great care preparing the cottage for our stay, even leaving bowls and a lead for our dog. The cabin worked well for three adults and two kids; however, it is worth noting that two of the bedrooms are not fully walled in/separated, but the outdoor space was perfect for adult time after the kids went to bed. Justin was easy to communicate with and the check in/check out process is fast and simple.
