Every detail was thought of including a welcome gift for the new year. :) We are a family of 4 and had plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms. The downstairs den was also a comfortable place to hang out and the hot tub was a great touch. Nice place to stay and communication with the hostess was great. Superb home base to explore Coeur d’Alene and surrounding areas.

We had family in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and chose this place for the location and amenities. Had a wonderful thanksgiving, place was super clean and exactly as described in the listing. We would definitely recommend this house.

This was our first time to visit the area, and “Uptown Modern” was the perfect home for us. It is located in a great area and the home is very nice. It has plenty of room inside and out. Our experience with the property manager was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this property.

Emilyanne’s property is so gorgeous and so comforting! My team and I stayed there for a softball tournament and Emilyanne was SO helpful with any questions or confusion we had! Emily Anne was so thorough in her process and our stay was absolutely seamless! Her back yard and grill were wonderful for us and our dog Finn! It helped so much to not be in a hotel and have a place for Finn to run around and be himself. Thank you Emilyanne for allowing us to have Finn with us!

Uptown Modern is a jaw dropping cozy abode with all the amenities needed for a successful Bachelorette Party. Very spacious for games, dancing and funs. The home was sparkly clean and organized with not even a dust speck in sight. EmilyAnne was wonderful! She was very responsive and open to our requests. She even left a sweet welcome & congratulations note for the bride to be!
Literally felt like a home away from home. 10/10 recommend!!!

We came to town for a gymnastics meet and stayed here with our family and friends. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working during our stay. 😔 The kitchen table was perfect for our group of 7 to play games. The Wii kept us adults busy as well. Great location and close to everything we needed. The owner kept in contact with me throughout the stay. Highly recommend this place, you wont be disappointed.

This property was advertised with room for 20 people. We used every bed available and can only fit 13 people. Seven people in our group had to find motels in Spokane which were very expensive. Everyone had planned to stay there. We put together this family stay months ago expecting to be together. Our family had been through a lot over the past two years and this was supposed to be a healing visit.We have rented other VRBO’s in the past and never had so much cleanup instructions. We were up at 7 AM on our last day there and cleaned until we left just before 10. Very unsatisfied.

Spring Break Chill Out
I took my teenage son and 4 other high school boys on a spring break trip. (I know …. best mom award.) This place was perfect for our group!! The big family room was their headquarters. I had s great space upstairs to myself.
WHAT THE BOYS LOVED: the big screen TV, the Wii console (nostalgic), the fire pit, the big hot tub, the comfie couches, the large table (great for games and eating all together), the well appointed kitchen (budding chef among them).
WHAT I LOVED: having my dog with me, how super clean everything was, so many thoughtful details, everything was well-organized and the little signs were helpful. The dog supply basket was fantastic. The fire pit / s’mores supplies were appreciated! Everything was easy - the beds were great. The extra bedding was well organized. Quality everything - including the barbecue which is both propane and charcoal! I have high standards and I can’t think of anything that disappointed me. That is saying something!!!
Also, I pulled this trip together at the very very last minute. Emilyanne was incredibly responsive and helpful. Communication was great!

We chose this VRBO due to its close location to our daughters’ competition venue only 1 freeway exit away. There are also several stores (Costco, Fred Meyer, etc ) within 2-5 min driving distance which was very convenient. The layout of the house gave everyone the space needed and the beds (including the pullout sofa bed) were very comfortable with plenty of bedding for everyone’s needs. Even our fur baby (1.5 yr old cavapoo) felt welcome with dog goodies and plenty of open space and a totally enclosed/fenced back yard that he loved to explore.
Due to our family’s dietary/allergen restrictions, we cooked just about all of our meals for the week in the kitchen. The kitchen is fantastic with lots of very well-maintained pots/pans, utensils and appliances were extremely clean and up to date. There are lots of different spices, plastic/aluminum wrap and condiments in the refrigerator - all of which isn’t the norm (my family has stayed in a lot of short term rentals). The dining table easily accommodated our entire family. There were plenty of linens and towels for all of us and spares when needed. The washer/dryer is also an asset (especially if your kids tend to spill on their competition clothes).
Emilyanne, was very, very helpful answering any questions we had and was extremely responsive (I wasn’t expecting any answers late one evening but voila an answer came within minutes of asking).
The photos of this home are exactly as you will find it when you visit and truthfully, I think the VRBO is even better in person & extremely clean (my family has lots of environmental allergens and they noticed how clean everything was kept). The owner has updated the house beautifully (the facet fixtures are unique and we loved using them) & we would definitely rent this again in the future.

Booking and communication
Booking documents were not getting to my email and after numerous attempts to book property I had to involve another family member to complete the process. I was unable to talk with anyone by phone to help me complete the process. My other family member said she signed the pet agreement but after our stay, the owner was adamant that she had not and we were scolded for bringing two small non-shedding dogs. The house is listed as acceptable for pets, but I believe the owner really doesn’t want pets there and should list her house for no pets. I was told dog hair was found in the house, even though our dogs were small poodles and that we missed 1 small pile in the yard. We are elderly ladies and were in Idaho for a funeral. The scolding I received via text turned my stay to unpleasant.
