Our family--two adults and a toddler--had a delightful time staying in the cottage. A short walk to the boardwalk and the beach, and not far from a whole bunch of restaurants and bars either. Would 100% recommend to a group of 2 or 3 travelers!

We had the BEST time at Margarita's house. The proximity to the beach is hard to beat. The house was comfortable for our group and clean. Margarita was also a great host with very helpful recommendations! Definitely would stay again!!

My group really enjoyed our stay at this Point Pleasant house! I was presently surprised by the space and my group was able to enjoy the home comfortably. We spent a lot of time outside on the patio furniture and really enjoyed being able to be outside. You can’t beat being steps away from the beach & boardwalk! Margarita was amazing in giving us recommendations & dropping off any extra supplies we needed promptly throughout our stay.

The best part of the house was proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Otherwise, we ran into several issues and feel the listing should be updated. We were there Thursday to Sunday and the beach tags that were supposed to be included didn't arrive until Saturday after 11 and we already had to pay. The keyless entrylock did not always work leaving us locked out until it randomly started working again. The host did not respond to or acknowledge our calls when we were locked out. Basic kitchen items that were supposed to be included weren’t. We had to purchase all flatware, and paper towels as there were none. There were very few cooking items so we had to eat out the whole time. The beach chairs included in the listing are also broken and completely rusted. The house did not seem to be cleaned prior to arrival. There was hair and other things in the bathroom that were gross. The kitchen was dirty and countertops weren’t clean. We were at the house during the wildfires and were shocked and appalled to find the tops of several windows open after we had been there for several hours when the air conditions were deemed "hazardous". The sofas were so uncomfortable we were sitting on pillows and luggage. We went out to avoid being on them for extended periods of time. They claim to be sofa beds but are very uncomfortable to sit on I can’t imagine anyone sleeping on them. The house is very small and realistically can fit 3 maximum. Overall major disappointment.

We are so grateful for the experience we had in this home. The location was perfect - an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. We felt safe and clean in the home and made great memories. Margarita is an incredible host and was always there if we needed anything. We felt like family and can’t wait to come back!

Property was just the right size for our family of two adults and two children. Kitchen was a good size with several small appliances, microwave, dishes, utensils, etc. ,with a washer dryer stack in the living area, and AC units in bedrooms and living area. Plenty of towels, and also beach towels provided. The best part is the location, which is a very short walk down the alley to the boardwalk and beach. And a nice 10 to 15 minute walk down the boardwalk to get to Jenkinson's restaurants, arcades, mini golf, etc. We even had a 5-minute walk to the inlet to do some fishing with my grandsons.

I’m going to give a completely honest review both pros and cons. First the pros….nicely decorated, easy walk to boardwalk, ice cream stand right across the street, great communication from host, easy access, nice kitchen with small appliances, AC was cold, water was hot with great shower and washer and dryer. Pet friendly! Now the cons….in the pictures you will see the parking area with seating/eating area. You can’t use the outside seating, the one on concrete parking area is blocked by your vehicle, the chairs by side door have cars going by. Actually while you are sleeping cars are going right past your windows. Located on a busy street. While it’s an easy walk to boardwalk the actual attractions are a good deal away. The beach is quite a hike too if you have any problems walking. We were happy that we were able to bring our dog and if any are traveling with your pet it’s an easy walk to Loughran Point. Fisherman’s Cove has a dog beach and a 10 minute ride to Community Park in Point Pleasant for a great walk on leash.

This place was perfect for our annual friends trip. Steps to the beach and a short walk from the boardwalk. The host was super responsive and when one of our AC units went out on the hottest weekend, she had someone there to replace it in just a few hours. Definitely recommend!

We had a great stay here. House was clean, had all amenities, beds were comfortable, convenient parking, and Margarita is a wonderful host. It’s a great spot to access all of the fun things Point Pleasant has to offer.

The location is great! The house is very clean, cozy but just enough space that when we were not out at the beach or on the boardwalk we were playing card games and off screens with the kids! Huge plus is that it’s pet friendly. We brought our oldest dog so it would be her vacation as well. Canines and Cocktails/dinner at Jenks inlet bar was great! We met good people and pups! Thank you Margarita! We have so many great memories and can’t wait for more!!

This is a nice little beach cottage, with easy access to the beach and boardwalk. It is small, and "Sleeps 6" is a bit of a stretch. If you're planning on preparing any meals for yourself, know that the cooking utensils/amenities are minimal. There is also a lack of an outdoor spigot/hose, which would have been nice for removing sand when coming in from the beach. Otherwise, the hosts are very communicative and we enjoyed our stay.

We chose the property due to location and that they allow dogs. We had a GREAT experience. Property was as described. It was comfortable and has a great location literally less than a block to the boardwalk and beach! Property owners were responsive but we had no issues so hadn't needed to contact them. They left us baked goods on our door step one morning! Really enjoyed our stay!
