About this house rental

Situated in Orleans, this lovely house for $560 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Nestled on an acre of woods on a private lane, this idyllic vacation cottage is perfectly located steps from Town Cove and East Orleans village or minutes from beautiful Nauset Beach. Upscale amenities include: light and bright open concept living/dining/kitchen, granite countertops, stainless appliances, spa bath with walk-in and outdoor showers, in-unit washer/dryer, free wireless and internet, and private deck with gas grill and patio furniture overlooking unspoiled wetlands. Freshly painted and decorated with vintage costal touches. This is your vacation waiting to happen; just bring the sunscreen. The cottage does not have central air conditioning, but is provided with window units in all bedrooms and common spaces. Even though we love animals, we cannot allow pets or smoking within the premises as some guests are highly allergic. There is outdoor parking space available for two cars. Minimum age of primary renter is 25. Please note that in order to protect the health and welfare of our visitors, we will sanitize the house thoroughly between each booking. But in this time of pandemic, we require that all guests agree to the following: 1. Due to the pandemic, we cannot currently supply bedding, linens or towels. Please bring your own. 2. No COVID positive tested person is accepted as a guest for the safety of others and state quarantine rules must be followed. Government imposed travel restrictions may impact your travel plans. Please be sure to check and follow government guidelines for travel in the Commonwealth of Mass. 3. No more than six persons will occupy the premises at any time and in consideration of our neighbors, the property shall not be used for events, parties, functions, or gatherings. 4. We will not be responsible for lost or left behind articles. 5. We ask our guests to leave the premises in the same general good and habitable condition as when they arrived. 6. Guests are responsible for all damage, breakage, or loss to the premises except for normal wear and tear. It is your responsibility to report any damage to us immediately. 7. We support and adhere to VRBO's cancellation policy. 8. Guests agree to allow the owners to enter the premises and property, with proper notification, to make repairs, clean or maintain landscaping. 9. If the booking is longer than seven days, weekly cleanings will occur. The owners will arrange a time for routine weekly cleaning with the renter. 9. Both fireplaces in the cottage are non operational. DO NOT LIGHT A FIRE in the fireplaces.

great place for a couple. location wonderful. we did have a problem with the dishwasher but that wasn't a biggie. I'm not a fan of streaming tv as I love the live news in the am. house is great and we didn't even use the downstairs.

This cottage was everything we were hoping for. My husband and I stayed there for 2 weeks with our 3 adult children. The accommodations were perfect for us and the location was great, close to everything. It was clean and comfortable and charming. Barry and Amanda were excellent hosts and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great vacation!!

This is our second year renting is this cottage and it was just as fabulous as the first time. The location and setting are beautiful and private yet quite close to all the necessary amenities (Nauset Beach, Nauset Farms and many restaurants.) We started each morning with a cup of coffee on the back deck overlooking the marsh pond and watching the many bird species start their day. Barry is a fabulous host which is evident by the care he puts into this home. Five stars across the board for this cape gem.

We had a fantastic stay at Barry and Amanda's property. It is private, yet close to the Nauset and Main Street. Our daily workouts included walking and running to Nauset . The house was very clean and well thought out for renters. The furnishings were cozy upstairs and down. Communication with Barry and Amanda was great, they were very attentive. We hope to stay there again in the future!!!

House was very clean and nicely decorated. Area was private. Felt like home. Just enough space for everyone (2 adults, 3 teenagers) not to feel cramped. Within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Hosts were great, so kind and plenty of communication. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The house is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, in a very quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable and sitting areas welcoming. The property is close to many beaches, bike riding trails, shopping and restaurants. So glad we found this property, as we all felt relaxed and rejuvenated at the end of our week.

If you enjoy sunrise and slow, sweet afternoons, this is the place. I spent a good deal of time outside on the deck. I painted out there. We ate out there. We sat quietly and read books out there. Thanks for the use of the home. If there is only one negative, "appliances". Get a coffee maker without "k-cups" and a bullet or blender. Thanks so much-Merle

The home exceeded what I expected. The basement was like an in-law apartment for privacy for another couple. The kitchen is well stocked. The entire home was remodeled and modern. The owner is very responsive. We plan to return.

From the moment we pulled in the driveway we knew we made the right choice renting this cottage. The property is just beautiful. Morning and evening we would enjoy the back deck over the small pond. Tons of birds and just so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and the room layout was perfect. Upstairs has 2br, one with a queen and the other two twins. The open plan kitchen/living room is bright and perfect for cooking and relaxing. Downstairs has a second living room and queen bedroom. It was the perfect place for the kids to have their own space. Location is ideal, with local markets and restaurants within a short drive or bike ride. Nauset beach is a 5 min drive and was great for early morning beach walks. If you get there before 7:30 there is no parking fee. Also the 30-40 min drive to P-town was quiet convenient. Amanda and Barry were excellent hosts. This is a 5 star property in every way.
