Adorei a simpatia dos funcionários. O pequeno almoço foi top. A quinta é muito bonita, género rústico despreocupado, a piscina fantástica. Os animais deram um toque extra de surpresa. A localização é ótima

Lieu enchanteur

Le côté authentique des lieux, la situation, les équipements (piscine, terrain de tennis, paddel, mini ferme, jardin fleuri et orangeraie, billard, tennis de table, vélo…), le délicieux petit déjeuner dans un lieu magique.

Peu d’équipement en cuisine, aucun condiment disponible, un peu de poussière sous les lits, table petite pour manger à 5 (logement numéro 10) Le bar sur la digue est bruyant jusqu’à 2h30 a cette période de l’année, attention aux personnes ayant le sommeil léger.

Divine. Tranquil. Spectacular.

This place is a hidden gem. literally hidden—close to zero signage. But once you are in it is dreamy—beautiful grounds (ancient breeds of digs and mules) and the rooms are lovely-spotlessly clean, well decorated, comfortable. Superb breakfast. I liked it so much, I stayed an additional night!

1) its visually stunning, 2) perfectly located by the shore of the Tage, 3) room is wide and comfy and 4) staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Relaxing … inviting … well fed & slept like a Dream!

Location simply stunning! Staff “nothing is too much trouble” Feels just sublime staying here … beautiful expansive superior double room .. expansive bathroom SUPER COMFY Bed! Wonderful Woodburnjng stove … Scrumptious breakfast & adorable breakfast area … LOVE the courtyard & feel totally “Detached from the world” once inside the Quinta… Wysteria arched walk way just flowering during this stay … exquisite scent! ADORE the play room … pool / darts/ availability to hire bikes / use tennis courts / pool when in season & THRILLED that there is now “Target Practice” air rifle hire … a Sport I simply adore!!!!

Nice stay

The gardens are beautiful, with a swimming pool that looks like a natural pond, and some animals (goats, very nice donkey) fenced at the end. Game room, and paddle and tennis court. The room included everything you made need (though no amenities, they give you gel and shampoo from a dispenser). The breakfast was very enjoyable, in a cozy area decorated perfectly and with all the needed options: the bread was delicious, eggs, freshly cut fruit, natural juice, cheese… also one day we requested to have it in the room and they were very generous with the portions.

They gave us a room next to the reception area with a door that connected to it and we felt a bit of lack of privacy (we could hear everything coming from it -thus we assumed it was the other way around-) . We requested a change but they said it was fully booked. Also the rooms face a kind of a patio at the entrance (instead of the garden, and they closed this one at 8 pm).

Exceptional

Everything! This Beautiful property was like a magical labyrinth that unfolded into little pockets of Paradise. Beautifully decorated, sweet little orange trees at a beautiful orchard garden to walk through. The grand walls kept it quiet, cosy and safe. The wine cellar eating area was icing on the cake. Beautiful property, and the young lady was very kind and sweet.

we needed a convenient place for one night’s stay as we travelled into another place. There was no restaurant and breakf

The property is in a lovely location next to the water and has a great cosy historic feel to it. The gardens looked great but we didn’t get a chance to walk round as we only stayed one night.

Breakfast not served until 8.30am, after we had to leave. TV was not tuned properly and picture quality very poor. Room smelt musty and needed airing. Bed was very hard and bed linen not that comfortable. I didn’t like having to leave 2 deposits for the mini bars in the rooms which we never use.

Great location, comfortable stay

I'm a frequent guest at Quinta Da Praia Das Fontes and always enjoy my stays because the location is great, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the WiFi works well. It's nice to have parking in front, and a short walk to a variety of restaurants which are reached with a stroll along the waterfront. When I have business in Lisboa, I plan to stay at the Quinta if it's possible. It was so nice this trip to see the Quinta full of guests with breakfast served once again as a buffet in the beautiful breakfast room.

Prices in August! But, I had business and this was still a better value than staying in the city.

this is old place, but very village style and very atmospheric. Huge rooms, good breakfast, garden around and fireplace.

We look forward to a return trip to Alcochete soon.

This Quinta was right on the water in Alcochete with very unusual little cottages set around a nicely cobbled yard. The gardens are huge with a swimming pool / tennis court / and hundreds of Orange and Lemon trees to walk by. The breakfasts were very good and served in a beautiful old room at the front of the Quinta. The rooms were set up for self catering but we found a very nice fish restaurant in the town. The Mini bar was very well priced and wine was available from reception by the bottle which was welcome when we arrived. Alcochete is and interesting town with plenty to see and a long pier out into the river with what appears to be a thriving cockle trade going on daily. Parking was plentiful outside the Quinta.
