The best dinner we had in Arusha, good value for money!

The garden, the staff and specially the food at dinner time. Actually this was the best food we tried in Arusha during our 5 days there. The staff was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable and cute/fun!

I wish there were a long mirror in the room so we could see ourselves and also the bathroom is always full of water. But according to the price it is expected some minor inconveniences.

What a wonderful surprise to have a quiet, beautifully set out private hotel in suc a bustling city.

Such a quiet location with wonderful garden and grounds and a pleasant swimming pool.

The kitchen service was a little slow but the food was wonderful and the surroundings so pleasant we didn't mind the wait.

great location, very nice staff, very clean place. If you are expecting luxuryous accommodations, this isn't the place. It is pretty good value for money. they arranged airport pick up in Arusha, drop off at Killimanjao and the driver was on time, vehicle was in great shape and it was value for money.

breakfast choices were very limited. I went for breakfast after an extended family group of 7 had eaten and there wasn't much left. One of the items on offer had been pancakes and i had to ask for some since the serving dish was empty. They did bring me some, but only a couple of small ones and by the time I had left 15 minutes later, they still hadn't replenished the trays.

Relaxing stay at an affordable price.

The rooms were spacious. The lounge area was perfect for reading and eating dinner even. The pool and garden area are lovely and spent an enjoyable afternoon relaxing around the pool area. The hotel is quiet and better than staying in the centre of Arusha where it can be quite noisy. The walk to the town Clocktower is about 20 minutes along a dusty, busy road, but definitely doable and nice not to have to rely on taxis. The staff were always ready to help. Never mind those fancy pricey hotels - the Tulia is just as good for less money.

We enjoyed our stay because the place was homily and yet provided us with all the essential services. The quietness of the place was excellent. I enjoyed the morning breakfast. The food was excellent.

Overall stay is satisfactory, just need to travel a bit to look for good food.

Arusha is a busy city. The tranquility of the hotel is giving it a plus point.

I wish they have a good restaurant that offer quality meal like Limao restaurant to complement the environement.

Reasonable in terms of comfort

They overcharged dinner and drinks, when asked for a correction they increased the beer price from 7000TZS to 47000TZS to justify their calculation.

I enjoyed the stay. It was short as most of the time I was attending a retreat.

Welcoming and kind staff. Breakfast was good and staff asked your preferences.

I have no complaints at all.

A break after a Safari.

Great pool and gardens. Staff were brilliant. Especially Nicolas and Jane. This was my third stay this month and Nicolas remembered my meal order from a week ago.

Some rooms could do with some maintenance. Slow flowing drains and water leaks around the shower the main issues.

A break before a Kilimanjaro climb.

Great staff. Nicolas took me around Arusha when I wouldn't have ventured off on my own. Good food.

Pool wasn't ready to use, but it was a week later on my next stay!!

Good value for money.

The management team – Jane and Henri – were first class. Even the cook, Topac. They were very attentive to client’s needs. For golfers, it is only a 25 minutes walk to the golf course.

The facility could use a better Maintenance person. Work done was sloppy and areas that needed some work (minor), were not observed, therefore not attended to.

Very tranquil area with a nice garden . ALL the staff especially Jane who was very efficient,cheerful and helpful.The chap in the dining area, I think his name was Muhammed was always ready to please and the gardener.The room was big ,clean and comfortable with fairly good WiFi. Shower was OK. Food was well presented and the breakfas ,buffet style, was very good with a variety of foods to choose from. The location was good a 20 minute walk into town and close to a couple of very good restaurant ( 5 minute walk). This is a very good hotel for an overnight stay .

The dining service was extremely slow, waited about 50 minutes for a club sandwich. No poolside loungers and there was al lack of garden furniture. The pool was not clean and the quality of the water looked very poor so unfortunately we did not use it which was a great pity as we were there for 4 nights.

Good value, well- located hotel - recommended

Excellent stay

Very well situated and the room was very comfortable. The meals are excellent and the service is really great.

Nothing major to note. The Wifi is a bit slow sometimes, , but other than that, all went very well.

Fell short on expectations despite being a nice place

Hotel in general is quiet and nice Breakfast was ok Room was spacious and comfortable They provided the security guy to escort us to another restaurant at night They kept our luggage for a week whilst we went on a Safari (had another night booked on our return)

Not hot water for the shower despite we reported it and was apparently fixed -it wasn't Attention from staff was poor We tried to have dinner at the hotel one night but the menu never came and we decided to leave after 20min We asked for a hair dryer and they only had european plug! When we told them the answer was if we had an adaptor!! We said obviously not and a guy came trying to force the european plug into the UK socket! (UK socket is the one used in Africa)

Overpriced and saggy beds.

Breakfast was underwhelming and cold. There was no bedside lamp and the beds were tired and uncomfortable. Not enough blanket for the cool nights this time of year. Feels like its run down and should be priced at about half the price that it is. Certainly doesn't meet the standard for value in the area.

Water facility needs to be repaired.

The facility was clean. The staff was responsive.

At first, the water of the toilet at Room 101 didn't run. After moving to Room 202, the water didn't run. Then, water came back with insufficient pressure. Hot water run only 20 minutes and you have to wait for hot water to come back in 15 miutes. Also, one of the sliding door at the shower room was missing.

Good location, very good service, vert good value for money

Breakfast was very good. I was the only one guest thst night, but it was freshly cooked, very tasty breakfast. Service is superb as well.

Disappointed with empty pool and outdated rooms for the price.

Property was well located and the grounds were nice.

Did not like that the pool was not operational and the website on the listing did NOT mention that. The rooms were outdated and the value was not there for what I expected.

Almost perfect

Pool, service, staff all excellent

What was disappointing was that All the restaurants were fully booked so we were forced to eat in the buffet apart from one night when we eat late at one of the restaurants.
