Just amazing! Would highly recommend

The location was just perfect. After a long day In cinqueterre this is the best possible place to end the day. It is very relaxing and serene. The restaurant was amazing as well, all made in the place and delicious. We were greeted in the best way possible and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Will come back!

Excellent Experience at Cinqueterre

The time at Locando was excellent. The location to cinque terre was perfect, the room with private bathroom was very confortable, the breakfast was very good and the simpaty of everyone. Have a dinner at the restaurant was an excellent experience.

Good location, very basic rooms, doesn’t worth the price

Location, it's not far from Cinque Terre and the village is nice. The rooms were very clean. You have the possibility to have dinner in the restaurant at the property, the food is good.

The facilities in the room are of very low quality, the towels are super thin and old, mattress and pillows are not at all comfortable (you can feel the springs in a mattress). You can easily hear everything from the room: people getting into the building, talking in other rooms, taking shower, flushing the toilet, etc. The main door is squeaking so badly, it is honestly very easy to fix that! The room is not at all decorated, so if you're expecting a stylish Italian design, that's not definitely the place. The breakfast could include fresh fruits, as mentioned in other reviews. Also, the property claims sustainability but the breakfast has almost everything (jams, butter, cornflakes, cookies) in individual packages which I believe is not very eco-friendly.

Excellent accommodation when visiting Cinque Terre

+ family business, with super nice and always happy to help staff/family members + very clean property, from the room to the restaurant and surrounding yard + very good value for money to visit Cinque Terre (15-25 minutes drive to Monterosso) + tasty, self-produced traditional italian products + attentively cared, beautiful property

- rooms' design is a bit outdated, but this doesn't affect the great experience of staying at Marco's in any way

Very pleasant stay in a small country village, waking up to church bells and roosters :)

Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Excellent home made ravioli, bolognese sauce and wild roar stew on the menu!

Towels could be a bit thicker and some fresh vegetables on the menu.

Exceptional

Nice family hotel in the quiet village in the mountains. 15 min drive to Monterosso. Nice garden. Very clean. Possibility to eat in the restaurant.

Highly recommended

Beautiful location, the whole area is well taken care of and sparkling clean. The family works very hard to provide the best service to their guests and they are really really nice. The food is delicious, from the great coffee for breakfast to the homemade ravioli for dinner! The place is perfectly located to explore the Cinque Terre and surroundings. Our room was very comfortable with a great shower. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to return. Thank you Marco and family!

Sometimes the road can be a bit noisy (depending on time of the day) but usually it’s a quiet place

Lovely hotel ran by a welcoming family

Family run business, Marco and his family were super hospitable, gave lots of advice on getting around Cinque Terre and really enjoyed his recommendation to visit Porto Venere. Food was made by his parents and is really delicious. The rooms were super clean, always smelled fresh. Even if is a 15 mins drive to Cinque Terre, the road was enjoyable and full of green. We also liked that the area was super quiet so had a great sleep at night. Would definitely recommend to someone seeking tranquillity, just a short breath from Cinque Terre.

Superb

This place is a true pearl on the country side. Simple rooms but a lovely small hotel. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. It is located in a small pittoresque village. The hosts are great, and provide valuable advice on activities in the region. Food served in the restaurant is simply delicious (!) especially the home made ravioli are recommended! We had a fantastic stay

extraordenary clean, large, spatious rooms. Marco is a great help by planning the itinerary. Very good tips on getting around in the region. The food is a must try at Marco‘s restaurant.
