Located in Ruidoso, this lovely house for $1,095 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. 3411 sq ft 3-level home; 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths; adjacent to national forest This is our happy place! Nestled at the edge of the Lincoln National Forrest, you will be surrounded by nature, beauty and wildlife! At the Lazy Elk Lodge, you will experience mountain charm and stunning views with the forest in your own backyard! Being over 40 years old, we love our cabin's location and rustic charm! The deck space is incredible and there's room enough to accommodate large groups! Located just off Mechem Drive about 2.5 miles north of downtown, you'll find this great five bedroom, four bathroom home with a hot tub and game room - a true home away from home. The hot tub is perched on its own deck facing the Lincoln National Forest. Enjoy a relaxing soak day or night. Tons of deck space on three sides of the home feature lots of seating and 2 gas grills. The game room comes equipped with a pool table and shuffle board table, and plenty of room for seating. The lodge's main level has lots of windows and is bright and airy. The open floor plan joins the kitchen, dining and main living areas for easy socializing. Main level has a bright kitchen with most amenities, two dining tables provide seating for 14. The majestic fireplace, equipped with a brand new gas insert, faces the spacious living area which is equipped with a smart 55 inch TV, while seating is provided by a large sofa and comfy arm chairs. The main level also features a a bathroom and two bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the smaller has a queen size bed. The entry level off the carport has two roomy guest rooms, each with its own bathroom. One features 2 queen beds and a futon, and the second has a king, a full bed and a futon. The 5th bedroom Sleeping Loft is large and cozy with 2 queen beds, a full size bed and two of it's own balconies. The Loft area features an oversized full bathroom. The many amenities here include central AC, 4 smart TVs & DVDs, hot tub, wireless internet, pool table, fireplace and laundry. Please see our complete list of amenities for more details. We have a property manager who is always available to assist with any questions or needs upon arrival. No pets or smoking please, and no fires of any kind are allowed. Guests must abide by all local fire laws, parking and noise ordinances. No events allowed. The cabin is equipped with a professional security system including 2 cameras overlooking the driveway to ensure the security of the property. Our goal is to provide a place for your family and friends to be together, where you can unwind, disconnect, and relax. Come and enjoy Ruidoso!

Location was very nice, home was clean, nice game room, outside deck spaces were very nice, but no yard space for kids to play.
Kitchen and bathrooms desperately need updating. Small refrigerator, no ice maker.
No vacuum available to use during a week long stay and no wall mounted hair dryers. It was a little inconvenient that the clothes Washer and Dryer are located in someone's bedroom.
Ruidoso itself is a great place to visit!

My family and I came into town for a Memorial Day weekend baseball tournament. The house was great for the most part! Plenty of beds and rooms to spread out. Pool table and shuffle board were both a lot of fun! Hot tub was nice just a little too cold for our liking. We probably could have let it heat up longer and it would have been fine. House was advertised to have plenty of board games. The games were pretty old and missing pieces and or part of the actual board itself. Puzzles also have missing pieces which made putting them together rather annoying. House is also advertised to have all the cooking essentials you would need. Pans are very rusted and coated in grease. If you plan on baking anything at all I would buy disposable pans. Overall I would say we were happy with our stay.

We rented this house for our Christmas vacation for 18 people and we all had enough space, bathrooms, blankets, towels etc. and it is located about 10-15 minutes from town. Lisa was extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check out a little later due to travel arrangements. We hope we can book this home next year if possible. Thank you Lisa and Bob for allowing us use your Home.

We really enjoyed this house! It was perfect for our group. We actually got snow for Thanksgiving and the kids loved playing in the snow and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this house.

Our chapter of the MOMS club from Las Cruces held our annual fall retreat here. 15 moms got to spend time unwinding and connecting together those 3 days! We all got naps (which is so rare for momma’s these days!) and we broke bread together in a beautiful home! Thank you for hosting and we hope to use this property next year as it was the perfect size for us!

This is a beautiful place, plenty of space for our group. We had everything we needed and more. Lots of stairs definitely you will get your steps in .The hosts were very attentive to our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to celebrate my husband's birthday! Plenty of room for all our family (13). The only real complaint, which is not a complaint, was the number of stairs. However, that is the only way to get the views we had!! So peaceful and everyone had a great time!

Wanted a nice place to hang out with family. Ages ranged from 18 months/under 13/under 30/under 50 and we all had a great time. Had to set the pack n play so our toddler didn’t go upstairs. Everything else was perfect the patios outside were gated so the little ones could run and play. There was space for everyone to be in their own space and together. Plenty of bathrooms for all of our group which was great! Saw a couple of deer during our stay up close. Really liked that the main patio with the grill is on the opposite of the house where the neighboring house is at. Was a little worried with the house somewhat close but turned out great. Beautiful windows letting the sun in. The kitchen had various amenities that was helpful. Overall loved our stay and hope to go back.

Lovely property. Nine 'golden girls' thoroughly enjoyed our reunion. Plenty of room for all which was a blessing since it rained much of the time so we were cooped up in the house. Loved the decks and the deer visiting daily. Owner and property manager promptly respond to any inquiry.

We loved this place. Plenty of space for all of us. Pool table and hot tub was a plus. It was very peacful. My daughter got married at Grindstone Lake and the cabin gave us the opportunity for all of us to stay together for the weekend!!

Unfortunately I couldn't go because I got sick with covid 😢 but the rest of my family said they had alot of fun and the cabin was big enough for everyone who was able to go... the best part was the hot tub for them and the pool table... but they said the only thing is that the air hockey machine wasn't working ...but they said it was clean and had everything they needed at the cabin... they said the whole property and cabin was so beautiful and peaceful... thanks so much for your hospitality and beautiful place

The house was great. We had lots of room and beds for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need. The only thing I would recommend for the kitchen is a whisk, grater and larger trash can.
The game room was great with lots of games however it was hard to play pool with the eight ball missing from the pool table and the paddles were broken on the air hockey
The propane tanks were missing so no outdoor grilling
