About this condo rental
Nestled in San Clemente, this attractive condo for $278 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Summary: Prime location in the heart of downtown San Clemente on historic Avenida Del Mar! Fantastic restaurants, bars, and boutique shopping are just steps away. The beach, the pier, and beach trail are just down the hill! Even better, the Free trolley picks up every 20 min all summer right in front of the condo. Come stay close to it all! Enjoy time with family and friends in your private back yard with your own 6-person hot tub, outdoor table tennis, television, drink fridge, grill, and fire pit. The Space: The beautiful condo has a beachy feel with all the amenities of home: quality mattresses, linens and pillows, a fully outfitted kitchen, large-screen TVs, Central Air Conditioning, music speakers, plenty of towels, and private washer/dryer. This unit is ground floor with one unit above but the whole ceiling has been sound-proofed so you can hear very little noise from above. Additionally, provide everything you would need to enjoy the area: - Free use of bicycles with helmets - Beach Towels - Beach chairs - Beach umbrella - Boogie boards - 8' soft surf board - Cooler - Wagon The condo also has: - A private hot tub - An outdoor heated shower - Gas Fire Pit - Indoor Fireplace - Desk and office chair - Ping pong table - Playstation - Board Games - Music Speaker - Multiple large screen TV's - Filtered drinking water - Softened Water for luxurious showers - Wireless Printer - Pet-friendly back yard - and More Desk and office chair are provided available for people working remotely. We also provide a Keurig coffee machine with pods, creamers and sweeteners. Come stay close to it all! The address is 253 Avenida Del Mar - look it up on a map and see its an easy walk to everything. Guest Access: Guests have full access to the condo and private access to the yard, fire pit and hot tub. One dedicated driveway parking spot is included and there is plenty of free on-street overnight parking on the cross street (Seville) and around the library and community center. We provide a map showing where it is safe to park. The Neighborhood: Avenida Del Mar is the crown jewel of San Clemente. We have at least 10 restaurants that are truly special (check yelp but Nick's, South of Nick's, Vine, Beachfire, El Ranchero, The Cellar, etc.). The farmer's market is every Sunday just across the street from the condo - perfect to stock up for the week. We have an amazing coffee shop called Bear Coast Coffee just down the hill at the pier and beach walking trail - perfect way to start the day. Lastly, we have a park right across the street for kids to play. Our location is truly special Getting Around: We are walking distance to just about everything you would need. This rental comes with bikes but there is also a free trolley that picks up in front of the condo. We also have a train station at our pier which makes for a great day trip to San Diego. We are also conveniently located about a 45min drive to Disney, 25 minutes to Lego Land, and an hour from San Diego and LA. We offer adult bikes and 20" kid bikes for free as part of the rental. Please plan to sign the waiver to get the code to unlock the bikes for use. Other Things to Note: -- The back yard is private, however, our other vacation rental unit has a balcony above so you may hear guests in that unit enjoying their balcony. I ask that you are courteous to neighbors and other guests and also respect our quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. - Up tp 3 pets can be allowed on a case by case basis with pre-approval. Due to the close proximity of neighbors, we can only take quiet, well-trained dogs less than 60lbs. a Pet fee of $20/night will apply for each approved pet. - Pet Friendly: There is a park across the street for dog-walking. Also, San Clemente has a pet-friendly beach trail and many pet-friendly restaurants. We have security cameras in common spaces only (parking areas and outside stairways) and do not have any cameras or listening devices inside our rental condos Interaction with Guests: I am here for you during your stay but our level of interaction is up to you. I'm only a phone call or text message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

Our top 3 picks...walking distance to, well, everything...even Ralphs! Farmer's Market...visited twice! Hot tub...it was cold with a chance of rain, but you wouldn't know if in the tub! Great stay!

Even in the rain, we enjoyed our stay… close walk to pretty much everything. Home was immaculate, complete with bikes and a bottle of wine. I watched the chiefs game from the jacuzzi, and walked right out into to a farmers market. Surf was firing, and sushi nearby was on point. Enjoy.

Very clean, all beach chairs, paddleboards look new and well taken care of. They had 10+ bikes to choose from. Wine, water in frigerator for guests. Rode bikes to the pier had a great time. Was here for a wedding. Every year we vacation at Newport Beach for a week, we have decided to come back here next year. Thank you for everything.

This place was perfect for us! We rented a few houses for family and friends for our daughter’s wedding. We had a bridal shower here, we got ready for the wedding here, and this house was the gathering place for dinners. The pictures and the description do not do it justice. The back yard was so spacious and fit us all perfectly. The fire pit was really nice on the cooler evenings. The bikes and beach gear were a great plus! The location is perfect! And any question we had, the owners were so quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again! It was a great place to stay! This place definitely earned its 5 star review!

Casa del Mar is the perfect place to stay if you appreciate quality, convenience, and personal attention. Cathy and Pete (hosts) were prompt and responsive in communication and personalized our experience. The amenities of Casa del Mar are top notch: comfortable beds, quality bed linens, towels, and kitchenware (pots/pans, dishes, glasses), rugs (love the rug pad in the living room!), etc. Convenient TVs throughout the home, hot tub, fire pit (love) and standing heater! Loved having access to the beach chairs (gonna get some of these for our home), boogie boards, and beach towels. Super close to beach and quaint downtown. I only wish we extended our stay one-more day to make use of the bikes!! Will definitely be back.

This property is amazing! It was clean and comfortable. They provided all the essentials....Yes! There was toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, etc. They even have a few drinks in the fridge when you arrive...and a complimentary bottle of wine. (LOL-we were too tired every evening to enjoy it...we quickly crashed in our very comfortable beds). Two weeks later, and I am still thinking about our amazing stay. You would never need to drive anywhere when you stay here, Restaurants within walking distance and the beach down the hill. It was also very peaceful. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. No hidden surprises here. This is a quality property. The owner was always available via text for the two small questions we had. THANK YOU!

We had a great time celebrating Xmas with our family at Pete & Cathy's place. They made is extra special by providing a tree and Cathy showed up with trendy cookies on Xmas eve. Communication was great. The location was awesome, close to shops and restaurants with an easy walk to the pier and beach. We had the best time!

We had a wonderful week at this property. There was a booster seat for our daughter for dining and some cars/toys that my kids loved. They had a wagon and sand toys available as well. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked perfectly even when it was 90 degrees out as did all of the appliances. The walk to the beach is uphill a bit on the way back, but we did it multiple times with no issues. Restaurants are very walkable. We would stay here again and highly recommend this property!

This was the perfect place for our family of 5. The location is perfect for shopping, dining, and the beach. The house was stocked and comfortable. The small yard is perfect with a fire pit, tv, lounging chairs, ping pong table, and hot tub. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. We would stay here again, for sure!

What a wonderful place. Pete and Cathy were the perfect hosts and were super fast in replying to our questions. The location couldn’t be better, easy walk to beach and shopping. They even had a pack and play that came in handy as we ended up babysitting our granddaughter. Can’t wait to visit San Clemente again and will book the same place.

We cannot recommend this property enough. Peter and Cathy were so nice and communicative. Check-in was super easy. It came with bikes and helmets and plenty of beach towels which we all used! Annual family vacation
Great place for our annual family 4th of July vacation. Very well thought out and has everything you need except food. Everything in the kitchen seemed very new and in great condition. The yard, hot tub, and beach gear were great.
Very responsive and quick to help owners. We had a problem with a remote for the tv and they got us a new one the next day. Considering it was a holiday, I was pretty impressed.
It was so much roomier than you might think from the pictures. We were in unit C and the rest of our group rented unit B above us. It was perfect if you have a large group because with their balcony right above our yard and the stairs right outside our front door it was more like we rented a very large two story house.
Loved this place and would highly recommend it.

We loved staying here! It was super clean, just the right amount of space for the 8 of us, and had everything you could need!
The jacuzzi, the pink pong, the fire pit .. made staying here perfect. And, the short walk to beach, shops or restaurants made for a perfect location.

We had a wonderful time! The house was great and actually better than the pictures in the listing. The walk to the beach was great, a good little walk, we loved it. But the trolley stops right in front of the house if walking up the hill is too much for you. Kathy and Dana were super responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect location condo
Three bedroom condo, teo bath, comfy and inviting. Great size working kitchen, sitting area with fireplace. Plenty of TVs and games. On site parking with lots of outside extras. Easy walk to resteraunts, shops, beach and pier. Owners are wonderful and communicated frequently. Easy in and out!

Overall experience was five stars +! The place was amazing, excellent location, plenty of parking very clean, with lots of extras.

Great stay!
This was by far our most favorite stay in California! The house is beautiful, clean and the owners are wonderful to work with. We walked down to the beach everyday and the sand and waves were perfect! San Clemente is so nice and had perfect restaurant and stores in walking distance. We will definitely stay again!!
