Nestled in Tom Township, this attractive cottage for $142 per night is a great option for your next trip. This is a "completely renovated" cozy cabin, nestled in a small lake community with all the amenities of home. Serene and comfortable, it is a lovely place for a couple or small family (2 adults and 1-2 small children). This is the perfect place to unwind and call this your home base for your family, fishing, boating, visiting or sightseeing activities! Long Shoal Marina, the biggest and best marina on Truman Lake, is only a minute or two away. Perfect setting for hikes, bird watching, fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming or kayaking. Or you can just sit on the porch and enjoy all the nature around you or relax on the concrete patio by the built-in campfire pit. This cabin is far enough way to enjoy peaceful ambience but close enough to enjoy local attractions. Ten minutes (7 miles) from the historic town of Warsaw, MO with restaurants, bars, wine shops, boutiques, shopping and a beautiful lake front park. You can also just stay, relax and fire up the gas grill. If barbecuing isn't your forte, cook in the completely equipped kitchen with a full-size stove/oven, full size refrigerator, microwave, RO water faucet, coffee maker and more. There is a queen size "number" bed so you can pick you mattress comfort and additional sleeping with 8" mattress futon /couch. We also have a child's cot or Pack n Play for little ones on request. This cabin is also equipped with high-speed internet and has private parking roomy enough for 3-4 vehicles and a boat. Located in a lake community with a park full of new park equipment, shelter house, and volleyball and basketball goal and horseshoes. This is a perfect place for a vacation or short get away. Located right across the street from a trail through the woods, leading down to the lake, you may even get a chance to see some of the many deer which occasionally walk through. You won't be disappointed!

Upon Arrival we noticed the easy access to the cabin I have a hard time with steps and the ease of going in the side door to the cabin was a blessing. I loved the seating on the front porch and the wonderful patio with fire pit was fantastic for those cool evenings . The gas grill made it easy to cook out nightly. The cabin inside was warm and cozy . The bad storm we had the first night brought down the flag on the front porch so I made my way to the local Walmart and purchased a new flag for the owners it was the least I could do for the wonderful stay we had. I am planning on visiting again in the future and I would highly recommend this quaint cabin in a quite setting.

We loved this little cabin. Our stay was so enjoyable and we felt comfortable and cozy. The owners made it really easy to relax and enjoy. Everything you need is there to be able to cook your meals or enjoy a cup of coffee. I would stay here again.

My boyfriend, dog, and I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property easily accessible to the water and surrounding areas. The owners were amazingly helpful and kind and even assisted us with fallen limbs after a huge storm. We’d love to go back in the future! Highly recommend.

This cabin was super cute, and the bed was very comfortable. The path to the lake (which is a fun hike through the woods) is directly across the street. The hosts were super friendly, too! Great fire pit. Importantly to me, the internet connection was quite adequate. This was a true hidden gem. I'll certainly keep this one on my short list of getaway weekend spots.

It was our first time to stay at a VRBO and we really enjoyed it. Also it was close to the marina that we kept our boat so that was very convenient we enjoyed the fishing at Truman lake.

Very clean and great location. TV was out but I connected my phone to TV. If I would of known prior we would of brought our firestick. Storms were in area so wanted TV to keep updated on them.

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and quiet. This is the perfect place for a getaway for one or two people. Plenty of room to back a trailer if you’re bringing a boat to enjoy the lake and easy access to many attractions if you’re not. Owners are friendly and were prompt to respond to any inquiries I had. I highly recommend!

My 87 year old Dad just love going to this cabin It is so quiet and clean We have been fishing at Truman and enjoy it very much! Cathy is very nice to work with to make experience very nice We will be staying there more!!

We stayed for three nights. Very good access to Truman Lake Marinas on the Grand (north side). We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch with drinks after tough days of fishing. The cabin was clean with nice amenities.

The experience from making the reservation to our check-out went very smooth. We were provided with everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Loved the shower pressure. The living room had a gas fireplace and comfortable furniture. The kitchen was fully equipted with everything you need. Loved the firepit with plenty of firewood provided to enjoy an evening spent under the stars . The neighborhood was very quiet. We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this well maintained cozy cottage. Thank you Cathy and Dewey.

We had a great stay at this cute little cabin! Weather was in the 90's and the fish weren't biting. Thankfully the cabin had good air-conditioning to cool us off after being on the lake. Would highly recommend this cabin .

We loved our stay here!! It is so warm and inviting, the bed was comfortable, it was very clean, a beautiful setting, quiet neighborhood, and stocked with everything you could want for a home away from home. Cathy and Dewey are wonderful hosts to work with. They are so personable and kind and you know that they would do all they could to make sure that you had the best visit possible. We will definitely be back!!

I rented this property because it said it had privacy , it does not, peaceful... Definitely not when there is a bulldozer that the owner is running right next door to the place, loud, noisy, dirt and dust flying around, the porch furniture is not comfortable, overall not a place to get away and relax. I left early got very little refunded, they kept the pet fee for the days I was not there which is not right either. I should have gotten a full refund minus the 1 night. I still can't believe anyone in their right mind would think that running a bulldozer on someones vacation would have even been an optional, mind boggling.
