About this house rental
Located in Ridgedale, this lovely house for $749 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our six bedroom home includes 3 king and 3 queen bedrooms with a queen pull out sofa and 2 rollaway beds for additional sleeping. Two master suites one on each level. All bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TV's. There are two stairs going into the main level of the house, which has two master bedrooms & no stairs. There are stairs going to the upstairs and downstairs rooms. The main floor has an open kitchen, dining area and great room, perfect for congregating all together. The fully stocked kitchen makes cooking together easy and fun! Large farm table offering seating for 12. 2 separate family rooms give so many options!! Game room with multiple game arcade, Foosball, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Also enjoy the 2 screened in decks. We look forward to hosting you! Sincerely, Rent a Branson Cabin

My family (12 – ages 16-70) stayed at the Castaway Cabin in Hollister, Missouri (near Branson) the last week in July, 2023. Our host, Melissa, was readily available. However, after booking the property, and later getting the door lock code from her, we had no contact with her, because she had thought of everything we could possibly need! Other than food (obviously), the house was well stocked (enough to get you through a few days) – some spices, dish detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. We had all the kitchen appliances you could ask for – even an electric hot water pot and a professional Belgium waffle maker. The house was clean and very roomy with 6 bedrooms and 5 full baths. We loved the huge 12-seat dining table! In the morning, I watched the hummingbirds in the Mimosa trees from the screened in porch! The pool was close and was enjoyed! Only 3 parking spaces (we had 4 vehicles), but plenty of overflow parking. A great stay! 5 STARS!

We had a excellent time, everyone enjoyed On Top if the Hill caves, rented a pontoon one day to boat and tube and one evening the kids took us to Branson Belle showboat and cruise. Melissa was very pleasant snd easy to work with. Easy to check in. When we arrived , we found one screen in porch screen torn,couple of kitcken utensils not cleaned and the stove top not properly clean..thought i had sent pictures to Melissa but i sent to wrong number. But did not stop us from having a great time

Using the correct phone than..she took care of the problem fairly quickly. Beautiful home, comfortable beds ,the kids enjoyed the foosball table and arcade. We really lived the long,larged dinning room tsble so we could enjoy our meals together and play board /card games together. We would stay again

The home was so beautiful and it was decorated for Christmas on the main living area. There were 6 of us who stayed in the home and it had plenty of room. We enjoyed hanging out on the main level at the big table to play games in front of the fireplace. It was the perfect home for Christmas in Branson for our family. We will definitely be back.

We had 17 people in our group, 8 adults and 9 kids (majority teenagers). The house had plenty of room and it was very nice and clean. Communication with Melissa was amazing and she was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Pin ball machine hadn't been there for a while. Arcade machine didn't work. Grill didn't work. Those items were very important and part of the reason we choose that one.
Other than that property was ok, it was clean and owners were pretty responsive when we asked.

The house was perfect for our gathering of friends. The house was pretty clean. The furniture was comfortable. The beds were pretty soft.. which we like... but a few of the others preferred firmer mattresses. The house keeper put the mop and bucket in the pantry of the kitchen. While pine sol smells good... the smell was so strong that we were concerned that our food would taste like pine sol if we put it in the pantry. So we had to leave the food out on the counters due to limited storage space. The only other issue we had was out of the owners control. We had gone out and when we returned, our neighbors parked in our parking space directly in front of our front door. I did contact the owners, and she attempted to resolve the issue. However, the van was never moved. This resulted in us having to park down the street on the side of the street. So parking is limited for big groups with several vehicles. Other then those few little issues, the house was great! I was impressed with the supply of necessities. Having traveled using rentals frequently, we had already stopped and bought toilet tissue, hand soap, trash bags, and paper towels. This house had an abundant supply of all of these things, so we ended up not needing any of the items that we bought. The showers were super clean. The floors were clean. The big table was prefect for our group to play games. The screened in porches were a nice addition as well! We definitely recommend this house, and will keep it in mind for when we gather together in Branson again.

Great for multiple families
We had 4 families stay in this property, each with young kids age 2.5 - 11 years old. Kitchen was well stocked! Great space! Easy walk to the pool! Our only possible request would have been having extra towels in kitchen/baths and extra sheets or blankets available. Great rental!

Our Branson Trip
The place is beautiful. We have 16 members in my family and there was plenty of room. It was great being able to sit together for meals. The bathrooms all had shampoo, conditioner and body wash and the kitchen even had all the seasonings we usually have to run to the store to buy! Pool is very close by. Our host was superb. We had an issue with the air-conditioning and a service tech was there in less than 1 hour. When it turned out it couldn't be fixed quickly she arranged an awesome replacement for our stay.

Branson Delight
We had a 11 people in our house. Never felt crowded, house had a great layout for all ages. This was my 2nd time back at this house and I would highly recommend anyone coming to the area to stay here. Great community pools (they opened a 2nd one with a slide) while we were there. House is close to Table Rock Lake and near Branson. Michelle was quick to respond to our messages while we were there.

Upstairs was a great location for those who needed a quiet spot to get away. Downstairs was perfect for our teenagers and was equipped with more than enough to keep them entertained! The main floor had two master set ups which allowed us couples easy access to the entire home. The large dining room table was the center of everything for us. We spent most of our time there eating, chatting and playing games. Everything was extremely clean, new and updated. My husband accidentally threw away a bag of dirty clothes into the dumpster with trash. Our host pulled out all the stops to find it for us. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality of this home and the level of customer service we experienced. If we come again, this is definitely where we will stay!

Great for a Group!
I went to Branson with a group of girlfriends and this property was perfect for us! We had a blast and ended up staying in the last night making snacks and watching a movie in the big living room. There was plenty of space and we never felt overcrowded. The house was clean with lots of gathering areas. Melissa was very accommodating and we would definitely stay at another one of her properties in the future!

Extended family getaway
Every 5 years, our extended family gets together for a family vacation. The house was perfect for our group, as it provided plenty of space, and a large common area for fixing meals and gathering as a group.

It was a great house for a large family that hadn’t been together since COVID. 6 adults and 6 kids fit perfectly. Plenty of places to relax, eat, play games, and only half a block to the pool. Had everything we needed and owner was great to work with. Close to lake and all of Branson.

We have stayed in numerous VRBO properties and this was the best stocked with kitchenware for our large family. There were many sleeping options for the various family members. The location was great, away from towns, close to the Lake, and close to the swimming pool. Trash was removed daily, but, unfortunately there was no provision for recycling. The owner was readily available for any questions that we had. We highly recommend "Castaway Cabin".
