Its a very unique proposition to stay here. The staff is very friendly. They arranged for a tour guide who was very informative and joyful. The day long tours breezed by. @dalabalitours on insta is great.

Breakfast options are limited. Rooms are dim lit to create an ambience, however they make them difficult to function for tourists who return by the evening.

The villas were exceptionally clean. The location was something unusual (at least for me as a European). It was in the middle of nature, with lots of animals and beautiful plants. Be prepared for some unwanted visitors (e.g. frogs or lizards) The family was nice and did the maximum to accommodate our requests.

As said, the villas are surrounded by wildlife. To keep the insects out of them, the owners are cleaning the villas and derating the space with some strong chemicals that have a strange odour. This is not a criticism, but rather a warning for someone who's smell sensitive.

So quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our time in this villa and with this lovely family. We arrived late because our flight was very delayed and it was nice too be welcomed warmly anyways. After climbing mont Agung, we felt really tired, so it was the perfect place to relax in the private pool and the quiet room.

The host were really good. The rooms were really spacious. If you are a nature lover, this is the best place.

The lighting could be better. When we stayed there we had a powercut situation and we had insects inside the room. A bit isolated from the Ubud area.

Almost everything was perfect! Me and my wife, along with our 1 year old son went to Bali to celebrate my wife's birthday. I managed to pull a birthday surprise for her during our stay in Tirta Jenar Villas. This family-run premise only provides 4 beautiful villas with their own private pools and we were lucky enough to get one of them. They provided birthday decorations + small cake for my wife. Staffs were really helpful, always smiling, friendly and respectful. These villas also located very near to Pura Gunung Kawi, which is a lesser known temple compared to the more touristy Pura Tirta Empul. However it was worth a visit as not many tourists came here and the temple also offers spectacular views. Privacy is well maintained inside the villa and no noisy neighbors at night, which was good for our son to get a better sleep. Credit must be given to Wayan Lanus (the owner/manager) and his daughter (I forgot her name) for what they have given us during our 2 nights stay here. Hopefully we are able to visit again in the future!

Lights were too dim or not so bright at night. Also, there was a gecko inside the toilet during our 1st night and a toad on 2nd night. However, it is understandable due to it's location in the middle of the rice paddy fields.

It was so secluded. Nature at your doorstep.

this place is perfect.

Beautiful private pool villa in the jungle watching the squirrels,birds and insects. Lovely and private with amazing view. Lovely family very welcoming and breakfast good! Would definitely recommend but need own transport to get around. Had a lovely stroll through Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple just down the road. And down to Tegallalang rice fields for dinner about 5km!!!!
