It is a cozy, ranch style home eagerly anticipating to transport you to the epicenter of comfort. As a Wind Turbine Technician, I am constantly on the road looking for a temporary, yet comfortable place to call home. With the help of my co-host, we have managed to combine luxury and comfort. The Little Grey House will be your home away from home. The Little Grey House is a 4-bedroom 2 bath home. Every room has a Samsung crystal HD television that is equipped with all streaming services including premium cable. I also offer complimentary Wi-Fi and printing. If you forget some of your toiletries, don’t fret, we have complimentary toiletries, ready to use at your disposal. Our state-of-the-art kitchen has an electric 4 burner stove, Samsung refrigerator and an assortment of dinnerware and utensils. I offer an assortment of Complimentary Coffee and Complimentary bottled water but if you want something more adult to drink, I offer complimentary wine as well. In the south we love our barbeque, if you consider yourself a pit master try our Traeger Grill/Smoker on my back-patio deck. If you need food to cook that perfect dinner while your staying at The Little Grey House, there are many grocery stores nearby. One thing that I do not like is being bored on vacation and sometimes I just do not want to go out. If you find yourself feeling this way, try a game of corn hole on the back-patio deck. If you would like to binge your favorite show or watch the big game, enjoy our 85-inch television with Morgan Logan surround sound. We also offer Billiards, Ping Pong and many Table-Top Games. However, if you want to go out and have some fun, The Little Grey House is positioned in a geographical sweet spot. Our location will allow you to reach all sorts of fun and interesting entertainment. During the pandemic I was constantly worried about the cleanliness of the places I stayed. Even in hotels. In The Little Grey House there is no need to worry. I use hypoallergenic filters that helps decrease the spread of viruses. After every guest stay, a professional cleaning service thoroughly cleans the entire home using Covid-19 protocols.

We stay in VRBO’s a lot and this is one of the most stocked, thoughtful one we have stayed in!! We could have shown up with nothing but clothes and not needed anything! The house is very comfortable minus the couch in the living room. We all slept great in our beds. The grill out back came in handy and we were able to cook out after my sons graduation. Communication was great. We needed an extra night, no problem. The neighborhood isn’t a lot to look at but we never had any problems. It’s pretty close to base and there are some good restaurants right down the road. The only things that would have made it perfect was having a ping pong net for the table that worked, a propane tank that wasn’t empty for the fire pit and there was a lot of broken glass in the back yard where my grandson was trying to play.
Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!! Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Plenty of room and beds for my friends and family to stay. While searching for rentals for military graduation, The little gray house sold me on the amount of beds they have available for guests. Everyone commented on how comfortable they beds are as well.
We fired up the Traeger. Burgers came out delicious with a nice smoked flavor, our soldiers enjoyed that very much! Plenty of clean linens were available. And I love the added touch of hygiene products made available if needed, very thoughtful.
I would recommend this property for multiple reasons

Cozy home and nice outdoor deck. Used the grill which was part of the attraction of the house. Fire pit connection to propane tank seemed to leak so didn't use. Bedrooms could use a table or bench to set stuff on. Towel rack in the bathrooms would be nice. We enjoyed the ping pong and pool table. Ping pong net needs repair.

The property was exactly as described. Details for check-in, stay, and check-out were communicated clearly before arrival. The neighborhood was not pleasant to look at, but very quiet with little traffic. It was a conveniently located place for time with our soldier. I would not have changed a thing.

The entire house has been updated with technology. The back yard is perfect size yo enjoy. The location, when first arriving, is intimidating, however, we had no issues throughout our stay. My husband absolutely loved the property. We come to Columbus often and will gladly stay again. A well thought out property!

We rented this house to attend our sons Infantry graduation at Ft. Moore. It was Perfect!
The house is so nice inside, exactly like the pics - it is updated and spotless. The neighborhood to look at is a bit rough, but it was quiet and very convenient to everything - 9-10 miles from base, 3-5 miles from downtown Columbus (cool area) and plenty of close stores for basic needs (grocery, liquor, Walgreens, etc)
The extra amenities were great - I literally forgot my toiletries - There were toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors/shave lotion, soap/shampoo/conditioner, neutrogena makeup wipes, and even feminine products if needed. Wow! The beds are comfortable and plenty of towels for everyone (extra set out in the bathrooms)
It is well equipped for cooking/grilling if desired. It has everything one would need to cook if desired (we didn’t cook this trip but have rented many places that we do and some kitchens are very lacking - this is not!)
My in-laws were with us, my son and girlfriend stopped and my parents stopped in. The one-story house was great for my father in law, as he has trouble getting around. He loved the covered back deck, we played pool on the convertible table and really enjoyed the space.
Communication with the host was great. We changed the party number ahead of time, which was not an issue. Once there, it was so perfect for my in-laws, who were staying an extra day, that we requested one more night. It was avail and they again had no issue. Would rent again!

We stay here for two nights to attend a family reunion. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was only eight minutes from downtown and that made it easy for us to travel back and forth to our destination.
The home was stacked with everything you may think you need. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this little gray house.
Thanks for the complimentary wine. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. We love the refrigerator! The window blinds are Beautiful!!!! I give this home away from home ten stars ******

Perfect for the 6 of us. We were here for Army graduation. Close to base, close to things in Columbus. Nice comforts from home, such as coffee, water, wine, bathroom amenities. Couch a little lumpy but not horrible. Great communication with host.

The house was nice and clean. It had all the little things you needed. It was a 10 minute drive to Fort Benning. It was also close to several good restaurants. A couple of houses nearby seemed a little suspect but were no issue. The neighborhood approaching the home was older and quiet. We did a pretty good crime search of Columbus. This was a low crime area that's one of the reasons we chose this home.

Four seventy year olds enjoyed staying. We felt safe, comfortable and checking in and communication couldnt have been easier. We enjoyed how easy it was to come and go with coded lock and motion sensor lights. The fireplace was a fun cozy perk.

The Little Grey House is a definite if you are coming to Columbus, GA. It is located close to everything. We came for my daughters wedding and we were not more than 10-15 minutes from the venue. The house is exactly like the pictures display and the owner of the house communicates very well and was prompt to answer any of my questions. They have put a lot of effort into making you feel like you are still at home when traveling. No ammenities were overlooked and there was even a "welcome" bottle of wine available for us. Would definitely stay here everytime we came to Columbus.

Fine, if you don't go outside.
For every good thing I have an equal bad thing, unfortunately.
If you need a place to sleep and then move on this is fine and convenient to shops, but this house is NOT safe for kids! Chemicals left under the sink; beer bottles, broken glass, and a needle were all located in the backyard; & rusted cut off pipes (maybe from a removed carport) in the front yard, so no place for the kids to run and play at the house. There are several parks nearby and the inside of the house is comfortable and a lot roomier than it looks. Was nice having 2 driveways.
We rented a house in order to cook our meals and eat together. But, someone placed aluminum foil on the bottom of the stove that had started to peel and gas off and fuse to the bottom of the oven and made it unusable for us. A child lock under the kitchen sink would make it safer for kids. The water and coffee was great to have available.
We choose this specific house because of the pool table and corn hole. The pool table was fun, just be aware it's part of the dinning table (in case that matters). But the cornhole was locked in a shed that the code didn't open. The back porch was nice.
The best thing I can say is there was plenty of room for my party of 7, but you have to pay extra for more than 2 people.

Came in town for a wedding and needed more space than a hotel that was close to Bibb City. This house has been nicely done with cool upgrades and good room to spread out.
