I liked all the staff. They all did their best to give us a good time in Lombok. I felt like being a family member rather than a guest. With some of them we had continuous contact. Special thanks goes to Faiza, smart and very much caring for our little daughter. The same goes for Sahrul. Ojik who we had plenty of conversations with. And Fajrul, a decent and honest guy. Fernando a Spanish guy who was eager to take care of the guest, I really appreciated that though that was not his job. The breakfast was great. You could select between 4 options. I recommend the continental or cereal option, the banana porridge was my favourite. The pastries were really great, soft and yummy. The fruits were also great. Still there are also some improvement opportunities such as the selection of fruit, e.g. it would be great to have mango from time to time. I mean mango is growing everywhere. Chocolate cream for breakfast would also be fine. The pizza was great. Same goes for the cappuccino (available for extra charge). The beach is nearby. You can walk approximately 10 minutes or the hotel will drive you there and will pick you up. The communication is managed by Whatsapp. So ensure that you buy an Indonesian sim card to have online connection. You can buy one for 5 dollar and have plenty of gigabytes. I bought mine in Jakarta. I liked the lobby. Warm elements, lots of wood. It was a pleasure to have breakfast there and to dine. Prices for the dinner are reasonable. Mosque is nearby also 5 minutes walk by foot. Also some restaurants. I recommend going to Warung Corner. Clean and delicious food and the owner is a really nice guy. The staff really did everything to fulfill our wishes. Our first villa was ok but I saw that another villa was available after one week and I asked if we could move there. Villa Joey. We moved there. And the villa was really superb. Very comfortable nice pool and the shower amazing, the bed comfortable and with nice looks.

Our first villa (Laura) was ok but already feeling a little bit old and compared to the second one no competition. Still, I liked the green plants in the shower room. The towels were kind of clean but had many stains which I guess the staff was not able to wash them out completely. This was disturbing. The first villa had many insects. The second not so much. The water in the pool of the first villa was not as clear as the second one. The big pool in the lobby was kind of dirty, with dead insects and greenery as well as leaves. They were building new villas nearby. Sometimes the noise was more than disturbing. I understand that in some way there is no real alternative for the guest. But I would at least make this up, with a reduction of the price or free dinner or whatever... The next aspect is nothing which tropik is responsible for but I still would like to mention that. Keep in mind that in other beaches (not the one nearby Tropik Selong Belanak) some random guys don't let you through unless you pay 10.000 IDR. This is not a big amount, still it is annoying and spoils the great atmosphere in Lombok.

Nous avons passé la soirée au restaurant avec piscine de très bon cocktail , la salle de jeux billard et fléchette le tout entourés d’un staff sympathique très efficace et à l’écoute( mention spécial pour ADI) La cuisine est excellente et généreuse Je recommande à 100%

The indoors of the private villa was amazing, really great interior design. (Especially loved the local art). Very clean and fairly new. The staff were so friendly.

During our stay there was construction happening either side of our villa. It was noisy, blew in a lot dust and the workers were able to look in which was not ideal.

Villas itself, the amazing stuff always ready to help you. They even played with my kid a lot of times without me asking for it. Also the navette to the beach and the area. The villas are super equipped and we rented scooters to go around the area which is stunning and authentic

There is a mosque next-by and at 5am you can hear the prayers. Good for people just to be aware so you know before coming.

The staff were all wonderful! They were so kind, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The chef Sidin kindly gave my daughters some complimentary cooking classes and his food was exceptional. The villa was beautiful and very spacious and the location so pretty and not far from the beach. We loved also feeling close to nature with the stunning surroundings

Hidden gem about 1.6km from Selong Belanak beach. The staff is amazing in accomodating all your needs. Just put your request (transport, scooter, laundry, BBQ at villa,…) in the WhatsApp group and staff attends to it within minutes. The food was exceptionally good. Big swimming pool, sports bar with pool, darts … The villas are spacious and clean. So many cozy spots to sit around the resort.

A bit more expensive but definitely worth it.

Staff are super responsive and the food is very decent and reasonably priced. Facilities and rooms are all very clean and new.

Lot's of "wild life" noise (chickens, goats etc.), It's a bit of a walk to the beach but they provide a car service which was timely and easy to agree.

The resort feel of the villas and the exceptional service. Also they were able to accomodate short notice use of transport.

The food was Ok. Big pool, large villa. Everything was Nice and clean. Free driver available for anywhere near the beach. Would recommend if you really want to rest and not do much during the holiday.

The only disadvantage was the location. About 30-40 minutes drive to Kuta. Nothing nearby the resort. Driver available upon payment to bring you to Kuta, so that Made up for the location. Frogs, insects and even a small snakte but thats part of the nature, I guess.

The place was very comfortable, the outdoor space is great, nice for a small celebration with friends. Kids really enjoyed the pool. They provide transport to the beach which is just 5mins away, one of the nest beaches I've been on.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and prepared in good timing. The location was very convenient to Selong Balanak beach. The resort provides a free shuttle to take you to and from the beach on demand.

We can honestly say that our week long stay at Tropik has been one of the best holidays our family of 5 has ever had. The staff were amazing and made every effort possible to make us feel special and welcome. Our villa ‘Bailey’ was simply stunning - all modern but in a tropical style, with so much space and a lovely pool and spa that was heated for pretty much our entire stay. The air conditioning was fantastic and we all slept very well in the perfectly climate controlled rooms. The outdoor bathrooms were also particularly special, adorned with local tropical plants and with very good water pressure and temperature control. The food at Tropik restaurant was consistently delicious and the head chef Sidin made a special effort to ensure our daughter who has a nut allergy was kept safe from the allergen. He also did a cooking class for our 3 kids which they loved. Having the option for free delivery to our Villa was an extra luxury we also enjoyed although the kids loved playing darts in the sports bar while we dined at the restaurant. Selong Belanak seems like a hidden gem to us. The beach is beautiful and we all enjoyed surfing everyday and then relaxing back at Tropik, soothing our sore muscles in the heated spa. The WhatsApp system of communication works very well and we had free transport to and from the beach whenever we wanted. Also very noteworthy is the value for money. Such a high level of service and luxury for a great price that is very hard to beat. Thank you so much to Lyly, Jas and all of the Tropik staff. You are creating something amazing and we look forward to seeing how it has grown and flourished when we return next year (where we have decided to give Bali a miss altogether and spend all our time at Selong Belanak!)😊

We couldn't ask for more. Food was excellent. The breakfast was so much that it lasted all day. Staff was overwhelmingly friendly and truly welcoming. The Owner is a "sweetheart". The villas are perfect (and brand new). The pick up service to the beach is the cherry on top.

For us, it was the nicest place we ever stayed in. The common areas are beautifully made, staff is unbelievable nice and outgoing even compared to high indonesian standards, villas are gorgeous and in room service makes it pure luxury. Everything is very new with great attention to details. There is a free shuttle to beach also at any time you wish and it is about a minute drive. Setting of the beach is truly breathtaking, go for surf and also for the sunset. We really enjoyed the dining area setting and the food, we basically dined at tropik for the most amount of our stay, definitely recommend the soups! Breakfast was biggest and best we had during out 4weeks travel in indonesia. We fell in love with tropic and had extremely relaxing besutifull family time with our 3kids and grandma at tropik.
