The Sonder in Detroit was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Great location and the studio apartment was beautiful. Very modern and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay at a Sonder in the future!

This place is located in an amazing spot to be able to walk to everything which me and my husband love to do when we visit somewhere! The pictures don’t match what the place actually looks like but that doesn’t take away from how amazing this place actually is. This is more of a studio set up so as long as your ok with that, you are going to enjoy this place as much as what we did.

We came for the Morgan Wallen concert and eas able to walk the city and to ford field no problem! (With heels) TIP: make sure to read parking info in email thoroughly before your stay and the 222 address parking is WAY closer and easier despite what the GPS may tell you! Thanks Sonder, we approve!

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my stay here. I was originally placed in the wrong unit (a room that did not at all resemble the one I booked) which was particularly inconvenient arriving late my first night. I had two other friends staying in the building who both booked queen rooms, which were less expensive but significantly more spacious and luxurious than my king room- the only difference was they had a slightly smaller bed. There was almost no place to store clothing in my unit, just one very small closet. Others staying in the building had a huge closet and chests of drawers in their less expensive units. There was nowhere comfortable to sit- just a very small corner chair that seemed more like a staging piece than an actual piece of furniture. The essentials closet was almost never fully stocked, so any time I needed a basic restock, I could not find it. It would be nice if the property took the same kind of care in decorating the rooms as they do decorating the lobby; the furniture and finishings in the lobby are of a significantly different standard than what was in placed the rooms. Maybe this would work well for a short stay, but for my long stay it was quite inadequate. If I had to stay here again, I would definitely book a queen room- they are more like one-bedrooms than studios and offer many more storage and seating options for a significantly lower cost.

Cute setup, incredibly clean with a comfortable bed and plenty of space for one or two. Has all the essentials you need. Plenty of nearby parking ($30 for 24 hours or cheaper if you go a bit further away).

Given my the location of the wedding I was going to, I can’t complain about the location, given how close it was to the event. It felt that fancy stuff was thrown into an un-fancy building. Having that said, it was done very well and I’m impressed with how good you guys were able to get it to look. Lastly, my overall impression. Given that my bed was 15 feet from the door, with nothing blocking my its sight/sound, it didn’t feel worth the extra money compared to a typical hotel. Also, getting spammed with requests to review my stay with no option to stop said emails, has left a bad taste in my mouth. The only reason, I didn’t end up blocking the email sender was in case I needed to use you guys in the future, I’d need to still get your emails.

It was clean and the only thing I would say was there was a towel ring in the Bath that was broken. It was very well located for what we were doing. Museum, football game. We had no issues.

Property was just like the photos. Clean and stocked with necessities. Very secure building with easy entry. Lobby and halls smell really nice. Apartment was very close to food, shopping and activities. Would stay again!!

It’s Modern, the price was reasonable, it’s clean, , the bed was so comfortable, whenever I come to to Detroit, I will stay. The only thing is parking, but I know where to park.

This place was like having your own apartment. Glad they included complementary coffee for us in our unit. The lobby area had a nice seating and the desk person was very helpful. The access codes made it feel safe and easy for us. The units are nicely designed and well put together.

Went for a weekend of sports for my Michigan Man! Great location! Within walking distance to everything. We walked a ton! But worth it. Apartment had all the amenities you needed and then some. Would stay at one of these rentals again.

This was even better than staying at a fancy hotel in downtown Detroit. The images are exactly how the studio apartment looks. 100% would stay here again. This had everything you need while staying somewhere as an out of towner. The only thing that I did not expect is that you had to pay for parking.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend. Perfect little space to sleep at night and was able to cook meals with ease. The location is within walking distance of several great restaurants and bars. We managed to hop on the trains right outside the front door to get to Little Ceasers Arena. Thank you!

My friend & I booked this apartment for Detroit Marathon weekend. It was the perfect location for start/finish line and everything in between. Walkable to food & shopping! We also loved having access to washer & dryer in the apartment. We didn’t have to bring home sweaty clothes! Would recommend!

Convenient to Detroit’s civic, sport, and cultural venues. Restaurants and coffee shops close by. The electronic key pads to enter building and unit were convenient and easy to use. Bed was comfortable. The unit had all the amenities needed in a studio. Nice seeing the toiletries in large containers instead of single use products. Place wasn’t too noisy considering the building was located in the city. We had one problem—our coffee carafe had a hole in it and after notifying Sonder via the Sonder app, a new coffee maker was delivered. We would consider staying here again!

Extremely surprised at the stocking of our downtown Vrbo residence. Excellent decor, cleanliness and location. Good reasonable parking nearby and lovely places to eat too. Highly recommended too. Building doing renovations too.

The communication was self explanatory. I downloaded the Sonder app to use to enter and exit the property. There was security at the front desk. The property is located near restaurants,bars and a few miles from shops. Parking is within walking distance. There isn’t anything I can think of I needed because it was already there from detergents, olive oil for cooking and packaged sponges for cleaning. I would recommend and when I return this will be my first choice. Thanks and hope this review helps others.

Property was very clean and had a security guard on watch 24/7. Parking was a little of a hassle and there weren’t any free options, but it was a great overall stay. Lots of easy places to walk to since it was in a great location.
