Close to the beach, comfortable bed, clean property

We paid almost $1000 for 3 nights over Anzac weekend. There were a few things that, for the price, SHOULD have been included. The kitchen stove was missing a knob, to ignite a cigarette lighter was provided. The kettle was broken so did not automatically switch off. The dishwasher was very noisy. The TV remote often did not work. No fly screens in front or back door so a lot of flies and mosquitoes inside. No soap provided in shower or 2nd bathroom. The lawn had been mowed but all the cut grass left behind, as well as dog poo from a previous tenant. The outdoor BBQ was old and not clean. Before we arrived I received some 6-8 emails requiring further account information which booking.com already had. A cleaning fee was requested for our little dog which was NOT in the booking.com advertisement, so I raised a dispute. This was rectified but more emails and texts messages continued. The one piece of information bring the password for the key box was not provided so I had to call to obtain this. The day prior to leaving (Sunday) another email was sent to me requesting check out information and yet another telling us that Tuesday was garbage day so out there bins out. Bring bombarded with emails was intrusive and unnecessary. You travel to get away from this.
