Located in Rockaway Beach, this charming house for $202 per night is a great choice for your next trip. The Patriot House, located on one acre in exclusive Taneycomo Estates, Rockaway Beach is totally updated with a Mexican flair. The owner has collected paintings, wall art, hand-loomed tapestries, rugs, pottery, baskets, and more, to give the home a cozy, comfortable feeling. You'll enjoy carrying your hand-painted Mexican pottery plate over to the custom-built reclaimed wood table with a hand-loomed table runner. In the morning or late afternoon, on our 30 ft. deck with shady pergola, join us for deer squirrel and bird watching! The Patriot House, dedicated to our veterans who served with honor, offers 3 quiet and comfortable bedrooms: The Patriot Suite: With a queen pillowtop mattress and "My Pillow" pillows, you're sure to get a great night's sleep so you'll be ready to explore Branson and the surrounding areas the next day. There's a large closet with refrigerator and microwave, a personal safe, and a 5-cup coffeemaker on the dresser. The furniture is all hand-made in Mexico, as is the décor. The double-Dutch doors open onto the deck, with a glass-top table and 4 chairs. Smoking is permitted on the deck. The blinds are remote controlled, and there are blackout curtains as well. Below the 50 in. smart TV, there's a remote-controlled electric fireplace for those chilly nights and mornings. The adjoining hall bath is exclusively yours, with fluffy, soft towels, and a large, seated shower with 3 different shower heads (overhead rain shower, wall shower head, and wand). The Betsy Ross Suite: This large master bedroom offers a new pillowtop mattress, and a "My Pillow" mattress topper. The queen bed has lots of fluffy pillows, so you can enjoy the 65 in. smart TV. The double barn doors slide open to reveal your own personal deck space with a Mexican hammock and large umbrella. The cinder gray hardwood floor is topped with hand-loomed denim rugs from Mexico. There's an antique desk and chair, and a vintage rocking chair, as well as a wardrobe for your clothes. The en suite bath has a jetted tub with a wand shower head. The vanity and mirror are handcrafted out of reclaimed wood, with a petrified wood sink and a waterfall faucet. The large shower stall has a seat and 2 shower heads. The toilet is in its own room for privacy. You also have your own fridge and microwave for leftovers, a personal safe, as well as a 5-cup coffeemaker. Coffee (both regular and decaf) is provided, as are accoutrements. Freedom Suite: Set up with a sofa/trundle bed (2 very comfortable twin beds), a Pack N Play, and a recliner for baby's feeding time, this comfortable room also has a 42 in. TV for gaming. Remote-controlled Levolor blinds, and a 3-tone plush carpet make this a cozy room for the kids. The entire house is ready for your family to enjoy. The expansive living room with its 70 in. TV, and custom fireplace offers relaxation after a busy day in Branson. The lighted bar area in the kitchen offers guests the opportunity to mix their own drinks. The refrigerator makes craft ice (round balls), square cubes and crushed ice. Both the ice and water in the door are filtered. Bottled water is also available at no charge. We employ an honor system for the bar, which means that you make note of what you drink, and you'll pay in cash at the end of your stay. The kitchen appliances are all "smart," and the dishwasher has a special high temperature/steam setting to ensure that all dinnerware and utensils are sanitized. Longer staying guests may use the washer/dryer at no charge. Both have steam/sanitary cycles, so you can be assured that all bed linens and towels are germ/virus free.

We were very pleased with the property. It was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard.

Overall it was a good stay, Susan was great and addressed everything promptly. The listing was for the most accurate and the house was clean and neat. There were a lot of "first times" for my wife and I on this trip. We usually always show up late to any rental, this was the first that the homeowner was there waiting on us to show us around. This was nice but not what we are into, after a long drive we just want to get there and relax. When we arrived I had to keep our dog on a leash for another 30 minutes while we were "showed" the house due to the fact that she had a cat in the house. This also was not mentioned in the listing, making for a long weekend for my wife and her severe cat allergies. It was also kind of strange walking into the master closet and it being full of clothes, the owner obviously stays in the home when not rented and stays in a travel trailer next to the house when the house is rented. Once again for most this may be normal, we have rented homes for years and have never been in this kind of scenario before. Nice house, nice neighborhood and Susan was great addressing anything.

We cannot say enough about this property. We've stayed at several VRBO locations, but this one stands apart from the rest. To say the home is well-stocked is an understatement. Everything we needed and much more was provided. The home itself is exquisitely decorated. And to top it off, loads of deer come to the backyard and we got to feed them with the provided corn. Susan's hospitality made this stay an unforgettable experience. She literally treated us like family.

Sometimes you arrive at a place and it is less than you expected. This place is MORE! It is a lovely property with a beautifully decorated home. I wanted to take it home with me! I loved the peace and quiet. Such a perfect place to come back to after a day in Branson. I highly recommend it!

We absolutely adored our stay with at the Patriot House. We were able to bring our cats with. The house was beautiful and had every amenity we could need. Susan did a great job communicating about the town water leak so we could plan each day. I read other reviews and have to say Susan is a great host that cares about the people that visit. The deer in the backyard and her lovely kitty were enjoyed daily. The house was immaculate and made us feel at home. We’re so grateful to have been able to stay here. It was a wonderful vacation that we truly enjoyed. Thank you Susan for sharing your home with us. We hope to return again.

The house was in a great location, only 10-15 minutes from popular places in Branson. Upon arrival at 3:25, the owner/manager was still cleaning the house. We drove around and came back a few minutes later and she was still there. She gave us a tour of the place and left. The house was beautiful but it needed dusting and vacuuming.

This property was close to the event where the wedding was being held. The home was beautifully decorated and spotless. We were able to have the dogs at this location and the dogs were in the wedding, so this was VERY important to the bride and groom. Enjoyed feeding the deer that came up with a few feet of us and were able to take pictures of them in the yard. Just one level, so my elderly parents were able to get around easily. Everything you would need is right here. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood also. Hostess was friendly, informative and so helpful. Thank you - we had a beautiful wedding and wonderful time!

We couldn't of ask for a better first time VRBO experience. The house and property are as described and just beautiful! The deer in the backyard daily wad icing on the cake! Susan has set the bar high. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house with everything you could need! It’s about a 20-30 minute drive into Branson or the surrounding areas but it’s definitely a beautiful scenic drive. The whole family enjoyed interacting with and watching the deer, but their presence and bowel habits really impacted any plans we had of using the backyard. Tried to play with the cornhole set we brought and literally had deer poop bouncing off the grass. Overall a great stay and trip! Thanks Susan!

Dust everywhere, filthy splash guard in the kitchen sink, etc. The bed in master bedroom is broken down on the right side which pops the left side up and very uncomfortable. The deer get fed so they come each morning and evening. Cool to see.
We booked the property in January as we planned to come for our daughter's wedding in June. We saw great reviews. We have since returned home and.. looked at reviews after we booked...we read what we wish we had known before. KNOW that the property owner stays on the property while you are there. In a camper that sits about a foot from the side of the house. KNOW that she will come into the back yard while you are outside to sit on the picnic table with her dog..... yes, uninvited. VRBO says this is CREEPY and we couldnt agree more.
She was there to personally check us in. Others have mentioned this. She was waiting for laundry to get done from guests that had checked out that morning. It was awkward.
I've never left a review. We've booked a lot of properties through the years with VRBO and i cannot, with a clear conscience, not warn people about something that I wish I had been.
I wouldve overlooked the dust. We were focused on our joy for the wedding. We did not feel like we had privacy as we never knew if she would pop up. Would she enter the house? Be warned.

The house is lovely and in a quiet neighborhood. I stayed there by myself but Susan allowed me to host my family for my great nieces 1st birthday. There were adults and 4 little there each day. The house and location were perfect. Nice big kitchen was my favorite since I hosted and prepped meals.
The deer in the yard were fun and the kids enjoyed them as much as the adults.

Susan had everything ready for our arrival. She was a great hostess. The home is just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and close enough that you can get to pretty much anything within 30 minutes. Most were 15 - 20 minutes away. The deer showed up in the back yard as advertised. Nice home layout. Spacious enough for everyone to have their space.

We were only in the home for a short stay. It was nice to have a nice master bedroom at each end of the house. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck. We had our little dog along, there was a board that we were able to put across the stairway off the deck, so he was able to be outside with us. Huge Tv's in the common area and in the bedrooms. The teenager with us liked being able to go to the bedroom and watch what he wanted to watch. Easy drive into Branson, if you wanted to do activities there. Would stay again if in the area.
