My health and that of a family member became an issue and I tried to cancel several days before arrival. I am 72 and was coming alone for a personal retreat. I live several hours away. This was an uncancelable reservation, which I knew at the same time, there are sometimes exceptions. I asked for some refund, if possible and to be refunded the cleaning fee (over $200, taxes were close to another $200). The property manager was sympathetic and wrote that they would check with their partner and would get back to me. I didn't hear from them and emailed them twice more asking to just let me know. No response.

If you say you are going to respond, then do so. It has now been over a week. I have sent additional requests for response, Booking sent a request as well. Nada. Recommendations happen when things go wrong as well and have to do with excellent responses, genuine intent to help and follow through. So disappointed and out close to $1400 for three nights. Shamefull.
