It was really good!

The place is located in the central area and close to everything, markets, train and bus station. The Wi-Fi really good and working perfect and one of the most important things for me: the bathroom was really good and clean and the beds were really comfortable.

The breakfast was good but the could add more things.

BED BUG ALERT

· Considering that this place has such great reviews I was absolutely disappointed with this place, absolutely no recommendations one of the worst hostels I’ve staid at. And I’ve been backpacking for 9 years now. When I arrived I was first told that the room I was booked was not available anymore, the same happened to a girl that arrived after me. Somehow they found a room. I wasn’t able to fall asleep because my body was itching, so I checked the bed and boom, there was a bed bug! Their first reaction was to tell me „to turn on a fan?“, but after asking they wanted to move me to another room, in which bed I’ve also found eggs of bed bugs! At least I was moved to a 3 star hotel next by to it when I kept talking with them but that didn’t help with the fact that my body was itching for 4 full days and obviously I had to clean all of my belongings very thoroughly. This place maybe used to be a good place for backpackers, but my recommendation is to stay as far away as possible, it looks very rundown and dirty. Best, you go to the west side of Cairo, unless you reaaallly have to be in downtown. But downtown is terrible, hustlers everywhere, and I was followed during the night, by somebody that wanted to sell me drugs. Good luck on finding a place.

Fine for a short stay to visit Luxor and Karnak

Less than a ten minute walk from the train station. The staff were pleasant and we were allowed to check in early which was kind. Very short walk to Luxor Temple (we ended up walking the Avenue of the Sphinxes to Karnak) as well as the souvenir market and a well stocked supermarket on the way.

The bathroom door allows water from the shower to flood the room. The furnishings are quite bare and worn. There are a lot of people in the area claiming to be associated with the hostel but you just have to ignore them.

Muy buena experiencia

La amabilidad del personal, en especial Mohamed y Jamila. Ambos fueron muy atentos todo el tiempo. Hicimos con ellos el tour al valle de los reyes y estuvo muy bien. El lugar muy cálido y cómodo. Muy buena relación precio/ calidad.

Konumu çok iyiydi çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü ve yardım severdi. Hostelin kendi ayarlığı turla sabah 8 de krallar vadisi , hatşepsut tapınağı ve Medine habu , mauntuaety temple of amenhotap turu yaptık çok iyi ve uygundu . Yürüme mesafesinde luxsar müzesi ve mumya müzesine gidilir. Burda bir çok Türk’le karşılaşabilirsiniz görselini eklediğim yerden hediyelik alabilirsiniz çok uygun

Tekrar konaklamak isterim

Konumu, Go-Bus terminaline çok yakın. 5 dakika yürüme mesafeesindeydi. Çalışanları çok yardımsever ve ilgiliydiler.fiyar performans açısından mükemmel. Bu fiyata kahvaltı dahil olması beni çok mutlu etmişti.Karnak tapınağına da yürüme mesafesinde.

Stay somewhere else

We chose this place because it was as short walk from the Go Bus station and the train station. We just needed ond night as we transferred from Hurghada to Aswan. The place is on the busy, dirty, east side of the river and not the more laid back west side where we had stayed before. The bed was comfortable and the sheets seemed clean and the water was hot. That is about all that is good with this place and if you are looking for a nice stay in Luxor, or even just a reasonable one, stay some place else.

Luxor is not a nice place and the best thing to do is to get in, see the tombs, and get out as quick as you can. This place is located on the dirty east side in a not pleasant neighborhood where everyone will ask for a tip or try to sell you something as you walk down the street. The room is depressing with harsh dim lights. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived and there was feces in the toilet bowl and on the seat. The bathroom is the typical Egyptian version where you shower with your toilet, the entire room gets flooded and you hope it doesn't run into the bedroom. The internet did not work in our room, the router was too far away with the thick walls. The place will only take cash in dollars and of course, they cannot not give you change in dollars. It is the typical Egypt money laundering scheme to get hard currency into the country. The breakfast was typical, just enough to put something in your stomach and you will be hungry before lunch, but that is typical of these Egyptian places. The kids running the place seem nice enough and they ask you questions seeming to be interested in your travels, but really they just are setting you up to sell you something else and extract money from you. Like the rest of Egypt.

Amigos francés y mexicano viajando en Luxor.

- El servicio y la hospitalidad son puntos muy importantes de este lugar. Desde el principio fueron muy atentos y nos hicieron más fácil nuestra estancia. Recomendamos al 100% tomar el tour que sugieren para visitar el lado Oeste de Luxor. Incluye el transporte por tierra y sobre el río Nilo. Fue mucho más eficiente transportarse de esta manera. Además es una buena oportunidad para conectar con otros viajeros. Hicimos una comunidad con buena vibra. Y visitamos una fábrica con productos artesanales. También desde el día 1 aprovechamos el tiempo pues como llegamos temprano aún no era el tiempo para hacer check in pero pudimos visitar el tempo de Karnak igual con transporte accesible y flexible para hacer paradas por parte de el hostal. Cualquier consejo no duden en preguntar, el staff es muy bueno. - La ubicación es súper accesible para explorar el área, se encuentra a unos 500 metros de el templo de Luxor. Y hay varios cajeros automáticos y supermercados. Recomendamos también visitar el mercado de frutas y verduras local. La experiencia es especial.

Tal vez las instalaciones podrían ser un poco más cómodas. Ejemplo almohadas más suaves y regular un poco mejor el aire. Pero es un tema secundario. El hostal verdaderamente tiene un buen servicio y cumple con su objetivo de manera eficiente.

Nice staff but loud

The staff were very friendly and the tour they organized for me was great value. The place was clean and the common/breakfast area on the rooftop had a great vibe.

It was very loud outside at night, to a point where I couldn't sleep even with earplugs, and the mattress I slept on was very uncomfortable.

Staff were nice. Place is very well located. There is a nice communal roof top area with good Internet.

If paying in cash, be double careful that they register your stay as paid. For me, there was a little confusion, but all sorted. The children (and adults) just outside the building can be a bit annoying.

Excelente localização, com café da manhã

O pessoal da recepção é realmente excelente ! Nos ajudaram a resolver tds os passeios, principalmente o de balão (super recomendo) e contato para o Cruzeiro no Nilo (Bob acabamos usando para outras coisas de tanto que gostamos dele). Café da manhã simples, mas pessoal sempre servindo com sorriso. Cama e travesseiro confortáveis, localização muito próxima da estação de trem e do GoBus. Wi-Fi muito bom. Banheiro compartilhado (um por andar) muito limpo.

Difícil de achar, até os próprios egípcios não entendiam onde era apesar de mostrar no celular o endereço em árabe e o mapa. Demos sorte de encontrar um senhor que nos levou até lá, apesar de ficar apenas um quarteirão e meio da estação.

清潔感もあり、チェックイン前アウト後にシャワーを貸してもらえた。日本人にもおすすめできる。ドライヤーも言えば貸してもらえる（一個しかないので使用後すぐに返却しましょう）。

寝台列車の早朝到着だったが、事前にシャワーを借りれるか連絡したところ快諾、たまたま部屋も空いていたのかチェックイン前に部屋に入れてもらえた。夜出発時もチェックアウト後にシャワーを快く貸してもらえた。ホテルでは難しい、非常に助かる対応。いつも清潔で、スタッフの対応も良く、気分良く過ごせる。

下水道の弱い国に慣れていない人がペーパーを流して詰まらせ、一時自分のフロアのトイレが使えなかった。各フロアにトイレ・シャワーがあり、清掃時に治してくれたようで不便とまでは感じなかったが、ミスを起こさせないように貼り紙などあると良いと思う。エジプトのホステルはどこもそうだったが水捌けはイマイチの傾斜なのでシャワー後はワイパーで水掻きする必要あり。

Zentrales sauberes und zuvorkommendes hostel

Einfache aber sauber Unterkunft in toller Lage von Luxor. Schnell am go Bus oder Bahnhof. Auch der luxor Tempel, der Bazar und der Nil sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr nette hilfsbereite stuff. Lekker auf der Dachterrasse.

酒店位置非常好，离火车站和GO-BUS站步行可达，附近还有表明价格的小超市，离卢克索神庙、麦当劳、大巴扎步行街，都可以步行。这个酒店各类游客很多，大家可以交流，结伴出行；酒店也帮助大家预定西岸的行程。如果提前到了可以先存放行李，如果退房了，也可以在前台大厅等待到发车时间再离开。

Accueil familial et chaleureux qui est très appréciable

L’accueil dans l’établissement a été parfait. Proche des gares (train+bus) et de toutes les commodités. Le gérant sera ravi de vous accueillir et de rendre service. Ambiance familiale très appréciable. Chambre et salle de bain vaste. Nous nous sommes tout de suite bien senti en arrivant dans cette auberge. Je recommande ++

Simple mais confortable et bien situé

La literie était très confortable. La salle de bain commune était propre, mais il faut dire que j'étais seule sur mon étage ! La terrasse avec ses lumières et toiles tendues est très agréable. Petit dej servi le matin, avec un petit pain plat délicieux. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. L'emplacement est super (dans mon cas), à 3 minutes à pied de la gare! Et pas loin non plus du temple. Le personnel d'accueil était très courtois et chaleureux. Pour le prix, ça fait vraiment bien l'affaire pour une ou deux nuits, si on aime la simplicité.

Bon à savoir: il y a une coupure de courant quotidienne de 17h à 18h. À noter: beaucoup de marches à monter/descendre, la terrasse est au 5e étage.

Convenient, strategic and felt like home

It's the perfect place to stay in Luxor east bank if you are looking for a good price, friendly and easy going but comfortable environment, and super helpful staff. The roof terrace has a nice view, is cozy and you'll love to chill there after the whole day walking around. It feels like home! Rooms are basic (mine had no wardrobe or much furniture) so a bit uncomfortable if you want to stay a long time, but otherwise it's simple and cozy and perfect for 3-7 days. Great location, the area is safe and lots of locals live around there, there are shops and restaurants too. Walking distance to all attractions, bus and train station. The staff can organise for you any sort of trip for a convenient price compared to online ones. You can even get your laundry for a very good price. Would come back!

Convenient location for a small budget

We can’t say that much about this hostel as we only used it as a workaround until the departure of our sleeping train to Cairo as we didn’t feel well on this day. But I personally think you get your moneys worth: - It’s ~5min from the train station - very young and friendly staff - they even knocked at our door before the train departure time as they wanted to make sure we won’t miss the train

It was Awesome i would stay again!

Everything. The staff is great in all way! Its summer and not much people stay there. Its very near to the Gobus and the Train station and the neighbor is very friendly too.

It was ok for the price but…

Staff was nice and helpful. They gave me a single room instead of a dorm, at no extra charge. However, the bed had bed bugs. The bathroom on my floor really needed some cleaning and maintenance, really stained toilet and an unpleasant odor. The place has potential for being better. Ultimately, the reason for such a low score is because of the bed bugs I found.

It didn’t appear like staff maintained general cleaning and maintenance of the building.

Comfortable stay in Luxor

great place to stay. comfortable dorm room with air conditioner. friendly staff. they clean very often. free tea and coffee on the rooftop. they have free breakfast. you can see the hotair balloon rise on the rooftop if you wake up early in the morning. the location is convenient very close to the train station, grocery, and luxor temple. airport transfer is cheaper than other taxi in the airport.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff!
