Our surroundings are beautifully unique and will find you feeling peaceful and relaxed. The main floor features a living room with a fireplace and a large TV - Roku - Netflis and Comcast friendly. Also featuring the most comfortable sofa that expands to a queen-size bed for a cozy night’s sleep by the fire. Just beyond is the dining room that comfortably seats six people and is excellent for entertaining or a romantic dinner. As you enter the foyer area, you will find a conveniently located first-floor bath that is easily accessible for your guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything from an Insta-pot and Air Fryer to your very own coffee bar (both Drip and French Press). From a home-cooked family meal to a quick bite before a day at the beach, you will be sure to find it pleasing. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. The master has a dreamy California King bed and is equipped to achieve your highest level of relaxation. A large TV with ROKU - Netflix will find you feeling relaxed while streaming your favorite shows and drifting off to sleep. This Master bedroom also features two mirrored double closets for storing your favorite clothes and fashion goods. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed with a double closet and is calm and peaceful, perfect for a morning sleep-in. Turtle Cove is an outdoor lover’s paradise. The property was overall really decent. Fortunately SSI is relatively small so this rental was centrally located and super easy to get to places on the island. The turtles were pretty cool, too! I live on the coast but there are just so many turtles here and a few massive ones which was neat to see over the deck. The beds were comfy, but there is no TV in the guest room.
I do wish there was access to the amenities listed in the description but unfortunately there was no key in the bowl on the kitchen counter as instructed to retrieve the bikes, beach toys, etc. I think housekeeping was just in a hurry perhaps since there were still towels in the dryer so maybe they forgot to put the key back. I hope they changed the shower curtain liner after we checked out because that thing was covered in mildew. I read somewhere on the checkin packet there was a water filter in the fridge but there was not. Overall no big deal but certainly a few things overall that were not provided that said there would be. We still had a great time and would use this same rental company again, as well as the unit.

The townhome was nicely decorated and had plenty of space for my family. The property manager was great and very responsive. We really liked feeding the turtles. One of the bedrooms backed up to a road that could be busy at night so we wore ear plugs at night. Other than that everything was perfect!

I my rental is until April 18 so I am still here for a while. I did not find the condo set up for a long term rental. There were Knick knacks, framed homilies, parrots and mermaids everywhere, making it difficult to cook and find storage for my things. The bikes have flat tires that was brought to the manager’s attention but nothing was done. The ceiling fans were filthy and pots were put away dirty. Also, with the exception of a stove top cleaner, there are NOcleaning products and only one dish towel. We are enjoying our time in St Simons but the condo has presented challenges, work and expense.

Turtle Lagoon
This place was so clean and accommodating for our trip on St. Simon. We loved the location as well as the place itself! The outdoor shower was perfect for getting the sand off and the pool here was very clean and nice!
We loved the easy check in/ Check out! We will definitely try to book with them again for our next St. Simon trip! ❤️

Highly recommend!
We booked this place for a last minute getaway and to bring our son for his first beach trip. The location of the condo was perfect, everything was within a 5 minute drive. We loved our stay at this place. It was perfect for our family! Our son loved feeding the turtles off the deck as well

Quaint & All you needed
My family of 4 stayed and we had everything we needed. A comfy 3 day stay. While here we used the pool and fed the turtles while venturing out to the beach, did some pier fishing/crabbing and enjoyed several local restaurants and shops. A blast was had by all. The condo was very nice & well maintained. We will be back.

Outside shower needs to be replaced has mold all over it. Definitely will be finding a different spot to stay next time

I really thought it was a very nice condo, alot of the things they said we would have access, wasn't available. Furniture in condo was broken, flooring in kitchen area lifting almost fell, bugs coming and going in kitchen area. Patio chair was broken, big hole in one of bedrooms. WOW, can't say anymore.no bikes for the kids to enjoy. I hope no one else has to experience this on their vacation.

This is a lovely home. Everything you can think of was in the kitchen; so much so that there wasn't any space to put our food. It was a little overcrowded with decorations. My husband enjoyed feeding the turtles off the back deck. We have US Cellular phone service and only 2 places you can use it at the house; be aware of that. We had an issue during our stay and Miss Brooke was very understanding and helped us out quickly.

We had a family trip here over the long weekend. The home met our needs with 2 kids and a dog. It was booked last minute, and we were happy to find somewhere we could bring our fur-baby too. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and linens and the kitchen had all the things we needed. We appreciated having the Rokus and being able to watch our favorite shows in the evenings. Also, having the deck off the back was nice so we could see the turtles (didn't love the location by the highway, but we knew before going where this location was). We brought a sound machine with us, so the traffic outside didn't disturb us. A few things that were less than stellar were that it was a little bit dirty. There was a lot of dust and left behind dog toys around and in the pull-out couch, indicating it hadn't been moved to be cleaned. Some of the rugs seemed a bit old and dirty. I'm sure it's hard to keep up with pet-friendly homes, but having that many rugs probably meant they were not scrubbed in awhile. Additionally, it felt a bit cluttered downstairs with all of the decorations. We had to keep moving things in order to make room and so that our sons and dog didn't knock anything over. This was a fine place to stay for a short visit, and we always enjoy our time at SSI. With a family with small kids, we will just likely stay elsewhere next time. We appreciated having the home to stay in on short notice though, and thank you to the owners!
