New Game Room! WiFi! King Bed! Family Friendly!
About this house rental
Located in Fairfield Bay, this attractive house for $385 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Leave your worries at the doorstep when you enter our favorite small town getaway! There are plenty of chances to relax: from the comfy living room with giant bay windows overlooking the forest, to the large, wrap around deck with charcoal grill, adirondack chairs, and dining table. Sink into one of the brand new beds in one of our four bedrooms and get the most peaceful sleep, free of all the sounds of the city. Each bedroom (and the living room) is equipped with a Roku smart TV set to guest mode. You can enjoy all of your own programming and playlists without missing a beat! Looking to make a family dinner? Use the fully stocked kitchen to prepare your favorite foods and eat your feast around the table for six (there's also room at the eat-in bar!) After dinner, head down to the garage that’s been converted to a game room! There are plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained! Once you have settled in, take a walk down to the lake! Greers Ferry Lake is ranked among the cleanest, clearest lakes in the nation - and covers nearly 40500 acres and 460 miles of shoreline. Our house is just steps from the lake in one direction, and a short walk from the famous "cliffs" at Greer's Ferry Lake, in the other direction. The marina has boat, stand up paddle board, and kayak rentals, or you can have fun on the party barge or fishing! The community hosts 2 championship golf courses, tennis, 3 pools including the "Cool Pool" that overlooks the lake, 90 miles of ATV/UTV trails, as well as hiking/walking trails nearby. There are several playgrounds for the kids, basketball court, a disc golf course, and mini golf! You won't run out of fun things to do! Please note: For the safety of our guests andour home, security cameras are located outside at the front of the home and by the entrance to the garage. *Disclaimer* When renting our home, please keep in mind that you are renting an older house in a heavily wooded area. Some floors are creaky and our home has some quirks that add to her character. We are located in a very quiet and lovely neighborhood amidst acres of unbothered land. With nature comes wildlife. From wild turkeys, to deer, to foxes, to snakes, to ticks and bugs, you never know what might be foraging nearby. That said, although we do our best to keep our home pest free, there are times when some wildlife will come inside (usually spiders and flies and ticks if you don't wear bug repellant). Try to keep doors closed to keep them from coming in. If you find critters outside, please be respectful of them- they were here first!

This is a wonderful home! My friends and I stayed for the weekend for a get together and we had a great time! The game room was a hit! We had a blast in there. The roads were very steep and curvy getting there but we still had a great time! 10/10 would recommend

We arrived to find a clean, well furnished, very nice home in a beautiful area of Fairfield Bay. The game room was a major bonus with my 2 grandsons ( and us older children). The weather was cool and crisp and we took several hikes down by the lake. It is a bit of drive to the nearest grocery so plan ahead. As great as the property was, it was equally matched by the graciousness of the host. I recommend this property.

We had a great time staying at this house. It is a very winding road to get there, but that's not bad. Check in is easy. The doors have code locks, and the owner sends them to you. The house is comfy and cozy. Each room has a smart tv. Wifi is good. The porch is really nice for hanging out, and it is shaded well. The game room is amazing. It is a converted garage with lots of big and small games. Bring your own console to hook up to the tv if you want. They have a game cube. Beds are comfy, but bring extra blankets if you like to hang out covered up. The house is technically lake-front, but you have to drive a bit if you want real access. Luckily, there is a FANTASTIC kind of local spot about a five minute drive away down a trail that is virtually private (compared to Heber Springs Dam Site) with cliffs for jumping. We went there three times; awesome! Town is good but small. The owner generously supplies an access card for some resort activities in town. There are two stores about 10 minutes from the house: Dollar General and a connected grocery store. If you come in from the wrong way on highway 16, you will think you have to go all the way back to Clinton to shop, but you don't. Overall, we loved our trip and this house! I had to call her once, and she was helpful and responsive.

We had a wonderful time at our Fairfield Bay rental. The owners were extremely kind and were beyond easy to work with. They accommodated our special request without hesitation. We have a large family and my kids enjoyed hours in the game room and loved the great outdoors. We have found our new home away from home when our son fishes tournaments at Greer’s Ferry Lake. We look forward to next year already!

LOVE the Game Room!!!
Our group of six adults had a blast here- the game room made us all feel like kids again! :) This is not the most secluded spot, but the neighbors were really nice and even gave a few of us a ride in their golf cart to see the sunset! The house was adorable, very clean and the owners were so nice and super responsive to messages. Highly recommend this spot for a fun weekend getaway!

My family chose this rental because we wanted a mountain getaway. We were not disappointed! I traveled with my husband, 6 of our kids, and two of the kids' friends. The house was clean and inviting. We had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space was comfortable and peaceful. Fairfield Bay residents were very friendly and kind. Colleen was very responsive and helpful.
My oldest daughter requested a retreat upon college graduation. Our goal was to spend time together and enjoy the hiking in the area. There are endless opportunities for outdoor activities. We hiked, visited the lake, went to parks, tried some geocaching.
There is a Walmart about 25 minutes away. I planned meals and ordered groceries for curbside pickup on the way. The local grocery stores were great for extras as we needed them.
My family had a great time vacationing in Arkansas and would love to go back in the spring or fall.

GPS directions took us to the house without any problems. The house had plenty of space. Pillows were better than any rental property we have stayed in. House was clean. The walk to the lake was steep. We rented a pontoon from the marina near by, the kids love that. Over all a great place.

Excellent Lake House!
We loved our stay here. We rent vacation properties all over the country and this one far exceeded our expectation!! It’s newly remodeled and the setup was perfect for our crew - single dad and kids plus a couple and kids. The beds were comfortable and we loved the bedroom connected to the master because our kids are young and like to sleep near mom and dad when they are away from home! And there was plenty of room to setup 2 pack and plays for the babies. The older kids loved the hammock outside plus the checker board and dominos. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for cooking. I’ve been to rentals before where you have to go buy salt and pepper just to cook eggs or buy a can opener to open a can of corn. Well, this kitchen had everything!!!!!
There were so many thoughtful extras throughout the house and the owner was super responsive to any questions I had. It doesn’t have a lake view - but it’s walking distance to a little cove where our kids enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding. It’s quite a hill so we got some good exercise 😁 We brought our boat and the marina was just about 10 minutes away - be warned that it’s quite hilly. But that’s to be expected when you are in the Ozarks! We had never been to Fairfield Bay but found it was a fun place for a long weekend getaway. Not a lot of restaurant options but the cool pool cafe was a fun night out. Food isn’t great but the kids loved swimming while we waited for dinner so that was awesome. We would go again just for that! And we went to the park and did mini golf and disc golf one night and it wasn’t crowded at all so that was nice. But we mostly spent a lot of time on the lake and really enjoyed it!
