Situated in Alcoa, this attractive cabin for $358 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Experience the best Knoxville has to offer! Why stay in a cramped, noisy hotel when you can have all of this room and privacy? Minutes to everything, but a world away! Little Joe is our two-bedroom, two-bathroom log cabin located on a gated 16 acres of woods & pasture. You have it all here. Peace and quiet? Check. Hot tub and fireplace? Yup. Walking trails, bass fishing pond, horseshoe pits, and a tetherball pole? Oh, yes! The living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom with log queen bed & bath with tub are all on the main floor. The leather couch is a pull-out sofa sleeper. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a dishwasher, cooking utensils, Keurig and drip coffee machines, a griddle, spices and seasonings, cooking oil, sugar, and flour. Everything to prepare gourmet meals is at your fingertips. The 2nd floor has a large bedroom with a log queen bed, walk-in closet, bathroom with shower, and washer and dryer. A twin air mattress is available for the 5th guest. The cabin has 2 TVs with Roku devices and Xfinity cable TV, and the wifi is excellent throughout. Enjoy deer, birds, turkeys, and squirrels with a morning cup of coffee or evening beverage while sitting or swinging on the deck with ceiling fans or in your private hot tub. How about grilling a steak on the outdoor grill? Snuggle up with the toasty fireplace on a cold evening. Enjoy walks on the beautiful 16 acres of fenced grounds with tall oaks and hayfields while admiring the abundant wildlife. How about a bonfire out back by the seasonal creek? Or throw a line into the catch-and-release stocked bass pond with fountain. Fishing is seasonal & catching fish will be reduced in colder months. We also provide shared access to horseshoe pits, a tetherball pole, and cornhole in our outdoor game and trail area. Or grab a book and find a secret hammock in the woods to relax. The best feature of this cabin is its amazing location to what matters to you! When it is time to go to work or to play, you are only minutes from all the shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and hospitals in Knoxville. 14 mins to UTK, Neyland Stadium, and the convention center & 12 minutes to the airport. Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains are about 45 minutes away. Preapproved pets are charged $25 per pet per day. Easy Uber ride to the airport or to the entertainment in Knoxville. Rent another cabin on the same property for a family reunion!! We supply our guests with at least a week's worth of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, paper towels, and toilet paper to allow our guests time to settle in without being rushed to make a grocery store visit. We do not automatically provide maid or cleaning services during your stay. Guests are expected to maintain a good level of cleanliness. Cleaning service can be requested for a reasonable fee. Please let us know if the grill runs out of gas. We will refill at no charge to guests. Firewood for the fireplace or firepit is not supplied. It can be collected on-site in the woods, or purchased from local vendors.

We stayed in the Little Joe cabin for a week during Christmas. The cabin was very clean and was very well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, trash bags and laundry supplies. I have stayed at several STR properties and this is the first where we did not have to purchase these items. We also had a welcome basket with snacks and water waiting for us. The hosts were very responsive with any questions and were accommodating with a special request that we had. The property is beautiful in a peaceful setting, we enjoyed walks with our dog - he enjoyed the large off-leash area. Overall a great experience, we will be staying again in the future!

We are two couples who stayed for a weekend while attending a concert in Knoxville. The cabin was easy to find and the property was lovely. The cabin is perfect for two couples. Having two bedroom and two baths, was just what we needed. We really enjoyed the arcade game upstairs. It brought back a lot of memories of our youth. Check in and check out was very easy with little cleaning expected from us. The only thing that was less than appealing that was the hot tub. It’s old, has a mildew issue and the jets are very weak. But it was hot. Thanks for sharing the place with us.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect balance of “getting away” but we were only 10 minutes from downtown Knoxville. Our hosts left very detailed and helpful instructions and checked in with us just the right amount. We can’t wait to come back!

We stay at vacation rentals on all our trips and this place has by far been the best. The cabin is adorable and beyond super clean! The area to walk around and explore was a huge plus when wanting to spend quality, quiet time with family. We captured an adorable photo of our 22 year old Grandson's feet hanging out of the hammock by the pond. This kind of sums up the overall experience. The communication with the hosts was great and assuring of us having a nice stay. HIGHLY!!! recommend this place.

Exactly as described and pictured! Great stay away for a girl's week! Quiet and serene, close to the sights yet off the beaten path. The owners have been fabulous and incredibly accommodating! Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend the Little Joe on the Ponderosa.

We stayed on 16 acres of heaven in a lovely cabin for three nights. The cabin, named after one of the Cartwright boys from Bonanza, was exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and well served by friendly and helpful hosts. It is super convenient to Knoxville and would be perfect for a UT football weekend or just a treading getaway. The Smokey Mountain National Park is but 30 minutes away in the other direction. The pond with fountain and nature trail with actual nature are beautiful. Saw two deer by the creek. We will stay again.

We stayed in Lil’ Joe for a couple of days. The cabin is exactly as described. Modern amenities with a cabin feel. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to relax and open a book. Highly recommend.

Nice location! Nicely kept up and clean. however, the mattress was way too soft, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Our dog also gives it five stars! She loved exploring your property.

We had a great stay at the Ponderosa. Our cabin was cute, cozy & very clean. We loved the area & my boys loved catching bass in the pond. Brandi was excellent & went above & beyond as our host! We highly recommend this for a place to stay!

Our stay here was the equivalent of a five star hotel. The interior and grounds were gorgeous and we had everything we needed or wanted including the hot tub and laundry and lovely porch. We also appreciated the entrance from the parking area to the kitchen by a back porch. Thank you for being so thoughtful for your guests. Would definitely recommend. Pat Wagner

My husband, and dogs, very much enjoyed the 2 night stay. It was just as advertised and when I was struggling to enter the gate after 10 pm I was able to speak with the owners to get in without a problem! I would stay again in the future for sure, very close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park

Just returned from our stay in Knoxville. Could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and the overall experience. This is a beautiful property, the weather could not have been better, and the large pasture was great for our Lab. The family that owns the property was helpful and pleasant to deal with. Almost the entire family are service folks (thank you for your service)..all the more reason to stay here when your travels take you to Knoxville. We had a great time...were close to everything and really enjoyed the stay. Kudos to the family!

My husband and I traveled with our pets towing a fishing boat to have work done on the boat. We spent the week periodically exploring town waiting for the boat. We appreciated the quiet area to keep the dogs calm and the extensive supplies available to make the cabin feel like home. My only criticism is that the walking bridge in front of little Joes cabin was slippery when wet. Unfortunately it rained all week!

The "Little Joe" cabin was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed a warm fire every evening. We walked through out the Property and especially liked the leash free meadow, and so did our pups. The owners Kevin and Brandi responded almost instantaniously to our messages.

I got the best sleep here I have had in years. It was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Nice to be outside and walk around the 16 Acres. We used the fireplace each night made it cozy. It is close enough but far enough away from all the action. Had a great stay. The owners replied promptly to any message.

We enjoyed the beautiful country setting of the Pond'erosa cabins! Kevin and Brandi were gracious hosts! They were so nice to Bill and I who travelled here for a conference and the AMBC Fall Festival. They even came to our rescue when we couldn't pull up the Georgia / Tennessee game. That was so cool of them! If you are not a big city type person and have to travel to Knoxville, this is a great option. It was only a 15 min to 30 minute drive from the cabin to downtown. The Pond'erosa cabins are gated and out in the country side, so I felt really secure. The property is pet-friendly and Rosie my JackChi enjoyed exploring and rolling in the leaves. If you are visiting Knoxville, come check these cabins out!

Just me my son and dog Brutus. Decided to have a boys weekend. We recently lost our best friend Bella to old age. Brutus is getting older too so we just wanted to get one last road trip with the boys. Brutus being without his sister has gotten him really depressed. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Property was amazing. Cabin was just right for us. Brutus had a blast walking the 16 acre property. We will definitely be coming back.

This is a beautiful 16acres property in the trees. The hosts were extremely responsive to questions and have incorporated games and puzzles as part of the experience. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I and our two dogs! Would absolutely stay here again.

Overall the stay was very nice. The property was fairly quiet. We enjoyed walking or dog around the property. She found the walks to be more enjoyable than simply walking around my subdivision. I'm sure she enjoyed all the new smells that come with walking in nature. We saw several deer on the property, several times. We did a little fishing. I caught several nice largemouth bass and the wife caught several bluegill. Overall a very nice and relaxing weekend.
