Unhappy with the cleanliness of the room

service was great, staff was friendly and nice. Breakfast served was good.

The unit we got are 2 storeys. The one below is nice and clean. However the one on top are awful.. there’s a few ‘lizard poop’ on the bed.. We did not make any fuss as we were so tired from long distance driving.. on the next day even tho the room was tidy up after room service in the morning but when we got back we still got another few lizard poop on our bed.. ended up sleeping with mask for 2 nights.. I stayed in Bala’s before in year 2023 and had a nice experience with clean room, that’s why I recommended my family to stay here again this round but were so disappointed…

Old cottage house, nice staff but could use some renovations.

The hotel is an old school building, and looks very english cottage-like. That impression was cool, but our room was quite old-timey and needed some renovations. We had some initial complaints, but the staff was very quick and helpful to rectify these issues. Breakfast was good, and especially on out checkout day, we were able to get an early breakfast to catch our bus.

The hotel seems in a bit older shape and has seen better days. The toilet in our room was leaky and needed ages to fill the water tank.

Overall ok

1. The chalet is on the hill, great location, windy and picturesque 2. The landscape is beautiful, can be up to standard of other hotel i.e Smokeshouse or Cameron Highland Resorts 3. The hot water works properly 4. The chalet is beautiful and has potential, should invest on properly maintain it

We stayed 2 nights, what I didn't like were: 1. The floor inside the room not really clean 2. There were a few broken bulb need to be replaced 3. There was no mosquito net on the window, should invest on that so we can open the window and enjoy the good weather 4. On the 2nd day, no housekeeping came to clean up the room 5. There was no iron and iron board in the room, need to climb up to the ironing room on the 1st floor which quite inconvenient considering especially women's attire to iron like tudung and baju kurung.

Overpriced, overrated, needs an overhaul

exterior, the rooster and the tea

the rooms that are a bit dirty and run down, overpriced, no bidet or eater hose next to the toilet, no fans or air conditioning, no fridge, no cleaning of rooms and beds if you stay more than a day. everything was pretty basic for an expensive price!Also, the black ants and insects that infest the barhroom

Overall satisfied with the stay. Privacy & cosy. Strongly recommended for couple.

Very nice landscaping and building decoration. Good hospitality and friendly staff.

The twin beds room needs upgrading (run down). Not so presentable. WiFi connection not stable and certain spots can not access.

The English concept cottage view.

Had difficulty to carry baby stroller using the staircase as the staircase was a little narrow. And we could hear clearly conversation of people on the other room.

Quaint Tudor style accommodation with lovely garden

Lovely English garden

Toilet - water was leaking out from the floor tile. The room was not adequately readied: No mineral water; coffee & tea sachets had to be requested, no teaspoon, no hand towel. One of the wall lamps was not working. Bedsheet was very thin (should be replaced) No bedspread (as in the website)

Great place with nature and ambience.

Staff were polite and courteous. Chef was accommodative. Sometimes prepared food on request. Very good preparation. Atmosphere and ambience were just great.

Due to manpower constraints a little let down on managing facilities, otherwise just great.

The room definitely needs a major refit.

The close to nature environment and spectacular view

The room is dusty, poor maintained. Mattress and pillow are not comfy to have a good night sleep. No toothbrush and hairdryer provided.
