Good size room

Room had a slight unpleasant smell, probably from the carpet. Road outside is quite noisy

The staff was really friendly. They were very helpful and kind. The hotel is exactly what you would expect. It's a budget, well maintained room. The hygene is spot on and you have everything you would need.

Nothing at all

It's a bit difficult to find. The Just Sleep belongs to the Deutscher Hof Hotel, and this information should be given a bit more prominently.

It has a good location. Walking distance to restaurants and major attractions.

Note: Just Sleep is an offshoot of the Deutscher Hof and you need to tell your taxi driver this if you don't want them to be confused. Check-in and reception is in the Deutscher Hof. You can't have breakfast. (this is not an issue but you should know that it is definitely not an option as it is in some places to book breakfast when you check-in) The room was old fashioned and charming, the bathroom modern and clean. It is on a main road but not noisy. It is one minute from one end of the main pedestrianised area of Trier, and about 15 minutes walk from the Porta Nigra. It was just over 10 minutes walk to the Amphitheatre (we were there for a gig) The town Archaeologists offer walking tours around the town for EUR 8 per person, which they donate to charity, and it is very interesting indeed, if you get the chance you should take up this offer.

It wasn't clear on booking that it would not be possible to add breakfast to our stay. There is a bakery around the corner so you won't starve. It also wasn't clear that this was part of the Deutscher Hof which confused our taxi driver, we only found out because we phoned to ask how to get there.
